Not too sure what goes on at this location. It is always a long wait. And almost but not always the orders are messed up. The staff members are great, customer service is amazing and everything gets corrected. But it it a hassle and the lines and location are extremely difficult. Food is always delicious and fresh. Wish we had another chick fil a close by.

I utilized the drive through this morning for breakfast. Both lanes were open and service was quick. Once I got up to order, my lady was super friendly. I ordered without any issues. I paid with cash and was pleased that the lady could take cash right there. I'm not sure if that's new or just at random locations, but I haven't been able to do it at others in the past. That was nice. I pulled around to the window area and waited only two minutes or so before my food came out. Everything was hot and I had my straw and sauces. I'll def come back to this location.

Chick-Fil-a is pretty standard no matter where you go. The people are friendly and fast. The food is always hot and fresh and if it's not right make sure to say something. They will fix it. This one gets a four stay due to the dining area. It was just not as clean as it could have been.

After several successful curbside orders I'm prepared to upgrade and put them in A-OK. Using the app has now become a way of life for many and it's effective. They have quadrupled their curbside operation and added a feature for a parking space number to add so they can easily locate. Food has come out in less than 5 minutes hot and tasty. Staff have been pleasant. I did have an issue of no straw on a frosted lemonade once that was annoying. But overall great job to the hard working staff. Look for an eventual expansion of this store in late 2020, early 2021. The parking lot will also be reconfigured. Be on the lookout for new menu options and meal kits.

I was casually eating food with my friends for dinner, enjoying myself. Five friends laughing will probably be a little bit loud. However, we shushed ourselves and thought tried to keep it down. A few minutes later, this insanely rude worker comes over and tells us to shut up! I was flabbergasted. You should be ashamed of yourself. I pay you to sit and eat and your restaurant, and you decide to disturb us like that with your rudeness? What a disappointment. 1 star. The food was OK. If I could give negative stars I *MOST CERTAINLY* would. Disappointed. For compensation I request a 25 dollar gift card AT THE LEAST.

WORST CHICK-FIL-A ALERT!!!! EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I come to this location, I have issues! 1. RUDE staff! 2. Today I got here at 10:27am and thought lunch started. The girl rudely informed me that lunch had not started yet (starts at 10:30am) and instead of taking my lunch order (because of a solid 3 mins left)... she had me loop back through the line and the wait to come back through to order. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF SOMEONES TIME! 3. RUDE delivery. This is the McDonalds of Chick-fil-A's!!!!!!! To the owner of this location: Do not get too comfortable thinking you have guaranteed business because I have seen a few Chick-fil-A's close down! Your location has functioned poorly since it's opening a few years back and we can't ever be sure when that will finally take its toll.

The restaurant was clean, well-lit, and had plenty of available seating. I ordered the quarter chicken with Peruvian fried rice and sweet plantains. Everything was exceptional; the rice and plantains were cooked perfectly, and while I did think the chicken was slightly salty, it was still very tasty. I also enjoyed the green sauce provided, though the food was flavorful enough on its own. My only minor suggestion is for the staff to ask guests whether they prefer white or dark meat when ordering. Aside from that, the meal was excellent. If you are looking for authentic, great-tasting Peruvian chicken, I highly recommend stopping by El Pico de Oro.

The food is delicious -- from the perfectly seasoned rotisserie chicken to the sides: yuca fries, peruvian corn salad, potatoes that taste homemade. The chicken is juicy, tender, and full of flavor, especially the dark meat, though fair warning: it can take a bit longer to come out if you order that. What really stood out was the fact that it was a one-man show -- the same person was the cook, cashier, server, and everything in between. You could tell he was working hard and looked exhausted, but he still managed to get everything done with a calm demeanor and a fairly steady attitude. Patience is key here, as food is made to order and may take time depending on what you choose. But trust me, the taste is worth the wait. Oh and If you're dining in on a hot day, make sure you grab a seat near the fan -- it can get very warm inside. It's a no-frills spot that delivers on flavor and heart.

I hadn't eaten there in over five years, so I was hoping the food was still as good as I remembered. My visit was on a Friday evening, around 6:00 or 6:30 PM. The dining room was relatively quiet, with only two other customers present, and I was immediately greeted upon walking in. I asked the cashier about the new menu item, the "Lamb Chops." He described them as pan-fried, noting that an order includes two to three nice-sized chops and comes with two sides. I decided to order the lamb chops to go, selecting the arroz chaufa (fried rice) which was a $1 upcharge and plantains as my sides. I was extremely disappointed when I opened my order and found that I had been served lamb shoulder for $18 and not the lamb chops I expected (typically rib or loin chops). To add to my disappointment the quality of the Lamb was very poor; it was tough, contained an excessive amount of connective tissue and fat, and was ultimately inedible. I ended up having to throw the entire portion away. The arroz chaufa also had inconsistent quality. While the flavor was good, the texture varied significantly, with parts being mushy and overcooked, and others remaining hard and undercooked. The Plantains were cut too thick and were also undercooked. Given the cost and the expectation associated with "Lamb Chops," I was extremely unhappy with my meal. I believe the cut of meat served was misrepresented, falsely advertised and the quality was unacceptable. I certainly cannot recommend this item to others and regret not ordering the chicken, which I know your restaurant prepares well.

