I just wanted you to know about the horrible customer service I received this evening 10-19-23 @ 5:30. I ordered through your drive thru. There was no one outside to take my order so I waited 5 min for someone to come take it. I ordered a number one with no pickles & a spicy chicken sandwich, a milk shake and 2 drinks. I paid for it. I went around to pick up my order, was handed my drinks and asked to go wait in front of the store. I politely refused and stated I would stay in line to wait for my food, as your parking lot is hard to get in & out of. I was told I could either go around front or they could refund my money to me. When I again politely refused, never once raising my voice, I was told that I now had three choices... One: go around front, two: to get a refund, or three: the cops would be called. Is this really how you treat your PAYING customers? By threatening them, for wanting to wait on the food they paid for? It was perfectly fine that I had to wait 5 min for someone to show up and take my order, but I couldn't wait 2 minutes for my food without the cops being called? This is my favorite location. I always use the drive thru because the wait is always fast. I had Rusty Dunn as my service attendant and he was really nice. I feel like the employees here do not get enough recognition. When I received my receipt, the girl was really friendly. Mind you, it has to be 80-90 degrees out. I'd be kind of annoyed if I was standing outside while it's scorching hot so with that being said, the attitude is awesome! When I received my food, I forgot to purchase 2 brownies and when I mentioned it, the workers had no problem adding that on for me. Never had a bad experience with CFA until today. I'm currently STILL waiting on my $22 after 25 minutes. Luckily I'm only going to target afterward and don't actually have anything to do. We both travel for work pretty much weekly all over the state and country. We pretty much always select Chick-Fil-A for breakfast wherever we are because the egg white grill or the scramble bowl without hash browns are pretty much the healthiest high protein options when you have to eat in the car. I would estimate we have been to 120+. Because we are both on the road for work, we do two separate orders for expensing purposes and everyone does it as two orders for the same car and they've never batted an eye. We get here and are told by the person taking the orders in the one lane that's open that they can't do that. Then it became that they won't do that. We explained that we do this all the time without fail. She finally does it. We get to the window and are chastised like children that they don't do that here. We said they must be the only location that doesn't and the lady working the window said "perhaps you should sue us over it." This location on 42nd in particular has fallen off in my experience. The staff are often incompetent and unfriendly. The last 3 times I have gone to this place they tell me to go around to the front and they will bring me my food. And literally every single time I wait for over 20 minutes and end up having to walk in and get my food or I'll get my food after waiting and the order is all wrong. The last time there wasn't even a line at all and they still told me to pull around to the front and like usual got stuck waiting and waiting and when they finally brought my food it was wrong and I had to get out and walk in and get it figured out which took another 15 -20 minutes. This location used to have the friendliest upbeat staff and now it's just young kids who have no social skills and seems like they don't know how to talk to people. Continuously one of the worst Chick-Fil-A locations I've ever visited, and I've been to locations across the country. Rude staff, long wait times, inability to handle busy surges, drive through location spills out into the parking area of the shopping center and results in blockage of entire aisleways. The other locations in Odessa staffed by friendly, upbeat employees which is expected from a cult like business like Chick-Fil-A, but apparently they need to re-brainwash this group, because their attitudes are tacky. They're unhelpful, unfriendly, clueless, lackluster, and lack any type of common sense or sense of urgency. They can't even manage a "My Pleasure!" That's Chick-Fil-A 101. You're more likely to get a grunt in reply. I've learned to avoid this location regardless of convenience. I'd rather drive 15-20 minutes out of my way to get some of God's chicken. Dear Chick-fil-a management, I am very disappointed with my experience of ordering curbside through your app. Furthermore, I find the location of Odessa Town Center to be continuously disappointing and the customer service experience I received from Gaby was not acceptable. I am suffering from a poor back and it is not pleasant to venture out multiple times in a day. Also, I thought using the app to order would be more convenient considering my current back issues as I would limit the time spent sitting in my car, as well as the accuracy of my order as it is clearly spelled out via the app. I was only missing one item I ordered - a 6 count of chocolate chip cookies. Of course, I didn't known the cookies were missing until I returned home, which was an error on my part to check the order accuracy as this location is notorious for errors and missing items. Upon calling Odessa Town Center the first time my phone call was being transferred to a manager by Sebastian, I was hung up on. I called again and was successfully transferred to the manager - Gaby. I explained that I was only missing the one item from my order but I could not return to pick it up as my back condition. She placed me on hold, only to return and tell me that I would have to physically return to the store to even receive a refund for the one item since I paid by card via the app. I almost wanted to lose my nerve, but I kept my composure and explained that I could not go to the store nor would I ever be returning to the store. Her response was less than genuine or concerned - "I'm so sorry to hear that. Hope you have a great day." I get it. I work in the food/bev industry. This location has a ton of volume and churns through orders and makes a profitable business. What I don't understand is the complete lack of regard for customer loyalty or even customer service. I went to college in Columbus, Georgia, I have dined several times at the Dwarf House in Newnan (LOVE IT!) and I am familiar with the Chick-fil-a story and experience. They usually hold the bar to the highest of expectations for food, quality and service, but I am sorry to say that no employee during this visit exuded these qualities, and this is evident from the management's response to my issue. I really hope the $7.39 6 pack Chocolate Chunk Cookie was worth all this. I have no interest in returning to this location, seeing this manager on duty, or shelling money out to literally have no regard for my experience. Odessa Town Center will continue on with success, serving people that hustle through the drive-thru and are willing to deal with the hurdles to get an accurate order and all items purchased. I'm just a measly $37.45 order on a busy Friday. But I will take that $37.45 and spend it elsewhere. If you mobile order or order in store you will be waiting a minimum of 40 minutes (not an exaggeration) before receiving any food. They cannot get an order right if lives depended on it. Every order I've ever made here is always wrong, missing fries, missing meals, missing drinks, missing sauces. The staff is all teenagers. I've only heard terrible things about the owner of the franchise. I have no clue why Odessians put up with this. The chicken that makes it out is always low quality, tough, and tasting weird.
