I am a big fan of Chicken Express. This location does a good job with fresh hot Chicken. The service has been good for us each time. Never very busy when we go at lunch. I like how you can pick which pieces of chicken you want. The pieces are very large and very crispy. Get the soft tasty roll with the meal. I sometimes get fries with my combo. My only issue is the fires sometimes are not the freshest. Last time I should have returned them. I feel the have some of the best chicken strips. I get four-piece strips and they almost always give me five. Look for the specials on the windows, door sometimes on the counter. You will get a better deal on some combos. Terrible customer service and they always get our orders wrong. Today my boyfriend went to grab food for me and he was charged for someone else's order. When he went inside to let the staff know - there was kids hanging around, a young lady just wearing a sun dress walking around behind the counter. It's like a free for all. Then when he told them they charged him for the wrong order they ignored him. He finally got the difference back and the right order but we honestly should've let them keep the food and get a full refund. Because they still got our original order wrong! Sublett & 287 location. The chicken has always been good...not super greasy. Occasionally they've forgotten the gravy. When I bring it back they get me the gravy and apologize. One time they gave me a free gallon of tea to make it up to me. I'm not too sure why all the negative reviews. Agree with other guy about the fish though. I've only tried it once so maybe this isn't fair, but it was on the dry, overcooked or overheated side. When we immediately took it back they kindly replaced everything for us with no argument at all.) Besides, who can resist NOT tasting it in the car with that wonderful smell!! YUMMM!!! Otherwise the chicken, sides, and breads are always awesome. Probably no better fried chicken anywhere. If there is, I've never had it. The TENDERS are their prime item and they're fabulous, TENDER, juicy, and HUGE!!! The food at all Chicken Express locations, is exceptional! I'd like to say that first. But for some reason the crew most of them hire are quite inept at their positions. Last week, on his way home, my husband got off of the freeway on his way home to bring dinner. So, he went thru their drive thru. He ordered a meal deal that includes one side! He also ordered (and paid) for another side and some corn on the cob. When he got home, all we were given was the chicken and biscuits. When he called them, there was no restitution given to our debit card. We were asked if there was anyway we could come back. We didn't live close enough to go right back. All the person on the phone could say was the girl working the drive they was off now and went home. Beware at this location. CHECK YOUR ORDER. Better yet, go to Burger King or anywhere else.
