Stopped in here tonight to be a quick and healthy bite to eat. The young man at the front counter was very helpful explain to me what my options were with the menu. I ended up getting the chopped chicken breast with two sides. It was a very generous and healthy portion. The idea of serving newly grilled chicken Breast is good . The chicken is cooked perfectly . But the tomato and lettuce are off . They have been chopped early and the taste is not sweet and crispy . I recommend to chop the tomatoes and lettuces when serving or just put a control time like 2-3 hours window after chopping them because they'll taste differently when chopped and stored for a long time . Don't get it twisted, they don't care if you eat there one time in your life, or five times a week, they will make sure your experience feels cheap and disgusting. And if she's not sure of the price, no worries, she'll just make it up and make sure it's higher than ANY other topping on the written menu (green olives). I'm not sure if they own stock in chicken kitchen or if they just get off on trying to make regulars get a cheap, uneasy experience, where you are left feeling like your meal was chincy? Instead of nearly digging through my bowl to check if the rice is brown or yellow, when I told you it's yellow, maybe clean up the drink station that has flies everywhere due to the sticky soda that hasn't been cleaned since closing the night before. Businesses, get it through your thick skulls, you take care of your regulars and they keep coming back, they keep the store busy...you treat them like shit and you lose a customer forever. It's not rocket science, it's not special treatment, it's just basic customer service and it goes a long way. All customers, but especially people who frequent your store several times a week, why not treat them great? Why not make them feel good? Why not make them feel like when they left they had a nice full satisfying meal so they want to come back again? Why count the shreds of lettuce? Why make them feel that you are looking to nickel and dime them? Thank you God, Chicken Kitchen is finally back on South Beach!! If your local Miamian you know this franchise, their first restaurant in on 57th Ave in South Miami its been there over 20 years and this small chain keeps growing and growing. Providing some of the best freshest chicken around with delicious yellow rice you know what a chop chop is when you add that curry mustard sauce and mix it all in with the rice in the chicken, it's heaven! For anyone who doesn't like this restaurant does not really understand how to make your chop chop , get the rice get the chicken add some toppings and make sure to have plenty of sauce mix it all up and you're in curry heaven. It's fast to get in get your food and get out and it's always consistent and delicious they finally opened this location on 15th and Alton definitely come by and try it! Came to eat lunch with my son only two employees working at cashier the menu says free kids drink with kids mean they give you this pouch juice which my son is allergic to so I asked for a kids cup instead to get a beverage and was refused. There was a girl named Sara or Clara who don't speak any English so when asked to speak to manager in Spanish she told me there was none and so I insisted and she pointed to a Haitian guy in blue shirt who told me he's busy .very rude poor attitude didn't care about my kids allergies don't visit I want to complaint to Corp about this location . God forbid you want to customize your order you get the side eye. The food storage looks like they barely clean it, very surprised the health inspector hasn't issued them a violation. First, I have to mention something very important for a south beach location : If you decide to go after 6pm, you will be able to park right in front! There is a decent size parking lot but make sure you park there only to go to the shops from the mall or you'll get towed away in less than 5 minutes... Make sure to get the best option from the menu as the sides are expensive but they give you a good amount, so you can also combine only sides to make a dish (like a vegetarian one for exemple...) Everything is clean, and most of the staff is nice so far except 2 employees which are kind of "lost"... I have been there a dozen of times and never been disappointed... read more

Ok so i grew up in south Kendall where chicken kitchen was life, i was extremely content when they opened this location right next to my house that i started frequenting it about 3x a week as well as recommending it to all my friends that wanted to eat real food but fast. Untill my last two visits which i witness the manager of the place wipe the glass where everyone places their hand with the same cloth they use to wipe down the counter where chicken is placed for cutting. This brings a major contamination concerns and when I brought it up to the guy making my food he said: "Hes the manager you should tell him something because i cant" If this is the kind of place where an employee cannot tell management when they are doing something that can harm its costumers then i strongly suggest that you find somewhere else to spend your money. read more

Since there's no Chipolte is Miami, this is only thing comparible. I'm leaving two reviews though, because the person working that day is going to make a huge difference in your experience. There is only one person working there that knows what he's doing. Anyone who goes here regularly knows who I'm talking about. If he serves you, you will have good food and service. If you get anyone else, prepare for terrible food and service. It is a shame the employees aren't more consistent here. I sometimes walk by and if he's not working I go somewhere else. Chicken was rubbery the bowl had no real flavor and lettuce was semi wilted. The quesadilla on the other hand was as thin as paper... I'm not sure if there was even cheese in it. This place seems very familiar to Pollo Tropical but it's so much better. It's not as crowded and it is a lot cleaner and more organized. They measure out the chicken exactly when you order but that is a good thing because one of the worst things about chicken bowl type places is that some days you go and get a little and other days you get a lot. I recently order an Asian chop chip threw Uber eats and this place gave the wrong order to by Uber deliver. I couldn't eat it because I cannot eat sour cream I'm allergic to it. When I tried calling this place to see if they could send someone with my food or do something about it, first they place me on 3 very longggg holds and when I actually got to talk to someone the girl told me "your food is here but there's nothing we can do, try contacting your Uber driver to see if he could come and pick the food again" super unfair from their end. This Chicken Kitchen is awesome! Free parking out the front which is awesome especially so close to Lincoln Road. Portions vary depending on server which is a downside but when the bowl is full it's a super yummy meal and the curry sauce is an amazing signature sauce. The brownies are underrated, I would honestly call them bakery worthy. Clean seating and nice bright environment to eat your meal in. Seating is limited though maybe only 8 tables so you might not want to come in at the busiest time. They are very strict about putting drinks other than water in the water cup and will not hesitate to call the manager out to have a word with you. read more
