Starting on the good notes! The cashier was very nice, sweet and helpful. She was very quick and offered an actual response when I asked what she thought of their biscuits, which were excellent incidentally. Soft and fluffy, and very good with the honey sauce they carry. The mashed potatoes were good also. Now on to the negatives, sorry. The chicken was overbreaded, severely. It also must have been anorexic and dehydrated! Also, I love fried pickles, but they breaded them to death as well! read more

I placed my order and they said it was a 6-8 minutes wait for the liver. I waited 40 minutes and the order was wrong. Tried to make me pay for up charges after I waited and they got my order wrong. Stingy with the seasoned salt read more

The food is never fresh, even when you specifically ask and wait for it to be cooked fresh. The sweet tea tastes like they ran out of sugar, and the portions definitely don't match the price. Customer service is terrible, and the GM doesn't seem to hold the employees accountable, so don't expect much help there. If you're craving Chicken Express, I'd strongly suggest making the trip to Mesquite instead. read more

Visiting my daughter here and aw this place. They said oh it is good. Got the 4 piece with fried okra and mash potatoes. Best fried okra I have had in so long. The gravy was also amazing. Dipping the chicken in it was so good. I'd recommend this place and will visit again in the future. read more

Awful service. MyHusband ordered gizzards and they gave him livers. I went back to get it straightened out and they gave him a box of gizzards instead of fixing order again Fresh. I asked for a roll and they had the Balls to charge me. The manager was 17. Very Rude and the cashier was Rude. You'd rather get a Bad review instead of a satisfied customer. Now he has gizzards with cold sides . Thanks. We will Never be Back Ever. read more

Chicken Express - Gizzards - Fast Food Near Me - Seagoville, Texas

Place looked clean. A few people in drive thru. One family in front of me ordering. I ordered the 2 fillet dinner with okra and coleslaw. I was told there would be a 7-10 minute wait. After 15 minutes, I went to check on the order, 5 mins later I get my food. There was grease sitting on the bottom of the box. The hush puppies were raw in the center. Okra was super greasy. The fish tasted like it was cooked in burnt grease. Tasted horrible. I will never go back. read more

always a great place to start on my way home from work! Great food, great sides, and awesome Tea!! call three of my boys love it and would eat there every night if they could. Our youngest son likes to save his biscuits in the leftover gravy for breakfast the day after! read more

Waited 30 mins for my food!!!!!! This is nonsense for the wait in line for a drive thru fast food restaurant

The FILTHIEST bathroom I have ever seen. It has not been touched since the start of the pandemic. Nastiness all over the seat, in the bowl, the toilet doesn't flush, there's MOLD on the sink, and no soap. More than enough to deter this potential customer. How can you run a food restaurant with disgusting facilities? read more

It's the best Chicken Express around and has been for years. They care about QSC - Quality, Service and Cleanliness!

This place had been my favorite for years, yes the wait was a little harsh but you would get fresh chicken and that's what I want fresh chicken. Today I decided we would go get chicken- staff was very rude and the chicken was DRY LITERALLY DRY I DIDNT GO BACK BECAUSE I LIVE OFF MILITARY WAS JUST IN THE AREA FOR THE CHICKEN. Long story short I paid $70 dollars and got nothing fresh out of it, and that lady with the heart rhythm tattoo you are very rude and that's not the way to treat customers there or anywhere else you're paid to attend it's not your business you're just another monkey in the zoo. Other than that I will never spend anything on this place again! read more

This is the worst chicken express I have ever been too and I never have high expectations for this establishment. The girl on the cash register (TreNeesha) forgot to give us our sweet tea and our Mac and cheese was ice cold, which wasn't a big deal until she just ignored us for 10 minutes. She was too busy fixing her hair in the reflection of the refrigerator mirror. Then when she finally opened the drive-thru window, we told her about the Mac and cheese and she laughed and then handed us another cold Mac and cheese. If you are going to have a group of immature high school kids working, at least have a manager present. read more

We went there on a weeknight at 9pm. They were already mopping floors and closing off the lobby. It reeked of strong cleaner that we could hardly eat our food. Mind you we had 2 small kids who were inhaling this too. It was 9:30 and a rude worker came out and said we had to be out by 10 pm and to basically speed it up. They acted like they were cleaning for a health inspection. Never going here again. Rude to paying customers! If you don't like working at Chicken Express, find you another job! To top it off we waited 15 minutes for food that still came out cold! Yeah and we were told we had to be out by 10pm. read more

Great quality chicken for a fast food place. Fried pickles are great and prices are cheap. It's fast food for sure, but for fast food it isn't bad. read more

