I always enjoyed the subs and make them a regular stop. In addition to the subs, they have salads and brownies and cookies for dessert. The combos come with drinks and a bag of chips plus they have a great dill pickle! Service is pretty good but menus meals take a little bit more that you regularly fast food restaurants to make. Combos meals add up north of 20 bucks read more

I haven't been to this location in years and today I decided to go back and really quickly I remember why I stopped coming here. I placed an order online at 12:10. I have a 30 minute lunch and I went to pick up my order and it wasn't ready. I waited until 12:39 and by order wasn't even ready. I asked for a refund and the guy Gianni didn't even apologized for it. A sorry for the inconvenience would have been nice but nothing. The girl that makes the sandwiches has a face like she doesn't even want to be there. I got back to work with no food and will have to wait till I get out in 4 hours to go get me something to eat. Thanks a lot firehouse subs. Never again. read more

Firehouse Subs - Hook & Ladder - Delis Near Me - Pembroke Pines, Florida

I've ordered from this location a number of times now. They are consistent with the quality and quantity of food. I always mobile order for asap and the food is almost always ready by the promised time. Have never had an incorrect order. I like the regular deals and reward system. I've only ever experienced two real issues. Once when they had a crazy 50% off promotion going on and they were super backed up and I didn't get my order until about 30 minutes after the promised time. I don't blame the workers for this as the mere two of them were clearly doing their best. And it was such a good deal. Another time, I ordered a bit in advance and I think my order was made right away, so it was very cold. Lesson learned and I don't order until I am ready to eat. read more

What can I say about Firehouse Subs other than how amazing their subs are! Anytime I come to this location I am greeted with a friendly face in the warm welcome, even if it is behind a mask because of the virus going around. I always order the meatball sub, small, because even the small size is insanely filling and huge! The meatballs are always tender and seasoned to perfection and the cheese that they put on the sub is always melted perfectly when they hand it to me. The prices at Firehouse Subs are little more than the typical sub Place, such as Subway, but it's totally understandable because of the food and quality of the food that you are getting it is always standard quality in my opinion and so much more flavorful and then other sub places. read more

Firehouse subs is just a subway prime. The differences is there are more options and hot sauces to choose from. It was originally founded by fireman and the hot sauce variety really portrays that concept cuz it's make your subs on fire mannnn. Inside you will see displays of water hoses, firefighter uniforms, and the bathrooms even say fireman and fire woman. So if you ever wanted to be a fire fighter just for a day all you have to do is come here and you'll feel like home. Most subs have a pun about firefighting. Today I got the hook and ladder which is smoked turkey breast and honey ham with the "fully involved" which is lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. It was not bad. Super fresh in every bite. Pickle kinda small tho... I say it's a little better than subway but not better than Publix subs. Subs range from sizes small, medium and large. So you can order what best meets your appetite. Next I'm aiming for the philly cheese steak. Gonna be so much fire..... so get the hoses ready;) read more

This is always good and 4 stars is as high as I could go for a chain unless it's like homemade. Philly native and I recommend.

I stop by yesterday to get a firehouse sub. After going home and I realize they cut a whole tomato half to put on each side and One piece of onion. Also notice that the meat was less. I don't know why there doing this. But they lost me as a customer. read more

A nice break from a standard cold sub place with a little more nuanced character than most sub shops. For the most part, Jimmy John's is my goto sub shop. Firehouse mixes in the hot subs though, and I would say that is their specialty. When I want something of the hot variety, I find myself here. The parking situation at Firehouse is a little cramped. It is in a small parking lot shared with a few other places. Sometimes it is almost better to park a little ways away and just walk over. The location is about the size of a subway. They have 10+ tables inside. As far as drinks go, they have a Coke Freestyle machine, which I really enjoy. Mixing the flavors, trying new things, and having free refills without having to go back to the counter are big plusses for me. All of the sandwiches have fireman themes, so that's kind of fun. Supposedly it is started by firemen, but I don't know how that matters other than playing into the marketing. As far as the actual food goes, it is priced well and filling. The sandwiches are made to order, and come out hot. I have enjoyed everything I have tried here. The combo meals come with chips, and they have a large selection there as well. If a chain sub shop with a fun theme as good food at a solid price is your jam, check out Firehouse. You'll have a full belly from lunch and will be ready to put out all those TPS report fires you will encounter for the remainder of the afternoon. read more

We ordered our meal threw Uber eats...wow talk about deceiving advertising. Two of us order sandwiches, these $7 sandwiches were 2 inches long, two inches!!! Of course part of our was missing and when we called back to Firehouse we were told we have to come and pick it up by the register girl. We finally get the "manager" on the phone and he accused us of being belligerent, he was rude and certainly trying to defuse the situation. Needs less to say customer service hotline was called and money reimbursed. Absolutely not acceptable, needless to say we will never order from the place again, customer service was sub-par and not accepted. read more

It's Sunday. I ordered a tuna sub at 1:51pm to go. 20 minutes later, I still do not have my sub. I have watched them send out countless Uber Eats orders, most of which sit on the counter for a while before they are picked up. The establishment needs to provide better service to customers standing right in front of their faces. read more

Terrible, terrible, and even more terrible service. The workers treat this place likes it's their hangout, they don't even look the customer in the eyes, and when they do they basically ignore you. No one cares about their job here and it shows in their prep and making of the food. The food itself is okay, but it is absolutely not worth the terrible experience of stepping foot in this forever dirty and careless restaurant. Get a manager in there and make the workers actually work. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Delicious subs. I get the Engineer sandwich, it's always great. The bread is always soft, and the sandwich is always warm. It's best to eat it there so you can experience the warmth of the sandwich. I recommend this place to friends read more

