Chicken places always seem to have such low ratings. I feel like the service here, albeit a little bit slow, is appropriate considering how long it does take to fry chicken and keep it fresh. I have only been through the drive-through so I can't speak to how the interior is but the food was plenty hot and tasted great to me. I'd say the stuff is pretty standard in friendliness as far as a fast food restaurant goes. I still give them five stars overall. No issues here and nothing was missing from my order. :) read more

Went to this place. Horrible people. When I was ordering I was being rushed. Then when I get to the window doesn't even give me a second to order sauce. Then I get home and I have all very tiny chicken fingers! Never going back. read more

Chicken Express - Chicken tender - Chicken Wings Near Me - Corinth, Texas

Went through drive thru New Year's Eve and to say the least it was very busy! We expected that because a lot of places were closed. It took some time but the staff were very nice and the chicken strip meals were hot and tasty. read more

Today was my first time getting Chicken Express and wow.. the food is amazing. I ordered tenders and fries and it was a lot for $20! I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. read more

I use this Chicken Express 1 - 2 times a month. Today I ordered 2 catfish dinners. Had to wait about 15 minutes for it to cook. The teenagers running the place would not answer the phone so I couldn't call my order in ahead but everything was hot and very good. read more

bruno is amazing he deserves a raise these are the best tenders ive ever had and hes consistent.

We go to chicken express after church every Sunday. We love their tenders and fish. the food is always consistent and fresh, and the inside and restrooms are kept very clean. Also, the servers are always courteous and nice without an attitude. Steven, the manager, is very concerned about how his restaurant treats people, how his customers are satisfied with the food, and that you want to come back. We find the fish much better than a lot of other places in town. Give it a try. We like it very much It's five star for us!! read more

Came here get a quick bite and expectations fell short. For a fast food joint the drive through was extremely slow. The tenders were good but fish was horrible (tasted old and hard). The coleslaw side was disgusting. It must've gone bad because one bite and had to immediately spit it out. My money definitely felt wasted coming here. Three stars because staff was nice but would've been one based on the food alone. read more

The team over at this chicken express did above and beyond by not buttering the rolls and they re- cook some more for me that was pretty amazing. They did a great job! And yea it may take a bit of time but that is hard work. Be patient and kind to our fast food workers y'all! read more

Not too many chicken express on this side of DFW. Had a chance to try the tenders and the chicken this week on 2 separate occasions. Both times visited, inside and drive thru, were pleasant visits. Both experience came as expected; one of the better CE's that I've had in the DFW area. read more

The cashier with glasses who works the drive thru wearings her mask below her nose. The guy preparing food with dark hair and a baseball hat also wears his mask below his nose and also pulls it below his chin to speak with coworkers. This is unacceptable during a Covid pandemic. read more

just got in from the airport. Decided we wanted chicken express. We pull up about 50 min. Before closing. Ordered a chicken tender meal and a liver meal. They said they were out of livers and gizzards. we were not convinced but proceeded With our order of tenders and mashed potatoes. When it was handed to us is was absolutely cold. Not even luke warm. we immediately just walked inside and asked for a refund. They weren't even trying to provide a service. Just trying to serve cold left overs and close the store an hr earl. Would never use this location. read more

The food is great, but service is lousy. Always check your order before leaving. Many times I have left only to find that I am missing items once I get home. read more

Apparently they are ignorant and cannot count chicken strips. This place is ran by imbeciles as this is not the first time they cannot count to 7. I'm done and pray the heath department or someone shuts them down so I do not make this mistake again!!! read more

This is my now go to spot for hands down great catfish and Gizzards ! My first time here ...Steven Newman the owner sent out a flier for 10$ off. I don't know about you but that speaks volumes in my court. My food was spot on and made to order. The catfish is my favorite, fresh and a light batter crust that complements the fish . The service was impeccable and the store was clean. read more

