My first time back in 2026 to one of my favorite, casual, comfortable restaurants with multiple delicious chicken salads to choose. Today we found they have expanded their menu and everything looks good! In nice weather we appreciate that they also serve at covered outside tables Food: I always go for 3 scoops, so I can take home one, usually the one of the salads with fruits. I like all of them, so my order changes each time. My friends chose the sandwich on toasted croissant or bread. The restaurant now has more desserts than at my last visit, so we go beyond the tasty little cookie that comes with the meal. I'll post the new menu so the additional salads and desserts will be easy to see. There are 3 soups each day but they change each day. Service: You order at the counter, and they bring your lunch to you at a table inside or outside. The staff have always been pleasant and friendly. There is often a small line-but it moves very quickly. Facility: clean, pleasant, clean restrooms Location : very convenient location in a popular shopping strip mall -easy to free in a small outside line of stores and restaurants with parking in a large lot. read more

This is my boyfriend's new obsession. He said this is some of the best chicken salad he's ever had. I'm personally not a chicken salad fan, so I didn't order anything, but everything looked awesome! I did have a taste of the sugar cookie though, and wow, it was so tasty! All of the chicken salad chicks are set up the same but this one had a lot of "hometown" Athens pictures on the walls. Kind of disappointed. Had heard good things but... Ordered the turkey club on a croissant with honey mustard. The croissant was dry, only one piece of bacon,l and I never did taste the honey mustard. Macaroni and cheese as a side dish and it was nothing special. A dollop or two of cranberry sauce and a fresh croissant would have made a huge difference. Probably won't go back. read more

We normally love the chicken salad, but today my wife and I went there for lunch and order or favorite Dixie chick chicken salad sandwiches. Unfortunately the batch was not good and lacked the normal taste. It was watery and bland. We didn't return the sandwiches because it was really busy. I went to get the grab-n-go containers. 1 classic carol, 1 Olivia's old south and small grape salad. I ordered at 4:05 and finally got my food at 4:35. When I asked "did y'all forgot about me ?", they looked at my receipt and said they are making the chicken now. But at least 10 people came in after me and ordered and got their food within 10 mins. We had a large women's event and needed 950 boxed lunches. I had a wonderful experience with the Athens, GA Chicken Salad Chick location. Honestly, it couldn't have been better! The staff was friendly, the large order was delivered on-time, as promised, and the lunches were a perfect compliment to all the women attending the event, as well as the men who were serving. We chose the Classic Carol and the Buffalo Barclay, with the grape salad and broccoli salad. Thank you for being willing to accommodate our large request and doing it with such precision and excellence. Dropped in for lunch on a Tuesday. Got there at noon and there was a line to order. They had three stations to order so the line moved quickly. My wife ordered a scoop of chicken salad with baked potato soup and I got the pimento cheese BLT with broccoli salad. Our orders arrived very quickly after we sat down. My wife always enjoys their chicken salad and she thought the soup was tasty. I really enjoyed my sandwich on toasted wheat and the broccoli salad was good. I have tried 7 different chicken salads now and every single one is delicious! every time I try something there i say "this is the best ___ I've ever had!" every flavor, the potatoe soup, the bread, even the pickles and sugar cookies that come free with the meals are the best ever. it's so good I ate there for lunch and for dinner today because I couldn't get enough. my 3 favorite flavors are the sassy Scotty, lauryn's lemon basil, barbie-q and Pam's Parmesan... and yes I know that's 4 but they are all too good to choose! Was absolutely blown away. This was my first visit to any of there locations. Honestly I hadn't even heard of them till today. The wide variety of chicken salad was amazing. All available prepackaged to go if you just wanna grab some chicken salad and go. Jalapeño chicken didn't even know it was a thing it was perfect. As a first timer I was very happy that they let you sample everything first. Not necessary for me I wanted to be surprised so I asked the cashier her favorite. My order included a wonderful Jalapeño Holly salad sandwich with a side of pasta salad and a extra scoop of Lauren's Lemon Basil salad. This allowed me to try another chicken salad with some crackers which were included with a pickle spear. So I grabbed my food and sat on the patio. Personally the Pasta salad was great but missing something, Red Onion or maybe Cucumber something adding crunch. The Croissant was prefect, flaky, buttery and airy. Holly's salad was a huge hit for me, I could eat that on bread or crackers forever. The Lemon Basil was very good but not for me. But personally I usually only like basil in pesto. This place is amazing! My favorite spot for a quick lunch- I love take out here too. I usually get the Kickin Kay Lynne and I LOVE it. I am not a chicken salad eater but this place changed my mind. Their sides are all amazing as well. If It's cheat day I am devouring their pasta salad because it is so good. The only thing that knocks this place down a star is sometimes they run out of the flavors and I wish they would just make more of them if they are really in high demand. However, love this place! Excellent experience! Had lunch at the Athens location and really enjoyed our first visit to this chain. The location is bustling (crazy parking lot next to Fresh Market) and the restaurant was pretty full. They have a good amount of seating and the atmosphere is nice and homey. There were tons of employees coming through to clean tables, deliver food, etc. and they were pretty smiley and helpful. The food was amazing. Had the lemon basil chicken scoop and grape salad - very tasty and generous servings. Price is higher than fast food, but about the same as Panera or Moe's.