Im not a Chicken Express fan. But this one not only had the best FOOD Ive ever had at a Chicken Express, but the girl that took my order, in store, was one of the most well mannered individuals Ive met in a long time. I made sure to thank her for her courtesy. World needs more people like her. THANK YOU!!! read more

Tonight at 7:29 pm, I ordered 18 gizzards after working a 13 hour day. I sat for 25 minutes waiting for the "5 minute wait." As an RN, I am sensitive about people washing their hands. In 25 minutes, No one, NO ONE, washed their hands. They handled money, the door, your order, the rolls, the drinks, their hair (yep, repeatedly scratched the top of their heads), and everything else, but not one person, cooks, or wait staff, washed their hands. So, when the biscuits were the first to get thrown away, it revealed my 18 gizzards was actually 8 broken up gizzards covered by a roll. This place needs to close up, terrible representation of Chicken Express. read more

My family and I chose this restaurant so we could quickly get home. I ordered at 7:28pm. It is currently 7:57pm and I still have not recieved our order. They have taken orders out to eight vehicles behind me over a twenty minute span. The cashier told me 20 minutes ago that they were waiting on the spicy strips. Ten minutes later a second employee told me they had yet to drop the spicy that it would take another seven minutes. When speaking with the manager I received no apology or refund only a free gallon of tea or 6 rolls!! It is now 8pm and I still do not have my order. This is the worst customer service and most blatant disrespect of my time. I will not offer them my business in the future. read more

Fast Food and Courtesy are sadly lacking here. I drove in today and ordered fish. Yes, I get that it is a primarily a chicken place. Not only did I have to wait in the drive-thru for 25 minutes, when I said I wanted some additional tartar sauce since I had been waiting so long, one of the employees said to me that I needed to ask her for additional instead of saying I wanted something extra since I had waited so long. I explained to her that I saw her eating food out of one of the holding trays. She responded, "it's my food." I informed her that I intend to report her to the health department. She wasn't too thrilled with me as a customer. But I understand, she probably has to put up all the time with hungry, unreasonable people like me. And, no one bothered to tell me that it would take longer to get fish when I placed my order, just in case you're wondering. read more

This place is trashy! Food is always cold. And mashed potatoes taste funny! I have complained before to the manager about it... 1 week later same food.... And always a little boy and girl making out! I have been in 4 times and seen them making out! I will take my business else where! read more

7. 7 is the number of fried pickles you get for a regular size. 2.99 / 7 = 0.43 cents a pickle slice. Is there gold chips in them? 11. 11 is the number of corn nuggets you get on a family size. 3.99 / 11 = 0.36 cents a nugget. Wow. All I can say is wow. read more

There is a sweet red headed lady who works at the counter, she always greets us with a smile and makes nice conversation. This place wouldn't be the same without her she is the glue of it all. She's always so warm and inviting, and treats her customers like she's known them for years. She's the reason we come back to this location. Keep up the great work!! :) read more

I go there often for the tea. Although the staff consistently seems annoyed and bothered to have to serve the customers. If you say anything about them getting your order wrong.. It is as if i am Satan. They are so rude. They need to do some serious revamp or customer service training to the employees. read more

"Restaurant" is under construction, order board at drive thru is difficult to find. Sorry, my fault for not seeing it. However when I pull up to the window, there's no reason to shout "YOU HAVE TO ORDER AT THE BOARD" then slam the window. Never returning, take care read more

I honestly just stopped here on a recent road trip for a restroom break. The restrooms are nice & well-maintained. This has never been my first choice to get food, since the menu doesn't offer a lot of vegetarian-friendly options. Love the chicken tenders! The wait time is a little crazy sometimes though.

This freaking place sucks! I waited at the window for 15 min for some gizzards and then the manager comes out and says she's sorry but the guy at the fryer never dropped the gizzards so it would be another 5 min. I was there for 20 damn minutes!!! For 9 gizzards?? You have one job!!! It looks like a bunch of damn kids working there too, so annoying!! read more

I love this chicken express! It seems like they got a new guy working the drive thru and he is so nice! Always ask me if I need anything else and tells me to have a good day, with a smile! VERY BAD SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Store manager said she would correct our order, when they got wrong the first time. THEY GOT IT WRONG AGAIN and we have to borrow a friends car to go the 5 miles there and 5 miles back, This is the 3RD time. I WILL NEVER GO TO SEAGOVILLE AGAIN, I WILL TAKE MY BUISNESS TO TERRELL OR KAUFMAN. Never to Seagoville again, when I pay for 12 chicken tenders and 2 sides, the first time ya'll gave me 1^ a half inch tenders. And not all of them then, we bring it back and then ya'll take out both of our sides and then still can't count to 12 for the tenders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
