I remind her I have an actual allergy by this time the manager is onto making the next sandwich and the meat slicer is no longer gluten safe and will need to be washed down again before redoing my sandwich. Why bother offering gluten if all your toppings are cross contaminated. Pre-cut your meats at the beginning of the day and set aside in special Tupperware containers , do the same with the sides. Wipe off a corner of the prep area and you have a more secure gluten free prep area and sandwich and no one risks cutting their hand off.
