This was a disappointing experience I ordered the #1 and a snack pack. What's shown in the picture is the #1 I ordered. These chicken tenders weren't even tenders they were literally nuggets. I'm not one to complain but when I paid $12 for one item and I get these it was honestly very saddening. Out of the 6 tenders only one was a decent size. The customer service was fine, and the taste was good but the portions were very very small which was quite the disappointment.

It was a beautiful Spring day on a Saturday. My cousin was in the mood for his favorite, Chicken Express. We decided to head that way right at lunch time. We discovered an empty parking lot and an empty restaurant. Service was laid back with satisfactory food. Let me express myself. A light skinned black girl with pretty eyes and braids, took our order. My cuz and I messed up while ordering and she was very patient with us. Of course, I apologized on my behalf. Employees where just chilling and hangout in the kitchen. The order taker forgot to give us our drinks and went to check something in the kitchen so, it took a little bit, before I got my cup. I needed my drink right away bc, I was hangry. I wasn't sure how long the wait would be either. Lol. They have their own swagger about doing things and it's not express. Lol. She gave my cup to me. Unfortunately, I did not see the Tea fountain. Silly old me. Smh. It was my first time at this location. I asked her for some Sweet Tea. She ended up getting the Tea from behind the counter. I'm so glad she did. It was super sweet! Just the way, I like it! My cuz and I were the only ones in the restaurant. It was spacious and clean in there. I had just enough time to scope the scene out. Then my food arrived hot and fresh. My Chicken Strips were crispy, crunchy, and sticky? They were overcooked. This made them dry and stringy. The Chicken was sticking to my teeth. I had to ask myself, is it time for my six month teeth cleaning? Lol... My gravy was bland. However, my Corn Nuggets were impressive! It was a mixture of sweet Cream of Corn with regular Corn fried in batter. My roll was super sweet and had be craving it the next day. Let me catch you up on some things, it's not crowded during lunch, it's clean, service was good but, chill and food was satisfactory with a need of improvement. Lol. I sound like a teacher, making a comment on your report card regarding your behavior.

    Two receipt

I am deaf. I write the note for order. That's different three foods. I showed him a note that I ordered and bought it. Then, I checked the receipt, but just two foods. I told him where one missed food. He said the same way. I said no. Get another number 1 again. He said again. I was very mad and tried to explain to him. I said another #1 and no spicy. I another bought it. Finally I got all the food. Went to home and ready to eat. But my food is spicy. He is the worst service. He must carefully read!

Been a while since I've eaten here. The food was excellent and the customer service was even better. The food was out only a few minutes after ordering. I'll definitely eat here again soon.

Loved it. We'd been…read moreto the Memphis, TN location about 10 years ago and enjoyed it. Now that we live in the DFW area, it was time to try the Fort Worth location. They are located on a corner and parking is limited. I found street parking on the side street, about a block down in front of a house. We walked inside Gus's about 11:30 am on a Wednesday. They were busy' but had a number of open tables. There are mostly square and rectangular 4-top tables. We chose one by the front windows. A moment after we sat down, our server, Joe K came by to greet us and he took our drink order. Menu's are at the table, so we studied a bit and were ready for Joe when he brought our drinks. I ordered: - Unsweetened Iced Tea - 3 Piece Dark Chicken Plate (my choice: leg, leg, thigh) with Greens and BBQ Beans My wife ordered: 2 Piece White Chicken Plate (breast, wing) with Mac-Cheese and BBQ Beans The chicken was the star for sure. The BBQ Beans weren't special but were decent. The Greens, decent. With each meal plate, the chicken is served on a slice of white bread. The chicken was fried to a deep brown and was real tasty. My dark meat was juicy and tender. My wife's white meat was drier but normal for white meat. My wife's felt the chicken skin was maybe overcooked as it was tough. It was fine to me. I ate her skin :) We'll be back to Gus's!

I'll start by saying that these are the best fries I've ever had. I am obsessed with fries. They are in my top 3 foods if I could only eat three things the rest of my life. So you know I've eaten my fair share of fries. And these are THE best I've had. Thin, but not too thin, perfect amount of crispness, and the seasoning...so good! Must try. I could go on and on about the fries, but I had other food as well. Haha. I will say, there aren't a ton of vegetarian options on the menu, BUT the options available are good. I had the veggie wrap and it was pretty flavorful. The veggies are crispy and fresh, and the added sauce just makes it that much better. I also did try the sweet potatoes and they were delicious! I didnt try the other dishes, but look at them...big portions and the person who ordered it loved them! Finally the place itself is beautiful. I didnt take any pictures, but it was bright and super welcoming. Overall, a must try! I know I'll definitely be back.

I'm not sure what their experience what, but I'm going to die on this hill that this is some phenomenal, life-changing chicken. I got takeout. Double flavor wings. Gang-jeong. Perfect balance of sweetness, umami, and heat. The other flavor was chessling. Again, perfect balance; this time, it was between rich cheesiness and a right amount of sweetness as well. I highly recommend both flavors. Now, this is just about the flavor itself. The meat itself was so tender and juicy. In the most appetizing, and hopefully not weird (but inevitably weird) way to describe it, it's almost as if I just caught the chicken with my bare hands and took a bite out of it. However, instead of getting feathers in my mouth, I was met with the most satisfyingly crispy exterior. What was specifically amazing about it was the fact that you could distinctly taste the tender meat on the inside separate from the crispy crunch on the outside. This was one of those meals where once I was done, I was in a complete coma afterwards. I woke up the next day in my bed about an hour or two before I had to get to work. Even though I was in a short vegetative state, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I love the atmosphere but the windows were tinted pretty dark so, it looked like it was closed. However, it was not. There were quite a few people inside. The music was on and the temperature inside was just right but the temperature of the Cashier was not. She seemed like she was in a bad mood and she didn't want to take my order and was rushing because, she was talking so, fast I couldn't understand her. I ordered a Slider and Fries. The Chicken Strip was hearty, a lot bigger than Raising Canes, that's for sure. The taste was lacking. Ugg, it did not have a good taste. I do not know what seasoning they used but, it was not to my liking. The Fries were dry and flavorless. In sum, it was not yum. Service was slow and rude. I like the ambiance, colorful, unique with Chicken decor, really cute. I wanted to like this place but, it fell short in my opinion.