Me and my boyfriend came here when we arrived Good Friday evening for dinner. We drove all the way…read morefrom central Virginia, and were very hungry. The Chicken Spot was one of two restaurants available that wasnt egregiously expensive, had seafood, and were still open late. Our experience was terrible. I am a young disabled woman. I have a few condition including some hearing issues and some mobility impairments (I use a cane). We walked in and it didn't look too busy. There were 3 people sitting at tables and the bar was a little crowded. When we walked in we immediately noticed the tables were all hightops, except for one 2 seater by the door that looked more like a servers stand than a table. Wheelchair users or other people eith PoTs beware. There was no signage and no one around so we got some menus and sat at the short table. We waited around 20 minutes then set a timer for 5 minutes to see if anyone would Show. We ended up going around the block to another restaurant that was also extremely busy aersalcoholfed. After waiting around 25 minutes at the other restaurant we went back to chicken spot. The bar cleared up slightly, but the 3 tables were still there. This time the bartender was there. We asked her if we could sit at the short table and she said we could sit anywhere, just come to the bar to order. So again, wheelchair users be warned. The menu was very unclear. Apparently there was a build your own seafood boil that started at $8 for a half pound of crawfish. There were your pickings of corn, potatoes, or boiled eggs for $1.75 underneath which I thought were extras. When I placed my order she asked how many potatoes and corn I wanted, this confused me since 1. She was speaking very fast and kept saying different things 2. There was music blasting and people talking all around 3. I have never heard of a seafood boil were you get to choose the amount. After I paused for a couple of seconds confused trying to collect my thoughts to ask her to clarify she finally snapped at me and said "Its per individual piece thats build your own." I absolutely wasn't about to pay $2 per vegetable so I changed my order to a shrimp basket and she got very fed up and rude. I understand it was busy and she was probably stressed, but the way she treated me was very unnecessary. I wasn't rude to her in the slightest, just confused and trying to ask questions, yet she treated me like I was the biggest inconvenience in her life and a waste of her time. We ended up ordering two baskets which came out to $35. We got our ticket but didn't pay yet. She did offer us drinks or water, which we accepted the water. (I can't drink because I'm disabled and my boyfriend had to drive). I feel like the waters just sealed the deal that we "weren't worth her time". We probably waited close to half an hour, and about 10 minutes into that, one of the tables that was there before we left the first time had JUST gotten their 6 drinks and food. There was a couple who was also waiting beforehand and they went to the bar to ask, and I guess they didnt get a good answer because they also looked unhappy. There was another person who left without his food, and the waitress ran out to chase him down, and multiple food delivery people came in to pick up orders. At one point the line cook walked out the front door, and came back in 10 minutes later reeking of marijuana. The waitress was also constantly running back into the kitchen. We ended up leaving without recieving our food and got dinner at 7/11. For atmosphere there are playstations at the bar, loud music, and an instagrammable sunflower wall if you're into that. They do also have games like giant jenga and checkers (thats missing pieces) at some of the tables too. For service is you're not a doordasher or single man, and if you're not ordering alcohol don't bother. For food, we unfortunately didn't even get to try it. But for the menu, pricing, and wait, it doesn't seem worth it at all. The waitress's attitude and treatment were awful, but the problems here definitely seem like they are mostly on management. The poor setup, the understaffing, the unclear menu, etc. My take is if food delivery is interfering with the quality of your in-house customers' experience you need to hire more staff or cut down on the delivery. They really need another line cook or two, and a food/drink runner at minimum. That bartender better be making more than minimum wage because she was doing the jobs of at least 2 different people. Overall, not disabled friendly, and poorly run. Maybe its better in the day, avoid at night unless you like drinking.

I chose the Chicken Tenders Box Combo both visits. It consists of 4 large pieces of tender juicy chicken & true Deep South Cole Slaw prepared with a light sauce, just like I grew up with. Also included were Crinkle Cut French Fries & awesome Texas Toast. I opted out of their Special Sauce, which I am told is delicious by those who like dipping Chicken Fingers. Lemonade, which is really good, was my drink choice. Perhaps the difference in the visits has to do with time of day. The first visit was mid afternoon, having had a doctor's appointment in close proximity. The personnel were friendly & welcoming. What must have been the manager told us we should come back the next week, on their First Anniversary. We decided to support the restaurant on their Anniversary, meeting friends who lived in Chesapeake. The drive from the Shore Dr corridor to Greenbrier at rush hour was much longer than anticipated. So it was in the midst of the dinner hour when we arrived. The restaurant was extremely busy. The staffing seemed similar to our mid afternoon visit, which wasn't quite adequate to handle the dinner hour level of business. It wasn't an Anniversary crowd. My Chesapeake friends indicated that the restaurant was always that busy. The food tray came so quickly that I was still talking to one of their pleasant personnel, maybe a manager. Although we were able to order quickly, very soon there was a long line snaking past our table towards the back of the store. I was shocked when we left the restaurant at the extremely long line of cars waiting to go through the drive thru. The parking lot of the restaurant didn't come close to containing it. Told that it was always like this, I understood that the staff must be struggling to handle that many customers at one time. One big complaint on my second visit is that one of their 2 unisex, spacious bathrooms was completely out of toilet paper & paper towels. The soap dispenser had the front taken off, obviously by a patron trying to find soap. The inside replaceable plastic bag of soap refills had been squeezed, obviously in an attempt to get the last of the soap remaining. I planned to tell an employee the state of that bathroom but they were so busy that I decided to just return to my table. Obviously this was a good location choice for a Raising Cane's. But I do think they should increase their staffing level during the busy dinner hours. The location was filled with framed Chesapeake History. It was fun to walk around and see the articles & pictures. One was even a page from the 1955 Oscar Smith High School Yearbook. I'll return to this location both for takeout after a doctor appointment or to meet my Chesapeake friends. But I'll definitely leave earlier or take a different route. And I look forward to the opening of their planned Lynnhaven location.
