I foolishly assumed that all chic fil a were the same but they are not. I usually go to the location in Westbury, never a problem Since I was in this rockaway blvd area I needed a quick lunch. Southwest Salad with salsa. That means small tomatoes, then sliced chicken pieces, lettuce , sprinkle of cheese if I recall. Well when I open the salad the chicken looked like something scrapped from the bottom of the pan. The lettuce was dead, no taste, no sprinkle of cheese and few tomatoes. I was so disappointed and afraid to eat the chicken crumbs. Then I thought about it, this chic fil a caters to the enviroment they are in. Mostly labors, and drop byers on the way to the belt parkway. The chicken was horrible.! I will drive all the way to Westbury, my favorite place #1 for my salad from now on. Actually I realize the clients are totally different in this area of Westbury, business people, owners, students, friendly smiling serving you. And absolutely the right quality of south west salad.! Even Roosevelt Field offers a fresh full good salad. I could not believe the chicken was like left overs from the bottom of a pan. NEVER AGAIN. ALL CHIC FIL A ARE NOT THE SAME. Went to this chick fil a because I had been craving it and it's the closest location to me. My order was entirely correct and everything to me tasted 10/10 as well as I got the sauces I asked for. No straw though The only reason i'm taking a star off is that despite the store being mostly empty inside, the order took extra long to be ready even though I ordered again. I realized this was due to the long drive thru lines and those orders being taken care of rapidly. The service however was still nice and everything was fine but I did realize some people next to me were getting frustrated. I used to frequent this location for breakfast.. Portions vary, I guess it depends on who's in the kitchen.. Service also varies, depending on who is at the take out window..some employees here are very pleasant..others not so nice. I don't know who the manager is now..but the last Manager I encountered at the drive thru window several months ago was very rude, maybe she was having a bad day, because she's usually nice. I nicely let her know I didn't appreciate her attitude and she apologized. The drive thru line tends to be long most of the time..if you get lucky you might not encounter a line here "Once in a blue". Service is usually quicker if you go inside, but the doors are locked most of the time during the breakfast rush, so you may not have a choice but to wait in the drive thru line.. read more

I have only ordered through the drive thru at this location so I can't speak to the ambiance other than the area that you finally receive your order is clean. I have never had an issue with the service, wait time nor the food. I have been here when the drive thru line has been long and when it was short, neither had an impact on the level of satisfaction that I had with my order. My orders are consistently accurate; I have never had to spin the block to get anything that I ordered. I always find my Spicy Chicken Deluxe Meal to be BUSTING. The chicken has been moist with good flavor and I have never had any limp lettuce to date! Also let me also point out that I feel like I get bigger pieces of chicken on my sandwiches at this location than at their others. Keep all that 1-star energy over there, I am grateful to receive 5-star experience every time that I have pulled up! PLEASE NOTE: I usually don't review fast food restaurants because I truly don't typically even read them prior to ordering. However, I peeped that this Chik-fil-A had such a low score during my most recent check-in and had to see what was the cause of all the poor ratings. Yelpers have been going through it here and I hope you have been filling out the surveys on the receipts with as much zest as you have been infusing in these Yelp reviews; that's how you get a free sandwich at least for your misfortune. read more

This Chick-fil-A is unlike my experiences at other locations within New York, or the eastern seaboard in general. I have been here on multiple occasions but three stand out. On one occasion, their ice cream machine was out, which meant none of their delicious frostys as an evening treat. I have never had this happen at any of the locations I have been to. Hopefully, they don't fall in the same trap that their competitors are in where it never works. Second, placed a larger catering order, alerted them ahead of time that we were approaching. Upon arrival order was not done and we had to wait additional 30 - 45 minutes. The location was not particularly busy that day, nor was the parking lot or drive-thru line full. During out last visit we placed a typical order for 2 via the app. We went in to get order, however, once again had to wait 30 minutes for it. read more

The worst thing they ever did was bring chic fil a to the north. This is easily the worst chic fil a i have ever been to. Second time visiting. Both visits were a year apart. First visit i was charged an extra 50cents for getting a sunjoy and another 50 cents for ice. Fast forward this second visit the fries were so salty it was inedible. The food is good but my complaint stems from delivery service orders. I have ordered so far through Uber eats 3 times and 2 out of the 3. I have been missing items out of my orders of either the food itself and the sauces that should come with my order. I am not aware who is in charge of filling the online orders but they are doing a horrible job paying attention to reading and then filling the orders. I shouldn't have to make separate orders of the same item just to make sure that I will hopefully receive all of my items. I understand if an influx of customers happen but if you are fulfilling delivery orders especially those that people cannot get back nor send someone back for the least you can do is double check that you are placing all the purchased items in the bag before handing it over. read more

