I ordered the 12-piece family meal, which was listed on the menu as $21.99. However, at checkout, the total came to around $53, which was surprising and confusing. While placing my order, I asked a few questions since it was my first visit. Unfortunately, the employee assisting me was noticeably short and unhelpful. As someone who also works in customer service, I understand how important it is to be patient and courteous with customers -- especially since we interact with many different personalities every day. On a positive note, the food itself was fresh and well-presented. The chicken tenders and biscuits were delicious, and the sauce was great. The mashed potatoes were a bit bland and the mac and cheese was average, but overall the meal was decent. That said, the experience was overshadowed by the lack of friendliness from the staff. Customer service can make or break a business, and a little kindness and attentiveness can go a long way. Because of that interaction, I don't think I'll be returning, even though the food was good. I'm sharing this feedback not to get anyone in trouble, but in hopes that management takes it as an opportunity to improve. Great food deserves great service to match.
