My experience at Chicken Run was I might say the most flawed 5 star experience I've had. The atmosphere of the place was great, cozy but not excessively so. The service was kind but very delayed in terms of speed, i know brunch places are notoriously slow, but that is no excuse for hiring more people. However as always the most important aspect is food. The breakfast burrito I got was excellent, a little heavy on the egg, but delicious nonetheless. They didn't have a humongous oversized one like most places do, but instead had a decently large one with most of the plate comprised of ranch potatoes. I would normally have an issue with this, but their ranch potatoes were worth being the mainstay of the plate, very well made. They also have the glass pitcher for the table which apparently is more common than I thought, great for convenience, meh on aesthetics. I did not expect to have too much seasonings or salt on my dish and was accurate in my assumptions. This is a great lunch spot. I had the half turkey sandwich/Cobb salad. My wife had the crab cake eggs Benedict and my son had the chocolate chip pancake. Everything tasted great and they have really good prices. My son ate his entire pancake and it wasn't small. My only real complaint was they were out of soap in the bathroom. I enjoyed the Hiker's Benedict which had asparagus, mushrooms and even came with mixed greens on the side.