The employees are nice, but that's about all that is going for this place. For some reason for the past 10 months at least, this place is always slow to get the food out. No matter what day or time I go, or what I order, it always, and I mean always, takes 20 plus minutes to get your food. Not sure what the concept of fast food is here. I can fry chicken myself in 20 minutes and for 1/4 the price; probably taste better too. Your time and money is better spent ordering food and picking it up from a nicer restaurant in the area. Or get your chicken from Albertsons, Walmart or Pope-Eyes down the street. This place is a complete waste of time and I hate myself for going there every time I choose to. read more

I wrote a review on this place back in December 2013 and was trying to be lenient. I no longer will. This is by far, the worst Chicken Express location on the planet! In the last 60 days, we have been to this location on 3 separate occasions. Either it was peak lunch or dinner, and when ordering chicken, we got the same response: "It will be about 15 minutes while we get chicken up." We have relatives that also visit this place and there is always a wait on chicken. The last time we personally were there, we said no thanks and went somewhere else. If you ever drive by this place, the parking lot hardly has any cars in it, and I have watched people drive off. This ought to be a clear sign that either the service or the food is horrible. In this case, the service is horrendous. We no longer even bother with this place for fried chicken anymore, and it's a shame because their chicken is good. I hope the owner of this place is reading this review. You have a bunch of young teenagers that are mostly running the place, and it seems to me like they really don't want to be there and it's hurting your business when they don't have food ready. read more

This location is always faster than the one on the loop. Their chicken is usually fresh and the staff is friendly. I absolutely would rather drive the extra 10 minutes to this location then put up with the nightmare on the loop. read more

Great management and friendly staff! Only ever had one issue and the owner personally handled it quickly and was very polite about it!

This location has had new management and has been soaring since! The quality of the food has overall improved but the environment as will. It's so nice and clean inside and has a personal shabby chic touch which was SO cute! So eager to visit one of the best chicken places around to see wager smiling faces again! read more

Chicken.express has great chicken. Problem is you never know when they have it. It is not uncommon for them to be out and tell you it's gonna be 30 minutes before it's ready... I mean seriously, you have one product, how do you lose track... But even worse, out of the many times I have been there to pick up food to take home (they are the only option near my home) I am not sure I ever mad it home with my entire order... So one word to wise, don't leave thinking they made sure everything is in the bag, because that is highly unlikey... double check so you don't get home to a disappointed family.. read more

All the fast-food joints on this strip of road are all poor with customer service. I've showed up 10 mins late to pick up an order and still stood around for 10 more mins waiting for them to do something besides shuffle their feet at the prep counter read more

I love the catfish filets here. However, I was surprised to see that workers are not wearing masks at the height of the pandemic. I do not plan to return there anytime soon. read more

Staff is great. Chicken is hit or miss - sometimes crispy and sometimes not so much. We personally like fried chicken that is crispy and this doesn't seem to be their target. The chicken strips are actually better than the chicken. Sweet tea is the best in the area. Worth a stop for the tea alone. Chicken livers are decent. Mashed potatoes and gravy are mediocre. Fairly inexpensive - especially their lunch specials. Their hot salt is something clever and tastes good on the fries. read more

I thought it was Pretty self explanatory when you read the sign. But it's not. It was stated you have to have a coupon. Really?? It doesn't say that on the sign. Just put a note on there stating that if that is true, but it's very misleading when it doesn't say that. Then the cashier got rude. read more

Chicken Express - Misleading sign - Chicken Wings Near Me - Corinth, Texas

This location is horrible I have been sitting here in the drive thru for over 30 mins and have told 2 different people the order and it still hasn't come out... On top of everything the girl with long light purple nails asked me a question while basically picking her nose? I'm pretty sure the health inspector would not approve of any of this the nails or touching her face read more

Love this location and staff. They are always very welcoming and friendly, restaurant is always very clean and their food is outstanding! Very well run operation - 5 Stars across the board! read more

