I always have a wonderful experience this location! Today we stopped by for the Wednesday special which is a pie for $10. We opted for a regular cheese pizza which was soooo good! The sauce is so fresh and has a delicious flavor. The staff here is always so nice, and even though the restaurant can get busy sometimes, it is never too full which is nice. We always choose to sit outdoors, because they have a nice patio and partial bar outside. The music inside is pretty loud, but not too loud that you cannot have a conversation with the other people at your table. The vibe of the restaurant is definitely family friendly with a sports bar twist as thy have screens around the bar inside and outside. I love this location and will definitely be back! Just got in from a long travel day - really needed food and Anthony's came through. We ordered about 45mins before they closed (hate to do that, but was left with no choice) and my pizza was perfectly cooked. They even threw in some bread so it did not go to waste. I met my friend here for lunch. They have some new lunch specials so we decided to try them out. These run daily until 3pm. I ordered the Italian salad with a meatball sandwich. I had them include the hot peppers. You can also choose sweet. I liked my sandwich but it was not hot. Our server really didn't come around so I just ate it as is. I liked the sandwich anyhow. The Italian salad is just how I remember it. Next time I will try the Chopped salad. It looked really good. I had a small piece of my friend's chicken sandwich. This was pretty good and I am not the biggest fan of chicken. I would say the lunch special is a great value for what. you get and the high quality of the food. read more

Well, my visit wasn't outstanding. The service was. The service was on point and I wish I got outer server's name. I tried their Buffalo wings. I didn't even know they offered these. I thought it was just the oniony ones. Anyway, these are ok. A couple wings were big. A couple were small. The foccacia bread didn'thave much flavor but the bleu cheese made up for that. The Buffalo sauce was not bad but had something in it I didn't love. It was a little odd to my tastebuds. We ordered a large pizza as well. This was disappointing. I love, love their sauce. But it is like just a few splotches on there. The cheese is not my favorite cheese out there. And I didn't even eat the crust and I pretty much always do. It was too doughy. The pizza used to be more thin crust. This is super thick. I know this company has changed hands and it just isn't the same. I will eat at the Pines one again but doubt I will ever order pizza again at any Anthony's. In general, I love their salads, garlic knots and even their meatballs are pretty good. read more

Decided to come here while visiting some family in the area. I usually love Anthony's but this time something felt off. The salad with Gorgonzola is typically one of my favorites, but this time the dressing was extremely watered down. This left a beautiful salad tasting like nothing. The pizza was over cheeses for the size of the crust which didn't give it that famous Anthony's crunch. The server was extremely nice but was also new so I think our party of 7 was a bit overwhelming. Even though it was pretty empty when we went, all of our food came out scattered (maybe because we opted for 2 checks)?! Overall we had a nice dinner but it just wasn't the same Anthony's experience I'm used to. Hopefully this changes by my next visit! read more

Minus 5 stars! Walked in and sat ourselves since no one would give us the time of day. Waited a little bit for the sweetest waitress. Ordered a Caesar -with stale croutons. Waited for a pizza while the entire restaurant, everyone before and after us, was served dinner and one of the people on our party had been served a sandwich that took 45 minutes to make. They clearly forgot about our order, even the sweet waitress. We had forgotten why we stopped coming to this location. Service is HORRENDOUS. Save yourself the aggravation. It's not the best pizza in town and it's the worst, time after time, for service hands down. Oh, we left without having dinner and after the most extremely lame explanation ever heard from the kitchen manager -after he complained about us not taking a pizza after an hour and after everyone had been served their pizza. A week after my review, a representative of the business posted a message. FYI - I followed their request. Got wings as usual the blue cheese was not even a tablespoon. One big chunk of cheese nothing to dip your wings into a drop. Extra salad dressing same quarter full container. Your food quantity and quality has gone to ----. Anthony's is no longer worth the money at all. We have no problem paying for food. Anthony's used to be a go-to for good, thin, well done pizza. Unfortunately, tonight this wasn't the case. This pizza that we received looked like it was put together by someone who didn't care about the final product. It was missing areas of cheese, it was over-sauced, random piles of pepperoni scattered on one half, and the pizza was definitely not well done and was very doughy, greasy, and slightly undercooked for Anthony's standard. I rather go to another mom and pop pizza place close by instead of giving my money to something like this. It's a shame that a pizza spot that was once so good and consistent has come to this. We couldn't finish our pizza because there was just no desire to continue eating what was in this picture. I had heard so many great things about Anthony's. I ordered a 10 inch square pizza Margherita. It was to be the first thing I wanted to eat after a stomach virus. When I got the pizza and opened the box, it was far from being 10 inches square and was oval shaped with only one position barely measuring 10 inches. The ends were six inches. It had no flavor and the crust was thin and soggy. I was told by restaurant staff that corporate had instructed them to make the square pizza's round. Worse than the shape was the lack of flavor. The service was amazing. Everyone was really nice and greeted us right away. We got refills on our drinks before even having to ask. The restaurant is big and can accommodate a large party. The food was good but nothing particularly exciting. The pepperoni pizza was good and had a nice thin crust. I like overdressed salads and their Caesar salad was definitely overdressed. Nothing better than coal fired pizza, Anthony's always does a great job for us. I usually request the lightly bake option as we don't like the blackened crust thing and they almost always pay attention to our order notes (we order online for takeout like 99% of the time with then. I came into this Anthony's Cole Fired Pizza one day recently with some coworkers. The location was pretty quiet for lunch and it was a big group of us so they were able to easily accommodate the group. Immediately our server came over to take our drink orders and asked if we had any questions. She went over the menu with us and told us about the specials and asked if we were ready to order. Since it was a group of us we got a little bit of everything: meatballs, wings, salad, and (two) pizzas. We had the wings and salad come first then the pizza and meatballs. While we waited she checked in regularly and as soon as the salad and wings were ready, they were brought out. I love their salad because they put the cheese on the side for you so if you don't want it, you don't have to have it. Plus the salad dressing which is like a house vinaigrette is absolutely amazing. The salad is full of thick and juicy tomatoes, onions, peppers and olives. The family portion was more than enough for us. The wings are probably my favorite wings around. They are tiny because they are all natural and they are topped with the most delicious sautéed onions around. Then came the giant meatballs and pizza. The pizza is made in their wood over which isn't for everyone. The bottom does have some black portions from the fire, so if that's not your thing abort abort abort. To me, it's cooked perfectly. The density of the crust is just right where crispy and chewy meet. And don't forget about those meatballs- while it's hard to miss them because they are huge. They are easy to share and you don't need many to feed a group. The sauce is probably the best part and I definitely used the excess to dip my pizza in. This is a great lunch spot and would be perfectly fine for dinner too. The service is spot on and the food is great. Definitely a fan of Anthony's and don't see that changing anytime soon. read more

