If you love spicy then you will really love the extra crispy Jala Ranch Chicken Sandwich from Chick-fil - Off University in WDM. The entree portion is large, the bun is fresh with three slices of jalapeño add your own jalapeño sauce and bite down-- deliciously flavorful. As the voice comes over the speaker it is clear with an authentic question how they might be of service, The let's not rush carries over to allowing you to pace yourself between drivers and enjoy your total surroundings of peaceful calmness. read more

Ben at counter was awesome . Rectified a wrong order speedily , thanks This store always serves hot sandwiches. read more

I've been to this location many times as it is on my commute home. The drive thru length can vary per day from very long, through the parking lot, to almost no one. The line is always moving though and well organized with signs and lane markers. Most recently, I came to try the pretzel club sandwich. It was so good! They also gave me a free side of Mac and cheese which was a nice surprise. Food is always hot and served with a smile. read more

We stopped and grabbed food quickly before heading back on the road. We placed our order and received our food (cooked freshly) all within 15 minutes. Like all of these particular franchises, the customer service is top notch. God's chicken is the best in my opinion! read more

Great customer service and delicious food! Upon walking in we were greeted immediately. I wasn't aware they would cook lunch items in the morning, but we were given a heads up that it would be few minutes longer for those items. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean too. read more

I will never complain about Chick-Fil-A. Their food is always top notch and their service is always great. They are friendly and get their job done almost seamlessly. It's always busy, but you're never waiting too long to get their delicious food! read more

I read my 2016 review where I got a free meal. It's funny to think this is the first time back since then, and it's because it was a free meal again. Gifted a card for a free Chick-fil-A meal we made our way across town. We parked in the shared parking lot. We decided to eat in. We walked in, and it was all smiles behind the counter. That, to me, really makes a difference. Since we only had 2 choices with the gift card, it made it pretty easy. I got the meal with a drink, and my hubby matched me. Then, for a small chicken nuggets also. We were given a number and we went and found a seat. Everything was clean and stocked. We sat near the back. I could see out the widow. 3 different individuals were outside for traffic in the drive in. Luckily the weather was really nice mild winter day. We enjoyed our meal. Although we think the price beimg free was a bonus. The meal itself would have been about $10 a person and we commented on the price vs. product Again. The staff here gave it the extra star. There was a good number working, cleaning, cooking and directing traffic. Good to see so many working. All caught with smiles on their faces. read more

Typically love Chick-fil-A but got terrible food poisoning. Sad to say bc I love Chick-fil-A but I prob won't be going back. I ordered grilled chicken. read more

This is the best chic fil a I have EVER been to. My order took a little longer than the rest of my teams and they gave me a brownie when they brought out my order. After that they walked around and offered a free sample of their floats how nice! The place is very clean, put together, and has very cute flowers on the table. Thanks for the great service! read more

Chick-fil-A is a processing machine. We found parking in the back and navigated through the 2 streams of cars in the drivethru lanes. We made it safely to the restaurant. It was great that the ordering line went quickly and smoothly. The table rotation was high and found seating. My peers at work bring in their fried Nuggets and mini sandwiches as treats. But today we had their Grilled Chicken and Grilled Chicken Club sandwiches. In both sandwiches the chicken breast was cooked well, were moist and decently sized. They didn't have much flavor in and of themselves. The rest of the ingredients were fresh. On the Club sandwich, which has an additional 130 calories, the bacon did add some flavor but the added cheese had minimal flavor. It was quick and satisfied our lunch needs. read more

I visited Chick-fil-A today and the service was incredible! The staff greeted me immediately and my food was ready in minutes; Angel and Maryn were especially great and hospitable! This Chick-fil-A location is a 10/10!!!!!!! read more

Nice clean chik-fil-a. Staff is very efficient. Food good and hot. Orders come out quickly. read more

Worst Chick-Fil-A restaurant I have ever been to. Extremely slow service. Ordered a chicken sandwich--no pickle, add honey mustard and a coffee. Sandwich had ONLY PICKLE, no HM and waited 10 min. for the coffee. They were bringing orders to cars waiting behind us that could not even get out of the line. Extremely poor management of customers. They recently shut this one down to, I thought, improve traffic flow and service but I honestly believe it is worse than before. Avoid this one unless you enjoy lots of frustration. read more

The food is great the prices not so much.My wife and I went to the restaurant today ,maybe I am behind the times but 1 sandwich, 1pack of fries 1 peppermint shake $13.00 seemed a little steep, I guess you have to pay for quality. read more

Updated restaurant is so nice. More important than that is the staff. They are exceptional and very friendly especially the manager/ hostess, I believe Zuella? She's a rock star. Wow! She knew all the customers name and talk to everyone. You just don't see that level of hospitality at any level of food service. Thank you!! read more

We went through the drive through during lunch and it was pretty speedy! Service was great, and food is ur usual delicious goodness.

