We live this place. We always swear that the next time I'm going to order chicken--but I end up with fish! They have decent tasting fish. All of them are great. Okra. Coleslaw. Mashed potatoes and gravy(though not quite enough gravy and a tad dry) corn fritters. Jalapeno bites. I could go on, but trust me, they are great. I love their sweet tea. Ok this is definitely a first. At least in while that is. For once I got to pull into a fast food to get some good yard bird before the night ends and, not only did I get a good meal. I have been here twice. The first visit was good. Adequate service and good food. The second visit the register rebooted and I had to give my order twice. No big deal. They were busy so everyone was focused but not real attentive. Food this time was adequate and I got a surprise in my chicken. Nothing too bad but the neck was still attached. Now for me it wasn't a turn off but did make me wonder how the cook could miss something like that. If they miss this, what else have they missed in the past. The chicken, fish, rolls, poppers and corn nuggets were all tasty. The Mac n cheese was a thick glob of broken pasta shells. Lately, the chicken has been hot and fresh, and the to-go boxes complete. Tonight again, no biscuit in one of the boxes. Seems like a petty thing to complain about, but I am paying for it, I want to get it all. I am also going to complain about their senior discount policy. My husband and I have been eating there about once a week. We only learned a couple of months ago that they have a senior discount. There is a sticker at the drive up window, pretty small. The issue with this discount is, it is given based on how many people are in the car. Usually, we drive through together, however, tonight my husband was tending to some last minute chores - so the discount was only for 1 meal. I was told that it was because they don't know if I am purchasing for another senior. What the difference does that make? What if I was going to eat both? Are you telling me that 97 cents is going to break the bank for Chicken Express? The bag says they really appreciate our business. I guess that is only if you are paying full price. The girl at the window was pretty snippy. It looks like we will stop our weekly treat. read more

5 years ago I would have given them five stars. Well unfortunately times change, the nerve of these places charging twice as much for half the quality as it was pre pandemic, so at that time their food was always good! Not anymore! Eaten here 3 times post pandemic once my fish was so burned it was inedible, the next time my tenders were rubber and gristle, all but one of them was inedible, they also didn't give me a spoon or fork and I ordered mashed potatoes and gravy?? I guess they expected me to eat mashed potatoes with my hands. Third time I tried to order fish again, I think they dumped an entire shaker full of salt on it.. so salty it was inedible, which really sucked because they were otherwise cooked correctly that time and I was looking forward to getting proper chicken express fish! Nope they ruined it with way too much salt. Same with fries. read more

Went for dinner kinda late in the night. 8:45 pm. Came into Chicken Express because they actually stay open an hour later than almost all restaurants in Chickasha. Dining room was clean. We ordered for a family of four. All got different dinner combos. Even with it being late in the night they had really great fresh food. We had chicken strips, catfish, fries, green beans, corn on the cob, rolls and a biscuit. Chicken was tender and with great flavor! Food was fresh warm. Employees were attentive and friendly! The lady who took your order was nice, but went in with five people and ordered extra fries for two of the younger kids. I said we were missing the two fries , and The woman in back Stephanie Garcia( the manager) said she gave us the fries. I asked her to come look at our order at our table. She would not and she said she had put the fries were on my husband and teenagers plate. She was so angry for some reason And would not look at me. I said I have to remove the fries from their plAte and give them to the kids. She said " Yes, fries did not come with their meals. So that is what we did DURING COLD and FLU season. My teenager did not know fries did not come with the chicken and had eaten some... she has been exposed to mono!!! So we gave my daughters guest my husbands fries. He had eaten some but at least he was not sick! read more

The food is okay for the price. The big but is that they can't get an order right to save their lives. No one checks what is in the box against the order ticket. The last five times we have gone there something has been wrong. Either the sides are not right, sides are missing, rolls and biscuits are missing, or they don't get the correct number of pieces in the box. Our last order I got what was supposed to be chicken but was actually a chunk of fried breading. Gross. We will go to a competitor where you get desert as well for the same price from now on. read more

My family waited in line for over 15 mins and finally got to the speaker to order at 8:02 pm and was told that they closed at 8 and couldn't serve us the 3 teas we were wanting. There were 5 other cars behind us that had been waiting too. There was no signing or anything to indicate they close at 8 instead of the posted time of 10 pm. Instead of coming out to tell their waiting customers that they were closing soon, they left us all in line waiting just to be told they couldn't help us. This is horrific customer service and a great way to run off your customers. Everyone needs to be aware of how this location handles their business and treats their customers. read more

I've been to many Chicken Express locations and this one is their worst so far. I got the 4 piece chicken tender meal with fries, a biscuit, and a bowl of gravy. To start, the MANAGER took my order and seemed to rush us, she didn't bother asking "Anything else for you?" She just said the total and stared blankly at me waiting for payment. Our food was delivered to our table not 3 minutes later by the same woman. She laid down the tray, we both said "Thank you" and she walked away without even looking at us. Now, as for the food, the fries were old, and at 1 o'clock I expected better. They oozed grease and were chewy and hard to eat. The chicken wasn't bad but it was room temperature at the best. The famous sweet tea had a disgusting after taste. For the price of $14.35 for two of the same combos I really cannot recommend them to anyone. You'd get better food from the McDonald's down the street. read more

Chicken Express has always been great until last night. Lady answered the phone then placed the caller on hold and walked off, she came back later and answered again. The whole time she was on the phone she was playing with her hair. When she hung up she went back to serving food without ever washing her hands. The lady fixing our order dropped a plate on the floor and picked it up and continue to put our food on it. After calling her out on it when we got our 3 orders all we had was chunks of chicken strips and colored water for gravy. That has been our go to eating place in Chickasha since it opened but last night might make us change that if it ever happens again. read more

This Chickasha location is the worst Chicken Express! They indicate a full menu, but don't carry everything. Service is awful, and the store had a terribly dirty floor. We won't be back. I'd give no stars if it was an option. read more