I am obviously a sub fan. I love the simplicity of ordering here because when you ask for it fully involved it is delicious. Fully Involved means it comes with mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a pickle on the side. The sandwiches are hoagie style. Their cookies are soft and delectable. They have a wide selection of chips. The bread is fresh and the sandwich comes with enough meat. These are some of the tastiest subs I've had. Also, by downloading their app I am able to order and pay ahead so that when I arrive I just have to pickup my meal. It's so convenient. Make sure that if you're part of their rewards system you put in your number at checkout in store so that you can get points. The points have gotten me a sub or two in the last year. read more

I can't believe there are human beings that think Firehouse Subs are mediocre and not tasty! I'm literally mind blowned right now! Well I've been a fan of firehouse before they ever made their way down to south florida. Stationed at Patrick AFB back in 2006, I had the privilege to try these subs. I tried the hook and ladder; I was immediately hooked pun intended. To my dismay I did my time and got discharged in 2008 and came back to south florida. Where I was sure to miss me some Firehouse. I guess the franchise restaurant knew I needed it down here and decided to open up shop everywhere. Finally they opened this one right by my house and I can rest easily at night knowing that whenever I get the itch, firehouse will be there to scratch it. Best subs hook and ladder and the Italian. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose. read more

Ok, I gave it four stars for the free sub that I got for my birthday today. Other than that, I'm very annoyed that I was questioned as to whether it was my real birthday or not, solely because i knew one of the employees there. Other than that, the Italian sub was very good. read more

Was overcharged for simple order and staff wouldn't make it right. They said they can't control the price on the wall being different from what is in the computer. Not their problem... Eventually they directed me all the way up to the franchise owner, whom I had to call probably on his time off. Although this resolved the issue. None the less, empower your people as it was an awful waste of time and emotion over a simple sandwich. Better service guys... read more

I was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews. I had the turkey sub to go and it came in a nice to go cardboard box. Turkey was fresh and they followed my picky ordering instructions. I like the soda machine that lets you mix flavors. My only problem here was that the service was super slow. When I walked in there was only one person in front of me. When they were handing out the food I realized that they were serving people who looked to be sitting there for quite some time. They also sounded confused amongst each other. I like what other sub shops do better being how they make the sub in front of you as you wait unlike here where they take your order and then make it and you pray it's right. All in all I will give it another try as long as I have the time to wait. read more

I ate the "fully involved" Italian with jalapenos and black pepper om wheat bread. Just like a nice deli, fresh bread and meat layered and sauced. The staff politely greets you as you enter. One of the best things about this place is the hot sauce varieties offered and fresh deli meats. The tables remind me of cows, but the rest of the firehouse decor is really neat. They even have tiny fire helmets for the kiddos. read more

One of the great things about Firehouse subs is that they are consistently good wherever you go. It seems that this location is still getting its bearing so they can sometimes be a bit slow in the service. The sandwiches are very filling and they have a massive drink selection so you will not leave disappointed. read more

I love firehouse subs, but I just came in there at 700pm, no line, waited 20+ minutes for a sub, got to my destination, and its not what I ordered. I don't know if the girl pressed the wrong number or not, but she didn't even confirm our order to make sure she had it right. On top of that, this Turkey sub ia drowned in extra extra mayo. Ugh! Where is my steak and cheese with hot peppers you crazy teenagers?! It took so long i thought they were making bbq dinners from scratch back there. Please get an adult in here on Saturday nights asap! Summary: firehouse subs, is a clean place to have a great sub at (sometimes salads). The company has good morals and cares ONLY about the customers, yup just the customers. The staff are friendly and willing to serve the customer for anything. The prices are high but it makes up for the quality, and the catering is fantastic. Overall, this is a great place to eat aside from the lettuce and salads, great vibes in here. Not sure if working there is good, as is any other fast food place. The dining room, kept clean for the most part, it's understandable if it's not as clean as perfect. Some people don't know how to eat properly. But it's maintained unlike most fast food places. The restrooms, just like the dining room, it is well maintained, sometimes the soap and sanitizing pumps are malfunctioning however. The staff, I can tell they don't want to be here, probably because of their pay. Just a guess. Even though I can tell this, they still provide excellent customer service. While eating here a few times I've seen the most ridiculous customer requests and they jump on it without hesitation, I give them credit for that. The food, taste amazing and for the most part fresh. They aren't sloppy when wrapping subs or delivering it to the tables like subway. Even some of their frozen product isn't bad. They have a lot of hot sauce choices which is great. The salads (and lettuce) need work, it's either too watery or too old. The catering, very on point and timing is great. The prices, it's a bit high don't be expecting to get something cheap, even the price of the cookies are odd. But for the quality, I suppose it's fine. The company, this is a respectable company who really cares about their customers. That's right I just said customers. JUST THE CUSTOMERS. They have their own foundation for local fire departments and probably law enforcement to, which is fantastic. They don't cheat their customers. Their advertising and promotions could be better, and hopefully they do good in the future. read more

I have ordered at this location before and always order the same thing... a small meatball sub with mayo and black olives. I went there tonight and asked for my usual. The register attendant said they don't put mayo on that sub and can only give me the mayo on the side. When I stated that I've asked for it like that plenty of times with no problems she just looked at me with no response. Then when the food was delivered to our table, they didn't bring the mayo at all but instead brought the black olives on the side. Which no biggie, easy fix, but the kicker to this whole situation was my small sub was smaller than my son's kid sub. Literally 3 inches at the most with a whopping total of 2 meatballs. I guess because when their customers come 45 minutes before closing time, the employees stop caring about quality. Ohh well... I'll just go to another sandwich shop near by that never complains about customizing a sandwich with 2 additional toppings more than how "they normally make it". read more

I went there twice already the first time to eat in and the second I have order their tray for a party. The place is very clean and the people are very friendly.