I have their app and every once in awhile I get offered a free reward. I don't know if these are new items they're trying to get the word out about but I try to use them everytime because I love chicfila for breakfast. today's offer was mini chicken sandwiches. for me these were a bust. they are cute as hell. little balls of chicken tucked into little biscuitss, bit the chicken to biscuit ratio is way off. it's mostly biscuit, too dry for me. the service was good, I went through the drive through. it went quick and smoothly. polite staff. I got every thing as ordered. I'll be back for breakfast but I'll get the regular chicken biscuit. but thank you for the free reward. read more

Food was good excellent service good was to die for 10 out of 10 highly recommend please try the spicy sandwich it was good but hurt

Love this place! The service is always fast and friendly. The staff constantly interacts with the customers getting to know many on a first name basis. I cam count on one hand the number of times my order has been incorrect over the years. The food is always quality. I keep going back again and again...sometimes twice in one day like I did today (for both breakfast and lunch). read more

Tables were not clean. Bathrooms were not clean. Trash over flowing inside and out. Workers were standing in the bathroom on their phones in the way of the sink to wash my hands. Food tasted ok. read more

The drive thru was down and staff was posted outside, taking orders on a tablet. They were troopers and trying to adjust to make sure orders were made and customers had service. They did a great job. read more

Love this new location! Chicken nuggets and sandwiches made and served as expected. Every time. This location is definitely smaller than Paradise Point but maneuvering is fine. Parking lot is crazy coming in due to other businesses. But not terrible if in a hurry. Kid and family friendly. Not so sure for large groups. But that shouldn't stop you from visiting. Drive through is great! Lost baby shoes here a couple times and thankfully I've been able to find them here each time. The managers and workers who run this location are fantastic and accommodate well. Love the people here! read more

So, Teacher Appreciation was today, and Chick-Filet sent out a flyer about how educators can get a free sandwich. My wife and I, both being educators, went to this restaurant, where the outside waiter said they were doing the promotion but that he couldn't discount two sandwiches from his tablet and would have to send me up to the window for that. When I arrived at the window, I was told that they couldn't do any discounts not even on one sandwich. So, I drove off. If they can't follow through on their promotions, then I won't be eating there again. Good thing the Merle Hay location could figure it out. read more

Honestly although the menu is limited this place never misses for me. Love the spicy chicken and mac and cheese and the peppermint shake is refreshing. Chicken is juicy and has great flavor. Best part about really any chick fil a is the service. Blows my mind that they can manage to clear out a very packed drive through so well and still give good food. Also don't sleep on thier breakfast items or thier wrap with the avocado ranch dressing. The wrap is usually a little dry but the dressing helps alot if you want a bit more of a healthy menu item. Always expect this place to have great service and solid food all around. read more

I think I'm in love...with a chicken and biscuit sandwich. It may be more of an addiction. I had previously gone to this location for lunch and always had great food through the drive-thru. But now that I've had their breakfast, there's no going for breakfast elsewhere. The biscuits at this location in particular are amazing. Dustin and his morning crew are always so fast and friendly, so now I go inside! I've always had good experiences here but the breakfast in particular is something worth waking up for! Stop in for great food, great service, great smiles and some pretty great deals (especially if you use the app)!! Just be prepared to join a gym to make up for your new addiction. read more

Tried ordering via their app. Nuggets, fries, and lemonade. I selected curbside pickup, but there's no designated parking spots. The staff has to find you in the parking lot. Anyhow, when I pulled up, my food was delivered almost immediately, sans drink. When I asked the girl serving me for my lemonade, she seemed surprised that I didn't have it yet, and annoyed she would have to return inside to get it. Not much in the way of an apology, and I received the most insincere "my pleasure " possible. I referred the visit on to corporate and will update when the opportunity arises. For the record, my food was hot and fresh and the order was otherwise correct. Edit: As of two weeks later, no response from the restaurant. I've responded further to corporate. read more

Went to Chick-fil-A here and forgot to get my card back obviously I should've been more careful but after that I got two charges that came out of my bank account that wasn't me obviously so be careful read more

