I use this Chicken Express 1 - 2 times a month. Today I ordered 2 catfish dinners. Had to wait about 15 minutes for it to cook. The teenagers running the place would not answer the phone so I couldn't call my order in ahead but everything was hot and very good. read more

We go to chicken express after church every Sunday. We love their tenders and fish. the food is always consistent and fresh, and the inside and restrooms are kept very clean. Also, the servers are always courteous and nice without an attitude. Steven, the manager, is very concerned about how his restaurant treats people, how his customers are satisfied with the food, and that you want to come back. We find the fish much better than a lot of other places in town. Give it a try. We like it very much It's five star for us!! read more

Came here get a quick bite and expectations fell short. For a fast food joint the drive through was extremely slow. The tenders were good but fish was horrible (tasted old and hard). The coleslaw side was disgusting. It must've gone bad because one bite and had to immediately spit it out. My money definitely felt wasted coming here. just got in from the airport. Decided we wanted chicken express. We pull up about 50 min. Before closing. Ordered a chicken tender meal and a liver meal. They said they were out of livers and gizzards. we were not convinced but proceeded With our order of tenders and mashed potatoes. When it was handed to us is was absolutely cold. Not even luke warm. we immediately just walked inside and asked for a refund. They weren't even trying to provide a service. Just trying to serve cold left overs and close the store an hr earl. The employees are nice, but that's about all that is going for this place. For some reason for the past 10 months at least, this place is always slow to get the food out. No matter what day or time I go, or what I order, it always, and I mean always, takes 20 plus minutes to get your food. Not sure what the concept of fast food is here. I can fry chicken myself in 20 minutes and for 1/4 the price; probably taste better too. Your time and money is better spent ordering food and picking it up from a nicer restaurant in the area. I wrote a review on this place back in December 2013 and was trying to be lenient. I no longer will. This is by far, the worst Chicken Express location on the planet! In the last 60 days, we have been to this location on 3 separate occasions. Either it was peak lunch or dinner, and when ordering chicken, we got the same response: "It will be about 15 minutes while we get chicken up." We have relatives that also visit this place and there is always a wait on chicken. The last time we personally were there, we said no thanks and went somewhere else. If you ever drive by this place, the parking lot hardly has any cars in it, and I have watched people drive off. This ought to be a clear sign that either the service or the food is horrible. In this case, the service is horrendous. We no longer even bother with this place for fried chicken anymore, and it's a shame because their chicken is good. I hope the owner of this place is reading this review. You have a bunch of young teenagers that are mostly running the place, and it seems to me like they really don't want to be there and it's hurting your business when they don't have food ready. read more

But even worse, out of the many times I have been there to pick up food to take home (they are the only option near my home) I am not sure I ever mad it home with my entire order... This location came under new ownership about a year ago or so, and it's much better than before: service and food. I can't comment on the interior of the store as I have only ever used the drive-thru. Kudos to the new owner/management. Today, I ordered the 15 tenders (spicy) family meal (Receipt Dr-T#78). I had to wait a few minutes at the window but it was well worth it as everything came out piping hot, fresh, and delicious. I don't know if the spicy tenders are unique to this store (I don't see them on the corporate website), but they are awesome. If you like spicy, give them a try. Staff is great. Chicken is hit or miss - sometimes crispy and sometimes not so much. We personally like fried chicken that is crispy and this doesn't seem to be their target. The chicken strips are actually better than the chicken. Sweet tea is the best in the area. Worth a stop for the tea alone. Chicken livers are decent. Mashed potatoes and gravy are mediocre. I was looking for something good on Yelp, and I passed by the rating for my local Chicken E. I am surprised by the number of stars. Probably been here 35-50 times, and only a few times has it been a little disappointing (like chicken was maybe a little overdone or not the freshest. I don't recall them ever getting my order really wrong (one time I asked for 4 spicy and 3 regular for a 7 tender order my wife and I were splitting, and it was the other way around. Not a big deal). Taking into account that this is a fast food establishment and not Pappadeaux, I've never been dissatisfied. Okra game is on point! read more

GO TO HIGHLAND VILLAGE INSTEAD. So disappointed as CE is my favorite place to get chicken. I don't know why I torture myself every time and don't just drive the few more miles to highland village. In Corinth my chicken is always cold, order in NEVER correct and the employees are terrible and unfriendly. In highland village my food is always correct, hot and employees are so friendly. Corinth location is giving my favorite fast food a bad name. You really should get control of this and do better. I've gone to this location over the span of a few months and the fried pickles are always drenched in salt. That's really all you can taste. They've messed up our orders more often than not and the wait for the food is always horrid even though there are rarely any costumers. We will not be going back. read more

This time they told us it would take 18 minutes to cook us chicken, there were 3 cars behind us. They were trying once more trying to convince us not to order. If I was expecting to profit from this location I would fire everyone and start over.
