This location has been around for as long as I can remember & I personally have a good experience any time I stop by. My most recent time visiting was good & the woman working was very pleasant. There weren't many people inside at the time but the dining area was absolutely spotless. Not a single table was dirty, the floors were free of trash & the soda area was tidy. Prices have gone up pretty much everywhere but I think you get your monies worth here. Their bowls are some of my favorite around. The chicken is always juicy, fresh & I love how it has a citrus-y aftertaste. There's always chicken on the grill so you know it's coming out hot. The yellow rice they use as the base is delicious & they have plenty of options to choose from whether it's a bowl, wrap or salad. There's a lot of toppings to add on also if you'd like. The salsas are fresh & they have a good range from mild to very spicy. I love how the mustard curry is always consistent. Although I usually don't like the taste of curry, this sauce is amazing. If you're into heat the spicy verde salsa is a must have. It has a refreshing taste upfront with a great kick of heat that creeps up afterwards. Time for an update since I last reviewed this place about 5 years ago! To begin with, the place was absolutely spotless, no trash on the ground or dirty tables anywhere in sight. I've always liked the chicken here, and I love all the different ways you can get your chicken. They have chop chop bowls, wraps, salads, and even quesadillas. Today I had the Bazooka chop chop which is chopped chicken breast, black beans, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and guacamole on top of a bed of yellow rice. You are also served a half of pita bread with it and you could pick up to two sauces of your choice. For me that's always the hardest part, because I absolutely love all of their sauces. I'd have to say though that my favorites are the mustard curry and cilantro garlic. chicken. They no longer have a self serve sauce area which isn't necessarily a bad thing since it was always a mess there. They now keep the sauces in individual containers behind the counter and you just let the person preparing your food know which ones you want. The food was absolutely delicious and I had enough for two meals. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's a bit on the pricey side. In all honesty, I think one star is being very generous. My nephew was competing in a tournament nearby and I had seen this place when we were here last time. The website looked good, the food looked good, so why not? To start with, we ordered and paid online. The order never came through. I checked to make sure it was the correct location, and it was. The payment went through, the order did not. The woman behind the counter recreated the order from the receipt, but that didn't show any of the modifications we had made. For this review, that would actually go in their favor. If we didn't like the food it could be because we changed it. Instead, this review is on the food just as they make it. I ordered the teriyaki chop-chop. It was the only item that I saw that had chicken thighs rather than breasts. (I prefer dark meat.) The chicken part was fine but the bowl was mostly rice. I couldn't possibly eat that much rice. And I ordered the small bowl. The Bazooka Chop-Chop and the Mexican Chop-Chop were mediocre. Nothing about either was all that great, but my sister did like the chipotle-lime sauce. The cole-slaw was the worst I have ever tasted. I'm not sure what they did to it, but it was not good. I'm confused . I ordered a Chicken Mexican chop, and now they want to charge a $1.00 for a small cup and $2 for the larger cup for the chicken skin. This is absolutely ridiculous. Fast food at its finest. Basicly grilled chicken served with rice and other toppings. I had the deluxe, it's grilled chicken served on yellow rice, topped with lettuce and tomatoes, and half a pita bread. I added some of the salsa which gave a nice kick. It tasted real good. I also had a small cucumber, tomato and onion salad. It was fresh and had good flavor. For my daughter I got her a small original. It's just chicken, yellow and a half a pita bread. I expected he'd ask if I had any questions on the menu but he did not. He spoke so low I could not make out what he was saying and he just seemed miserable. No sense of good customer service. I ordered my bowl and then went to order my friends wrap. He wanted a teriyaki wrap. The gentleman informed me you get a much bigger portion size with the bowl since there's no wrap so I opted out for the bowl. Expecting it would come with ALL the toppings the wrap did. I was mistaken. All that came in the bowl was rice and chicken! No scallions or any other toppings the wrap came with! Major disappointment! I would've rather paid the exact same price for the wrap and gotten more toppings out of it. I went to pay and the woman didn't even talk. She just stared at me blankly. I asked about the sauces and she said they were by the drinks. I walked over and there were no lids. Apparently they offer to-go food but no to-go sauces. Again, major disappointment. read more

But the kids didn't want burgers so we went it. The place was clean-ish, not bad, but could be better. Soon after we got their, a staff person did the cleanup rounds, which made things better. Just going to be honest, if you want good customer service, fresh delicious chicken and rice go to the chicken kitchen in country club.