This place does chicken well. Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal, and another order of 8 piece chicken nuggets. Chicken itself was very flavorful and the tomatoes and lettuce very fresh and colorful. No old ingredients here. The chicken nuggets were very good too. They weren't your standard ground up garbage, these were all different shapes and sizes and had real chicken pieces. I also enjoyed that their ketchup and ranch dressing and other sauces are all in little trays rather squeeze packets. So I don't have to pour anything out to be able to dip my nuggets or fries. Overall I like this place. Nothing revolutionary, but chicken done well. read more

Whoa, just had the worst experience with this Chick-FIL-A drive thru! They were beyond rude. I guess they are limiting sauces? We ordered for four and were told we could only get four sauces... OK, no problem, then how about letting us purchase the additional sauces?!?! We thanked him twice and got no response. What?!?! Aren't they known for providing the best service on the planet! I hate being disappointed in chick-fil-a. read more

I was watching TV and saw some whaky cow commercials saying "EAT MOR CHIKIN" A craving rose and I was off to Chik-Fil-A! What I like about Chik-Fil-A is that even though it is fast food, being in here feels somewhat like a restaurant, for example, the servers will bring your food to your table. It's also very nice and clean. As for the food, oh man, You have some delicious fresh stuff. A little priceier than your typical fast food, but worth every penny. Note: Order the waffle fries & make sure you get the Chik-fil-a sauce! read more

Service is quick, but not up to par. Asked for no tomatoes on an order and they imputed it as extra tomatoes. Also asked for a sweat tea and got Hi-C instead. They're pretty light with sauces so you have to ask for extra. read more

Free mystery breakfast item every Tuesday (before 10:30am)! They give out free food all the time and don't judge you when you go multiple times a day (not that I've, uhm, ever done that). On behalf of the poor college students in the world, we thank you! read more

I stopped in for a quick sandwich on my way through. The staff, despite being quite young, did a fantastic job. The service was quick, friendly and competent. The food was fresh and delicious. the service is perfection and the food is real amazing one of my favorites fast food restaurants in Des Moines

Im a big chic filet fan and this location is not ok. Too make it quick all chic filet are busy so that bring said please managers ask your employees to make sure all utensils are in the bag, because once we get our bag we take off and go. I called to express this to a manager on duty at 3:55pm and mind you this is on a Saturday July 25. I told him the problem and he basically said yes I'm sorry. I was like ok. The. I went in to explain I'm staying at a hotel and because of covid restaurant a are closed so theirs no utensils at hotels right now. I had to get back in my car and drive to nearest restaurant and get some silver ware to eat my food. Just so unfortunate the manger I spoke with was pretty lame with feeling apologetic towards me and saying he would remind his employees. Needless to say I will not be stopping at that location again. If the owner is reading this, please find a manager with some kind of customer service experience. That's key to being a manager! read more

Woooow! This location is awesome! We went here during the pandemic and the service was so speedy. I was beyond impressed on how friendly they all were too. And didn't even mess up our order. Hats off to you guys! Keep it up! read more

Always great food! Their chicken is the best flavor, juicy and filling!! Service is always 5 star!!

While driving on our way home from Yellowstone; we came through West Des Moines and stopped at this Chick-fil-A restaurant for a late lunch. The restaurant was very clean, the counter staff was extremely polite, and the food was great!! Nearly finished up, Karla stopped by our table and asked if everything was ok and did we need anything. We assured her it was very good, and she asked if we had been there before. When we told her where we were coming from and why we were travelling (our 40th wedding anniversary); she gave us a free dessert card, and wished us many more years together!! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. If we are ever in West Des Moines again, you can bet we will stop in for a bite to eat. By the way, I had the wrap (delicious) and my husband had the deluxe chicken sandwich and mac n cheese, which he said were both delicious. read more

Such a simple menu compared to other fast food restaurants. The chain differentiations itself with great service and quality fast food. This location really stands out in customer service. Right after we ordered, the expediter had our food and instead of just handing us the tray, he walked it to our table. During our 45 minutes at the restaurant, we had at least 5 times when someone would ask if we wanted a refill on the drinks. Also came and took our tray of trash. Kids loved the play area. Unlike some other locations like the Burger King in Ankeny, this one looked and smelled clean. The kids enjoyed playing there. read more

Not very impressed today at all. Ordered a chicken sandwich without pickles, and I got one with pickles and without butter... YUCK! Also, waffle fries were not even warm and or went up and asked for another order with well done - was told that they don't do that anymore and no effort to make me a happy customer at all. Very disapointing. Probably will not come back her for a while - big change from what used to be like. Hope this is not the new normal here. read more
