Needed a fast lunch and decided to stop. Super quick ordering, decided on 4 Express Tenders combo meal ; 4 tenders, gravy , a roll with a side of french fries fries and a 32 ounce drink. They were prompt filling the order. The chicken was hot , nicely fried , with a little seasoning on it . The fries were well cooked and warm. I did not try the gravy or roll. Stopped by this location for a late night snack while traveling from San Antonio! First I will start by saying this restaurant was so clean both inside and outside. The staff was so nice even with it being so close to closing time they were patient and happy to suggest better ways to order a family size meal ! For lack of not being able to give 0 stars, this is the worse chicken Express in the United States of America. I ordered a #4 with a roll and Hi-C for my kid and got sweet tea. The lady Alexis was horrible at taking my order. When I called in to ask her name the manager Francisco said he couldn't give out that info. The chicken is always good. Since it's curbside or drive thru only, they get a little backed up. However, my biggest complaint is each time I have ordered an extra side, they keep forgetting it and I have to go back for it. This has happened the past 3 visits. They have no explanation other than an apology. No offer of a free side, no discount or anything. I'll go back, but from now on, I'll make sure I have everything before the server leaves the car to go back in. I'll make sure they check it before I leave. Maybe that will train them to make sure the order is correct before giving it to the customer. read more

I had the #1 combo: 4 chicken tenders, fries, a biscuit, gravy, and a sweet tea. I didn't touch the gravy; not a fan of gravy. The tea was just tea, nothing remarkable, but tasty. The fries were great. The chicken was OUTSTANDING!!! You know the fried chicken commercials on TV? When the people bite into the chicken, it makes that crispy/crunchy sound that you have never been witness to in real life? Well this chicken actually did that for real! Crispy, crunchy, perfection!!!!! After the chicken and fries, I didn't think I wanted the biscuit. Well, maybe just a bite. Ohmigosh! It was the lightest, fluffiest, bestest biscuit I have ever had in any restaurant, anywhere in my entire life!
