I've ordered from this location a number of times now. They are consistent with the quality and quantity of food. I always mobile order for asap and the food is almost always ready by the promised time. Have never had an incorrect order. I like the regular deals and reward system. I've only ever experienced two real issues. Once when they had a crazy 50% off promotion going on and they were super backed up and I didn't get my order until about 30 minutes after the promised time. I don't blame the workers for this as the mere two of them were clearly doing their best. And it was such a good deal. I have a 30 minute lunch and I went to pick up my order and it wasn't ready. I waited until 12:39 and by order wasn't even ready. What can I say about Firehouse Subs other than how amazing their subs are! Anytime I come to this location I am greeted with a friendly face in the warm welcome, even if it is behind a mask because of the virus going around. I always order the meatball sub, small, because even the small size is insanely filling and huge! The meatballs are always tender and seasoned to perfection and the cheese that they put on the sub is always melted perfectly when they hand it to me. Firehouse subs is just a subway prime. The differences is there are more options and hot sauces to choose from. It was originally founded by fireman and the hot sauce variety really portrays that concept cuz it's make your subs on fire mannnn. Inside you will see displays of water hoses, firefighter uniforms, and the bathrooms even say fireman and fire woman. So if you ever wanted to be a fire fighter just for a day all you have to do is come here and you'll feel like home. Most subs have a pun about firefighting. Today I got the hook and ladder which is smoked turkey breast and honey ham with the "fully involved" which is lettuce,tomato, onion and pickle. It was not bad. Super fresh in every bite. Pickle kinda small tho... I say it's a little better than subway but not better than Publix subs. Subs range from sizes small, medium and large. So you can order what best meets your appetite. A nice break from a standard cold sub place with a little more nuanced character than most sub shops. For the most part, Jimmy John's is my goto sub shop. Firehouse mixes in the hot subs though, and I would say that is their specialty. When I want something of the hot variety, I find myself here. The parking situation at Firehouse is a little cramped. It is in a small parking lot shared with a few other places. Sometimes it is almost better to park a little ways away and just walk over. The location is about the size of a subway. They have 10+ tables inside. As far as drinks go, they have a Coke Freestyle machine, which I really enjoy. Mixing the flavors, trying new things, and having free refills without having to go back to the counter are big plusses for me. All of the sandwiches have fireman themes, so that's kind of fun. Supposedly it is started by firemen, but I don't know how that matters other than playing into the marketing. As far as the actual food goes, it is priced well and filling. The sandwiches are made to order, and come out hot. I have enjoyed everything I have tried here. The combo meals come with chips, and they have a large selection there as well. If a chain sub shop with a fun theme as good food at a solid price is your jam, check out Firehouse. Terrible, terrible, and even more terrible service. The workers treat this place likes it's their hangout, they don't even look the customer in the eyes, and when they do they basically ignore you. No one cares about their job here and it shows in their prep and making of the food. The food itself is okay, but it is absolutely not worth the terrible experience of stepping foot in this forever dirty and careless restaurant. Fully Involved means it comes with mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a pickle on the side. The sandwiches are hoagie style. Their cookies are soft and delectable. They have a wide selection of chips. The bread is fresh and the sandwich comes with enough meat. These are some of the tastiest subs I've had. Also, by downloading their app I am able to order and pay ahead so that when I arrive I just have to pickup my meal. It's so convenient. Well I've been a fan of firehouse before they ever made their way down to south florida. Stationed at Patrick AFB back in 2006, I had the privilege to try these subs. I tried the hook and ladder; I was immediately hooked pun intended. To my dismay I did my time and got discharged in 2008 and came back to south florida. Where I was sure to miss me some Firehouse. I guess the franchise restaurant knew I needed it down here and decided to open up shop everywhere. I was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews. I had the turkey sub to go and it came in a nice to go cardboard box. Turkey was fresh and they followed my picky ordering instructions. I like the soda machine that lets you mix flavors. My only problem here was that the service was super slow. When I walked in there was only one person in front of me. When they were handing out the food I realized that they were serving people who looked to be sitting there for quite some time. They also sounded confused amongst each other. I like what other sub shops do better being how they make the sub in front of you as you wait unlike here where they take your order and then make it and you pray it's right. I have ordered from here about ten times since we moved into the neighborhood. Uber eats delivers in less than thirty minutes and the food at this location is so good. Summary: firehouse subs, is a clean place to have a great sub at (sometimes salads). The company has good morals and cares ONLY about the customers, yup just the customers. The staff are friendly and willing to serve the customer for anything. The prices are high but it makes up for the quality, and the catering is fantastic. Overall, this is a great place to eat aside from the lettuce and salads, great vibes in here. Not sure if working there is good, as is any other fast food place. The dining room, kept clean for the most part, it's understandable if it's not as clean as perfect. Some people don't know how to eat properly. But it's maintained unlike most fast food places. The restrooms, just like the dining room, it is well maintained, sometimes the soap and sanitizing pumps are malfunctioning however. The staff, I can tell they don't want to be here, probably because of their pay. Just a guess. Even though I can tell this, they still provide excellent customer service. While eating here a few times I've seen the most ridiculous customer requests and they jump on it without hesitation, I give them credit for that. The food, taste amazing and for the most part fresh. They aren't sloppy when wrapping subs or delivering it to the tables like subway. Even some of their frozen product isn't bad. They have a lot of hot sauce choices which is great. The salads (and lettuce) need work, it's either too watery or too old. The catering, very on point and timing is great. The prices, it's a bit high don't be expecting to get something cheap, even the price of the cookies are odd. But for the quality, I suppose it's fine. The company, this is a respectable company who really cares about their customers. That's right I just said customers. JUST THE CUSTOMERS. I have ordered at this location before and always order the same thing... a small meatball sub with mayo and black olives. I went there tonight and asked for my usual. The register attendant said they don't put mayo on that sub and can only give me the mayo on the side. When I stated that I've asked for it like that plenty of times with no problems she just looked at me with no response. Then when the food was delivered to our table, they didn't bring the mayo at all but instead brought the black olives on the side. Which no biggie, easy fix, but the kicker to this whole situation was my small sub was smaller than my son's kid sub. Literally 3 inches at the most with a whopping total of 2 meatballs. I guess because when their customers come 45 minutes before closing time, the employees stop caring about quality. Ohh well...
