Their communication was outstanding, they offered great suggestions, and it was clear they genuinely cared about the quality of their work. They did an excellent job creating a flower bed retaining wall, installing pavers from my front yard to my backyard deck, and laying grass where it was needed. They took their time, paid attention to the details, and made sure everything was done right rather than rushing through the job. Bryan also went above and beyond to ensure the materials were high quality and promptly coordinated with the supplier when some damaged bricks arrived. That level of attention, accountability, and commitment to customer satisfaction really stood out to me. It's refreshing to work with a company that takes such pride in its craftsmanship and truly cares about its customers. The entire experience was excellent, and I'm extremely pleased with the results. I highly recommend Scapers Landscaping to anyone looking for quality landscaping work, outstanding communication, and a team that genuinely stands behind what they do. I will absolutely be using Bryan and his crew again for future home improvement projects!

Aldo came to do the work promptly for what I thought was a fair price, but less than 2 weeks later,…read moreall of the weeds are growing back, as they were not removed nor treated properly. The job was half done. I told him and asked him to come back and complete the job and he said it's normal for the weeds to come back and that a lot of his customers have him weed on a monthly basis... maybe a weed here or there, but I paid well for weeding and mulching to eradicate weeds and this was not our arrangement. Did not seem to understand that to keep weeds from growing back, he should have put down weed mat or sprayed - he did not do either and did not raise either as 'extra'. So, $300 for these areas and 2 weeks later it looks like my yard bed is heading back to where we started. Spraying here and there is reasonable as a homeowner, but as a landscaping company, I expected better service and more knowledge. He told me he did his job well and isn't coming back. I wanted to give a chance for someone to come back and correct, but he said no, so I want to leave an honest review for other yelp users looking for a similar project.

In Don Thurber, I finally found someone who could solve the problem of a massive and high dry stack…read morestone wall that had exploded in my backyard 34 years ago, and been an overgrown eyesore ever since. Others had advised it would take hundreds of thousands of dollars, require massive equipment, and could be replaced only by something brute or artificial looking. Not only was Don Thurber able to use all of the stone that had been piled up for decades and hidden in the remains of the landslide, he recut it and blended it in with new stone so that the resultant terraces looked like extensions of the original wall, Furthermore, everything was excavated by hand. No dump trucks or bulldozers. Then, his crew of amazingly talented master stonemasons spent 5 weeks executing a beautiful set of terraces of his own design. The result is nothing short of magnificent. Focusing on the aesthetic, he also created and installed a drainage system into each terrace to address the hydrostatic problem that had led to the collapse of the hill originally. Plus, he added lighting that I never would have thought to include. In other words, Silver Spring Landscaping exceeded all of my expectations. If you have a major project, and are willing to spend the funds necessary for a quality product, you have found the right person for the job. I really never thought I would, and am so glad I did.

He and his team were professional, always arrived on time, and the results have transformed the exterior of our home. Whenever I had concerns or questions, he was extremely responsive. I couldn't have imagined how beautiful it would be. I contacted Don because we were having some problems with the drainage that runs through our property. This was eroding our driveway and creating a hole similar to a sinkhole. He listened to my concerns and created a plan to address the erosion and beautify our property. He created a yard that will have flowering plants for 3 of the four seasons, keeping in mind that we have deer and other animals that love to eat plants, while maintaining the rustic environment. He also added a walkway so that we could easily get around the property. He was even able to use some stone plates we hadn't used. When he was finished with the project, they made sure everything was cleaned up. I would highly recommend Silver Spring Landscaping. I know I will enjoy Don's work for years to come.
