This is a great Chick-Fil-A location. The service at this location has usually been great. The hubby and I go here once in a while. We are immediately welcomed in with enthusiasm and the staff even checks on us in the dining area. I usually get the waffle fries. I have either chosen the chicken salad or the original chicken sandwich. Hubby almost always gets the spicy chicken sandwich. Consistently good. I'm also a fan of their namesake sauce which is actually sold in grocery stores. Location is on Crenshaw Blvd in the same plaza as Aldi and Kinecta. Parking is shared among them and easy. At a past visit, it was nice that the tables had fresh flowers on them and there are a fair amount of tables. Most fast food places for me are typically just 3 stars but, this Chick-fil-A sets itself above. read more

Nice and very fast service. The premises and bathroom are very clean. I was surprised that it was pretty empty at noon on Saturday, but it started getting busier when we were leaving, so I guess people just have a late start to lunch on Saturday. When i stop at this Chick Fil A it's usually for breakfast. The chicken biscuit with a little honey on it is delicious. I also like their hash browns on the side. The are about as round as a quarter with a nice crunch to compliment the soft biscuit. Service is always quick and friendly at both the inside counter and the drive-thru. read more

Stopped in through the drive thru after placing a mobile order 5 minutes before getting there for spicy chicken biscuit. When I arrived I let them know at the speaker I had a mobile order and the order taker told me to pull ahead where there was only one car in front of me. The good: I ordered catering from here for my kid's birthday. It was easy to order online and it was much more affordable than ordering catering elsewhere. We got chicken sandwiches, and cool wraps, chicken nuggets. They also had delivery options. They have a drive-thru. The bad: The chicken nuggets were salty and dry. It was hard to chew some of them. There's a $250 minimum for catering orders. My order was to be delivered at 10:45 but around 9 I got a call and voicemail saying my order would be canceled if I didn't call back by 9:15 because my card didn't go thru. I wish they'd charge the card earlier to ensure it went thru. Prior to 9:15 I called over 5 times and got the voicemail box or the voice tree. My husband ended up having to rush over to pay since they didn't pick up their phone even though they told us to call them back. The interesting: You can get nuggets cold or hot. Five stars for the tasty and fresh food here plus 5 stars for the friendly professional service at this location. I'm a huge fan of this company because they seem to be so strong operationally and they're doing some thing right to have consistently friendly servers at most any location. For This location specifically - I have never experienced a less than friendly server. A couple of times we've had to wait a few extra minutes for food to be ready when going in the drive-through and both times, they provided some type of free gift card or a free cookie as a thank you for waiting. This is going so far above and beyond any other fast food chain because we're literally not waiting more than a couple of minutes. The kids meals are awesome for kids and the little gift they put in the kids' meal is usually more educationally oriented than the toys in a kids meal at other fast food chains. The drive through can be congested at times. This is hit and miss. I recommend the family size 30-piece chicken nuggets and their chocolate chip cookie. read more

This one is sort of in an odd location traffic-wise but they've done a great job making it as efficient as possible. Fairly new, they did have a number of growing pains with some orders of mine messed up or not even being recognized as a location on their app. Since then it's improved tremendously and is now my go to Chick-fil-A due to its proximity to my home. Food has consistently been delivered as expected to Chick-fil-A standards and the staff is friendly and helpful. Still odd to have to traverse the Aldi parking lot to get to the drive through or walk through the drive through line to get to the dine-in area of the restaurant, but these are minor inconveniences to get some Chick-fil-A goodness! read more

Torrance Food Crawl #413 This is the third, and newest, Chick-fil-A location in Torrance. My experience here is typical of that at other CfA locations. The best item I've had here is the Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich. A large piece of chicken with a mildly spicy pepper crust, and a choice of several cheeses with Pepper Jack being the one I selected. I find that some CfA sandwiches are on the dry side, but adding a little bit of mayo sandwich in combination with the cheese made this a perfectly good sandwich (4/5). The regular Chicken Sandwich was very plain and needed a lot of added mayo or other sauce to make it more appealing. (3/5) There are breakfast sandwiches which were all just on the average side, with choices of Chicken/Sausage or Biscuits/Muffins. (2/5) When I was at this location when it opened about a year ago, the people working here were all smiling and, even if they didn't actually feel it, behaved as if they were enjoying their job. On my last time here, I noticed that not a single employee was smiling. Now, I don't think people should be 'forced' to smile at work, but I do think I can make a judgment on how much people enjoy working somewhere based on their facial expressions. Does that affect the food quality? Probably not, but it does influence a customer's experience on a visit here. read more

This is for 12/23 for the morning about 8 am. I placed a mobile at 8 am and went to pick it up for curbside at 8:07 am and placed my # into the app. I was waiting all the way to 8:20 am until I had to walk inside to get my order. I asked one of the employees that I placed a mobile order for curbside and that I was waiting for quite a bit now. When I walked in my order was sitting on the curbside counter with no one to bring it out to me. I did let her know that I was going to be late for waiting longer than normal. She told me that they were short staffed and the other employees where talking in a meeting. The food is expensive but good. However, do yourself a favor and avoid this location if at all possible. They never get it right. Today I placed a big order and asked for extra Chick-Fil-A sauce which is the only sauce my family wants. I get to the window and they tell me they need me to pull forward but they tell me not to leave the drive-thru line. So I do. Then the lady behind me gets her food and lays on her horn because I am blocking the drive-thru and she cannot leave. So I go and park in the parking lot like they should have asked me to do in the first place. A couple of minutes later they bring me my food. I get home and find that even though I asked for extra sauce, for $100 worth of chicken they gave me one single tiny container of Chick-Fil-A sauce! Epic fail to say the least. I had a terrible experience tonight with the unprofessional manager named Nathan! There was hair fried in my chicken strip and I politely returned it to receive a full refund when the manager only handed me 7$ and stated that I only returned the chicken strips. omg went to drive-through ordered my food drove up the way they do every other card when they got there my order wasn't ready. I was told to go park and wait so I waited and waited and waited and waited and waited. I see an employee and ask about my order. They said they will go check doesn't come back with an answer. I see another employee ask again. Tell him it's been 22 minutes. You have me sitting here. I have my grandkids. I cannot get out of the car and go check can you please check for me? Walked in and ordered lunch on a busy Tuesday (could see cars lined up in the drive-thru line. Cashier was nice and responded with the classic "My pleasure" after taking our order. We ordered two sandwiches, chicken strips and fries and we were only waiting for 7 minutes. When our order was delivered, the server apologized for making us wait so long! Maybe I've just been conditioned to wait longer nowadays for food but I was taken aback. 7 minutes isn't that bad of a wait especially during lunch rush but we got an apology and they even gave us a free brownie to compensate us for the wait time! This place is amazing! I hope more positive reviews come through. Drive-Thru is very convenient and goes by pretty fast. FOOD: + Love all of Chick-fil-A. My go-to order is the Spicy Chicken Deluxe meal. Favorite sauces are the Chick-fil-A and Polynesian. It fills me up and is really affordable! Plenty of parking in the plaza. For Drive-Thru you need to go around a bit and find your way through the lot to the entrance. SERVICE: + Great people here. I enjoyed all my interactions and appreciate the ones who initiate conversations when I wait for my food. They are hard working and polite. I haven't met one having a sour day leaking their emotions on the customers.