We had a wonderful experience at Anthony's night before last. Michele was our server -- she is terrific and has been there many years. We live in central Florida and visit this location when we are traveling to see our son and his wife. We are helping them move and we were exhausted and hungry. The restaurant was bustling with filled tables and we saw many pick up orders. Our pizza was perfect and served quickly. The staff was attentive and cheerful. I am not one to ever take time and write a bad review because I feel that anyone can have a bad day however this needs to be told on last Friday I placed a to go order from Anthony's Miramar - I regularly visit the Miami Lakes Location and have never had a problem . However it was my son's birthday and he lives in that area upon.Uponarriving at home with the food and serving myself I realized that the knots were actually garlic rolls that were stale / dry and old NOT KNOTS .. the chicken wings when you bit into them the bones broke in your hands .. this was old food .. something I would not feed my dog . I called them and they apologized and said they would refund me my entire check for the inconvenience at this point my son's birthday dinner was ruined . I had to get in my car and go to another restaurant thank god Flanigans was up the street although I. Had to wait an additional hour for my order the best part of the story is 1 week later the manager of this store refunds me $25 dollars to my card what a joke !! I called him and he said that was for the chicken wings and knots he did not even put tax in there - when on Friday they had said they would refund the entire check ( the right thing to do ) since they ruined a Birthday dinner and if they were customer oriented and wanted to keep a customer would have done .. the restaurant seemed not like the Miami Lakes one I will never visits that location again !! The service staff needs to have some lessons in paying attention to their tables. There was allegedly no manager in house the night we came spent 1.5 hours to get a small Ceasar salad and meatballs. I ordered from here based on my experience at the North Miami Beach location. It just wasn't the same. I had Paulie's Pie with hot peppers in North Miami and it still crosses my mind. But this Miramar location didn't have the same crispy crust, and the hot peppers weren't cooked the same; felt like a totally different pie and looked a bit lackluster. So I went with my family and ordered the special only for them to tell us they were out of spaghetti and it would take 30 min to an hour to have more spaghetti. Really? Came in for Happy Hour and was pleasantly surprised. This location is very concealed in the "Fountains of Miramar" shopping center but worth checking out, particularly for Happy Hour. Our server was great and let me sample a couple of beers before making a decision. She also allowed us to order from the Happy Hour menu despite it normally being only available at the bar, having an elderly person with me, a regular table was much more convenient. All the beers were $2 off and there were also other various drink specials during Happy Hour. They have a decent selection of craft beers available from all sorts of breweries including some local ones, such as Wynwood and Veza Sur. The Happy Hour food menu is small but great nonetheless. The 5 wings for $5 was a great deal, the wings were grilled nicely and served with a ton of grilled onions and pita bread. The meatballs were also another fantastic and delicious deal, for $4 or $5 you get two plump meatballs with ample sauce and more pita bread to soak up the sauce. $4 craft beers and $1/ per wing deals are always hard to beat!! read more