Taking my kids to Chick-fil-A was a special treat for us this Friday. When I arrived,  I waited online patiently and when it was my turn the guy who took my order asked another man to take my order because he didn't want to. When I said I was paying cash the other guy said no you have to take it and when the cashier came to take my order he sighed, he was extremely unwelcoming, and seemed like taking my order was the worst part of his day as if I did something to him. This is my third time coming to Chick-fil-A and it was the worst experience of all. Even McDonalds workers seemed happier than your crew that day. I'm utterly disgusted and even embarrassed that my kids witnessed someone being so rude and unfriendly.  I had my mind set on getting Mac and cheese but that man's attitude made me so scared to even ask for sauce or remember what I wanted because I felt so rushed. I feel robbed of my experience. Specially since I rarely get to visit.  I drove out my way to come here when I could have just went to McDonald's. The worst ever and I've been to locations in several states. Something is missing in the fries. Not sure if it's the oil used but does not taste like any other fries I had from the different locations in different states. Also, they refuse to make fries without salt because they would have to drop a new patch. Bringing food to people in their cars and people cannot move because it's a narrow single lane drive through makes no sense. Keep the food warm until the car reach the window. The staff is not friendly. When someone say thank you, it's manners to say you are welcome. I will never ever give this location any business nor recommend it to anyone. It's a shame, the location is mostly black and is the worst. It's as if the owner does not care but just want the money. The district and regional manager need to look into this location for it gives the franchise a bad name. read more

2.5 stars...I've been to this location 3x since it opened. The situation with the drive thru is always the same - long and slow lines. No way to really leave the line unless you drive over the curb. Mobile ordering does nothing to help you bypass this line either. My past visit on a Friday night at 9:30pm took about 45 mins on the drive thru line. Grilled chicken sandwich tasted good like other locations. But the fries were extra crispy. Almost like they over battered it. Some other review said the same thing about extra crispy fries. My half sweet and half unsweet tea turned out to be an arnold palmer (eg with lemonade) but this has happened to me at other locations too, usually mall ones. Hit and miss whether you'll get all your sauces if you request more than 4. So check your order before driving off! Overall I would still come back just because I love chickfila and if I'm not in the mood to drive the extra half hour to westbury. read more

I use to joke with my friends about never receiving a bad experience at any chik fil a I've ever been to. Well let's just say this place takes the cake. 1st time I came they had no cheese sauce for the fries, the milkshake was watery and the staff was hanging around the drive through window laughing and joking while a long line grew behind my car.. not so bad right? 2nd time I came decided to go inside because the drive through was too long.. as usual they were out of cheese sauce so I ordered a kids meal and a Cobb salad. After waiting about 30 min they finally give me my food I get back to the car only to realize the only things in the bag were the salad, nuggets & fries. No dressing, sauce, fork or toy for my kid. First time at this location, looked pretty nice from the outside and was looking forward to the opening. Inside, a good number of employees, some of them with huge attitude and a lack of desire to serve the customer. Waited too long for my order and upon inquiry was told chicken strips were "on hold." No one knew for how long. Employee refused to go to the kitchen to ask how long the wait would be and punctuated the refusal with some vulgar language. I requested my money back and left. You cannot go inside to order yet, so the only option is the drive-through. The wait times are terrible. That's a common theme in the previous reviews that reigns true. It took a long time for someone to take my order and even longer to wait and receive my food--at least 20 to 30 minutes. Not an ideal experience. This wasn't my first time visiting the location. Previously, I gave them the benefit of the doubt since it's a new location but, still weeks later, they are extremely slow. Additionally, moments after I drove away and got to the light, I decided to grab a fry and realized that the food was actually cold. This is the first time I've had this type of experience at a Chick Fil A. I hope they work on improving the customer experience but for now, I'll hold off on returning until improvements are made. read more

Overall great experience. As we all know this is a brand new location. With that being said, they have an extremely high volume of customers so don't come here if you're in a rush. Give them a chance people! We are so quick to bash each other. Give them w couple of months to be fully staffed and get it together. This is my 4th or 5th and the last time eating a chick-fil-a. They were never very special, but it's food when I'm hungry. To me it's always just been a No frills chicken sandwich. I just had the grilled chicken sandwich at this place and the size of the chicken patty was just pathetic. I'm a man on my way home from work and if I were interested in a children's sandwich, I'd go to McDonald's. The chicken patty didn't reach the edges of the bun in any direction.
