To begin with, my Mom loves livers and gizzards. She can't get out much, and we've had bad problems with going places and getting dried, rock hard livers and gizzards. So, I came in to the location on Nall St in what I think was Port Neches, Tx with a list that included Mom's request for fresh livers and gizzards, absolutely fresh, and to wait for them. I waited admittedly longer than I'd like, but the staff was aware and accommodating, and even offered me a drink while I waited. It was worth it when Mom opened her livers and gizzards, and not only were they fresh, but the napkins in the box were covered in grease... just like Mom envisioned. Food is good, but the service was terrible. Seems like they were understaffed and the employees were arguing with each other.

They forgot our drinks in the drive thru, and had to go inside to get them no big deal. But when I get home and my food is already cold and they charge me for bbq sauce but don't give me any. And when I try to call and complain to manager he is very un cooperative and just does not seem to care about his job at all. Always eat lunch here they have a great 5 dollar special! Great food and fast service! Always a good choice. The sweet tea is super sweet and if you do have unsweet and half sweet it comes out perfect. If I have to eat fast food this is usually my number one choice read more

Pretty sure the Hot Seasoning Salt is the only I go back. Was rather disappointed yesterday with the chicken strips... WAY TOO THICK! I know hard to believe. I'm not complaining about the amount of food, that's why I get the 7 strips. The strips were so think I tore each piece apart to ensure thorough cooking. Decent tasting chicken strips at a decent price. Sometimes really slow service, but all in all its OK. Gravy is good and corn nuggets sides are great. Don't bother with the corn on the cob it's nasty. Fried fish us also pretty good. Right up there with Cane's. read more

In a moment of abdicating good sense, I got a 7 "tenders" meal. Normally I try to eat healthful foods and don't know why I gave in to insanity and did this. Of my 7 "tenders" 4 had chunks of very unpalatable gristle and were basically inedible. I don't know why people are given this place low ratings because I live here in Cajun country and we got great food but this was pretty darn good for the fried catfish which was one of the best I've ever had! It wasn't greasy and had a tender and flavorful taste to it! The fried chicken was excellent the coleslaw was superb the rolls were great, and I loved the roomie front counter to order! Great staff too! I wish they would build this one in Thibodaux La., but I'm afraid it will be ran out by all the delicious Cajun seasoned chicken places here. If I'm back in Port Neches or even Bridge city I will definitely be returning here! This is the worst chicken in the area. I watched them put frozen chicken straight from the freezer into the fryer. The chicken has no taste, thats why they give you seasoning packets. It is so greasy and tough my dog won't eat it. Pass them up and go somewhere else. read more
