The spicy chicken sandwich here is delectable - just a bit of crunch and a burn that lasts through the entire process. The place is always packed - that drive-thru must crank through a thousand orders a day, easy, as it's never empty. The store itself isn't much to write home about, but you won't be here that long as this place puts the "fast" in fast food. Friendly staff are waiting outside to take your order, too - in all weather. It's an optimized machine. Great to see a real draw here as a decade ago this shopping center was empty. I came here with my children for a vacation. Sure, they were quick, but they forgot my daughter's apple juice straw! The one that is connected to the box! The straws that they come with! This place is in such a terrible spot! They even gave my daughter a fork for her ice cream! They also gave her my son's straw for his lemonade in her kids meal! This place sucks! read more

A Chick-fil-A next to Target ?? Sign me up ! I stopped into this brand new location during a busy dinner rush after attempting to place an order for pick up on the app that failed. The drive thru was packed ( as usual) and so was the inside. At least 4 registers were open and the workers were pleasant in their normal "my pleasure" way. It was maybe a 5 min wait until it was my turn. My cashier was a trainee which was fine and to be expected as this location hasn't even been open a week now. I ordered the grilled chicken deluxe meal and because my Apple Pay started failing me too (and possibly started to hold up the line) they comped my meal. My sandwich was neatly made and my fries were hot which is all I can ask for. Next time I'll try the drive thru, it may be less daunting than it actually is. read more

Have never had a bad experience at this location and I go to a lot of different Chick-fil-A stores! My food orders always come out hot and fresh. The customer service here is excellent, which is truly something because Chick-fil-A is the industry gold standard. The dining room is consistently clean and the tables are wiped down often. Worst chick fil a I have ever been to. We ordered 2 nuggets /market salads with apple cider vinaigrette a 12 count meal and a order of large fries. We never got any of the chick fil a sauce or ketchup. We got 1 fork for 2 salads AND the cherry in the cake was we got avocado salad dressing. Well we have avocado allergy so thanks for that. And o. Top of that, it was the longest wait at a drive thru of ANY FAST FOOD EVER. Truly the worst and slowest chick fil a EVER. read more

I am not the type to write a review (in fact this is my first ever review), but after multiple visits where things were forgotten, I feel that it's important for others to beware if they decide to visit this Chick-Fil-A. My husband and I just had a baby in March, so we frequented this establishment more often than we normally would. Unfortunately, almost every order we've been missing things (sauces, straws, sides), or the food itself has been subpar (cold, not well assembled, etc). We chalked it up to new workers in training. However today I took my parents through the drive-thru, and they neglected to give us an entire entree. My mom called to see what could be done to resolve the situation- it was supposed to be her lunch. There was no refund offered or solution for the situation. I find this appalling customer service. Basically the only thing left to do was to put it in dispute with the credit card?!? Most places will bend over backwards to make it right for their customers. I waited extra time (5 minutes) at Dunkin' recently, and they tripled my donut order. I don't enjoy gambling with an expensive fast food order. There are plenty of other places in the area that will get your order correct nearby and serve more consistently well made food. If you've got your heart set on Chick-fil-A, visit the one by Christiana Care- they will at least get your order correct! read more

Chick-fil-A has been my favorite fast food chain for many years but this location still has some issues to iron out. The food itself was great as usual. The food pickup area is very chaotic and many employees don't even look when crossing in front of cars when delivering food to the right lane. I've seen a couple close calls of employees almost getting hit in the few times I've been there. I've been to other chickfilas many times but have only seen this here. Hopefully it's just a temporary training issue but not off to a good start. read more

we love chick fil a bit this location is the worst! On 2 occasions I got water instead of sprite. This time I got cold fries and burnt chicken nuggets. My shake had whip cream all over the top, which transferred onto the all the bags. It was rush hour, the line wasn't long. They need to slow down a little and give better service. I'll ride to Christiana, even with high gas prices, until they get it together on Kirkwood. This is the worst ever. Never had such bad service at a chick fil a until this location. read more

I've never in my life had a bad experience at any Chick-fil-A restaurant until this sure opened. It is right down the street from where I live and so I was coming almost every other day. First of all there is an older man that works in the restaurant who always stares at me and gives my boyfriend and I dirty looks the whole time were there. Another time I was smoking a cigarette outside like I always see the employees and customers doing, and the owner told us we had to leave! Gave us 5 minutes to get off the property and when I told him his employees always smoke outside he called me a liar!! I know for a fact they smoke there because I've seen them for 1, and 2 I've even been asked for cigarettes by management and given her one! There also is no "no smoking" signs posted so how does anyone know not to smoke? A simple warning is normal but not being kicked out especially when I put the cigarette out when he asked. when I pointed out the no non smoking signs he says "well im the owner so I can make any rules I want whenever I want" which I found very arrogant, unprofessional, and immature. The next time I was in here eating breakfast I had been sitting down eating for about 20 minutes so far, scrolling through my emails when a very nice employee comes to my table and tells me if I'm done eating I have to leave cus I cannot be "hanging out" there, and that this was coming from the owner. I was still eating and I had only been there 20 minutes!! It was very not busy in there and nobody was waiting for a seat. But I did see a few people done eating since I had gotten there, that were on their phones or lap tops just "hanging out" which those people were never approached and told to leave like I was. I was infuriated and felt like I was being profiled and picked on at this point. I give this company my business and I'm still being kicked out even as a paying customer who does not start any trouble. I would not recommend this Chick-fil-A. The employees are not bad. It's the owner and the older gentleman that works there that are profiling, rude, degrading, stuck up, rich snobs. Aren't they supposed to be a Christian business and meaning they are non judgmental and treats everyone equal? I went to the new Chick-fil-A twice now and both times they messed up my order. I got my food and when I got home I realized something was missing. The first time one of the orders of fries were missing and the second time my wrap was missing. When I complained to Chick-fil-A about the missing wrap all they said was "Sorry". We visited Chick-fil-A three times in late November early December tempted by the Peppermint milkshake. All three times were between 7:30 - 9:15 pm. The first time, there was a long line at drive-thru (two lanes) we were greeted by an order taker, 1/2 way through, a person to pay for the order and then later, another person to confirm the order. Then we waited another 15 frustrating minutes while cars in the other lane rolled past us. Ordered 3 shakes which were great, cold, and frosty, topped with whipped cream topping and a cherry. We returned twice after that and each time the drive-thru experience grew progressively worse. The last time, a person took our order almost as soon as we pulled up behind a long line of cars. Immediately, another person took our payment and confirmed our order and then sat, and waited, it took at least 30 minutes after ordering until we received our order only to discover that we were short one shake AND that the shakes we'd received were melted and had no whipped cream or cherry. There were numerous employees outside delivering orders to cars and so many people inside near the register they were bumping into one another. It was chaotic! They couldn't find the other shake they had to recheck our order, at least 3 people came to our car to verify the problem. Total confusion! It took another 5 minutes before they finally came out with another shake. We informed them the shakes we have are completely melted and lacked the toppings and the cups and are only 3/4 full. They more or less shrugged and said "all out of toppings". We purchased 4 shakes at over $4 each and they were the consistency of milk and the employees didn't care. Needless to say, we are unimpressed by Chick-fil-A's inefficient, disorganized and uncaring staff. The drive-thru experience is a nightmare. Found a recipe online for peppermint shakes - they are just as good and not as frustrating. Won't be going back. I give this Chick-fil-A one star, if I could give less I would. read more