This location came under new ownership about a year ago or so, and it's much better than before: service and food. I can't comment on the interior of the store as I have only ever used the drive-thru. Kudos to the new owner/management. Today, I ordered the 15 tenders (spicy) family meal (Receipt Dr-T#78). I had to wait a few minutes at the window but it was well worth it as everything came out piping hot, fresh, and delicious. I don't know if the spicy tenders are unique to this store (I don't see them on the corporate website), but they are awesome. If you like spicy, give them a try. Service was courteous and professional. read more

Since there were so many complaints about this location before. I thought I might try it again because it is now under new ownership. Despite the new promising banners and ads, the service still has not changed. Picture is quite self-explanatory. There were 2 tenders missing, there were some chicken bites mixed in there with the gizzards, both tenders were cold when I got home (I live 0.5 miles away). And I never received a single smile or greetings from employees. read more

Chicken Express - the inside of a box of fried chicken - Chicken Wings Near Me - Corinth, Texas

We really like Chicken Express it far exceeds the other chicken place down the road. This location is always so clean and they seem to keep the same staff which is always friendly. Now the food is awesome like other locations. I just love the catfish. I will not complain about the wait as I know they are freshly made just for me! read more

Had the chicken 3 piece dark and drink $5.50 combo special. Chicken cooked just perfect. Crispy fries. Friendly service. Completely different experience than the new Corinth competitor. Will be back! read more

I'm a big fan of chicken express, but this location is awful. I will never return. Bad food and rude service are the norm. It is a shame because it is very close to my house and I like fried chicken. I would rather get from the grocery store. read more

I've gone to this location over the span of a few months and the fried pickles are always drenched in salt. That's really all you can taste. They've messed up our orders more often than not and the wait for the food is always horrid even though there are rarely any costumers. We will not be going back. read more

Ordered spicy chicken strips and they were hard and cold. I called to speak with the manager and he offered to replace. I was frustrated that I had to drive back up there but understand things happen. I did all of that to feel like I was handed the same chicken in a new box. The manager didn't even offer a sorry or acknowledge me coming back. I am so frustrated and will not be returning! read more

Is this a chicken place? Three times in a row they have either closed early or they are out of chicken. This time they told us it would take 18 minutes to cook us chicken, there were 3 cars behind us. They were trying once more trying to convince us not to order. If I was expecting to profit from this location I would fire everyone and start over. If they actually have chicken they screw up your order or just completely forget to give it to you without forgetting to charge you. We are done with this location. read more

I was looking for something good on Yelp, and I passed by the rating for my local Chicken E. I am surprised by the number of stars. Probably been here 35-50 times, and only a few times has it been a little disappointing (like chicken was maybe a little overdone or not the freshest. I don't recall them ever getting my order really wrong (one time I asked for 4 spicy and 3 regular for a 7 tender order my wife and I were splitting, and it was the other way around. Not a big deal). Taking into account that this is a fast food establishment and not Pappadeaux, I've never been dissatisfied. Okra game is on point! read more

GO TO HIGHLAND VILLAGE INSTEAD. So disappointed as CE is my favorite place to get chicken. I don't know why I torture myself every time and don't just drive the few more miles to highland village. In Corinth my chicken is always cold, order in NEVER correct and the employees are terrible and unfriendly. In highland village my food is always correct, hot and employees are so friendly. Corinth location is giving my favorite fast food a bad name. You really should get control of this and do better. I am not the only person with these complaints. :( I keep trying to give it a chance thinking they will change and get there crap together but it never happens. sad read more

I don't understand how this location has so many bad reviews because I've never had a problem. The only downside is you have to wait a little bit in drive thru but I'd rather wait for quality food than raw food. Customer service is always good here and the people are friendly as always read more

Love this Chicken Express. Great, helpful staff. Clean dining area. Food is great. Decorated in Cowboys theme.
