This location seriously struggles with consistency. Half the time chicken is soggy and not crispy and the most disappointing is there ice cream cones. Far too often they are tiny. Like for a child. I have been told in the past that the guidelines are 3 twists but now they seem to be just 2 and really dissapointing. Would appreciate it if someone can confirm this for me once and for all. I have been to most other NYC locations and don't have these issues. There are so many locations now. Decided to stop by this location on my way back home. Service was fast and prompt. However I was missing a drink even though I ordered the chick fil a deluxe so that was upsetting. At this location, it was the first time they asked if I wanted lettuce, tomatoes, and American cheese in my sandwich. I was surprised they asked me that because other locations never asked me that. They also asked me if I wanted fries which should be included in the deluxe so I was bewildered. The food was alright since I had to eat it an hour later after I got home so the fries became soggy, which was expected. I stopped by to pick up a mobile order and was relieved to have waited less than 10 minutes to for the order. There was plenty of seating at this location, but there weren't a lot of open tables on a weekday at dinnertime. The customer service was nice and fast. The restaurant was packed, and there wasn't enough seating for people coming in and ordering. I went to the W22st 6th Ave location. Staff was friendly. Food was disappointing. The nuggets were literally the size of my thumb to knuckle , tiny, and not worth the $9.45 for 12, minuscule nuggets. They were crispy and tasted good but the size took away from that. The fries were soft and hardly fried. There was hardly any browning and they were limp. The sauces were good. Chick-fil-A has opened locations in busy shopping neighborhoods. This location at 700 Avenue of the Americas is very close to where I shop with my daughter. She is a huge fan of Chick-fil-A. I have to admit the chicken sandwich is delicious. I made the mistake of reading the ingredients a long time ago. I rarely eat here but when I do I like a Sausage Breakfast Biscuit. One Saturday hanging out with the kid I made an exception. I like the chicken sandwich very plain and they always get it right. Who doesn't like Chick-fil-A? Those who haven't tried their incredibly good chicken sandwich, maybe? I'm a fan of their spicy chicken sandwich... that pickle added that crunch... so good. They opened one near my work and my coworkers have become regulars real fast! They even go for breakfast... which I skip, almost always. That's just over-doing it! LOL Lines out the door the first week, and during peak lunch hour but crowd has died down a bit. Use their mobile order app - it's quicker and takes only 5 mins to get your food. The guy who took my order was nice enough Went to a table... it had dried ketchup on it... went to the other side, it did too. The girl who was calling the names as the orders are up had a thick accent so there were a fair amount of "who" and "did you say ____" from the crowd. Another problem is the receipts that have the peoples names on them, taped to the bag... she put them facing away from the customers.... Anyway, went back up bc salad didn't come with a fork. Really surprised to see the bad reviews here - I grew up in the south so I've had a lifetime of Chick-Fil-A (it started in GA), and I'm very happy to finally get the food & drinks I love here in NYC. I think there have been a lot of improvements since the last reviews as well. I just stopped in today, and I was greeted with a smile, along with mints and handwipes. I also received a surprise reward in app, so be sure to use it when ordering. I ordered via the app and picked it up in minutes. There are tables on the street now so you can also sit & eat outside. Tonight it's have the 1st time I came to this location the experience was not so good. The one lady that helped me was kind of friendly, but when I got my food the sub par quality was a shocker. When I took it back to the counter the attitude that came from the shift manager was unnecessary. My BF also had a problem with his meal and ended up getting a refund due to the reaction from the staff. I chalked it up to them being overwhelmed with the amount of customers came in, so I tried them again. This time the staff was a little nicer the lines was shorter but the store itself was a little dirty. For new location this was the unexpected. But this time my sandwich was fresh and tasty. The store is fine, great location, staff friendly and professional. Got my food pretty quickly. The food seems pretty bad though; of course it could just be a matter of taste. I had the basic chicken sandwich and it tasted to me like salt + fat on a bun. The optional toppings are mostly sugar / corn syrup with oil or water. I looked up the nutritional content on their website and the salt content of that one sandwich is 1400 mg, not far from the recommended total daily intake of 2000 mg (some say 2300 mg). Anyway, no wonder that it tasted so salty to me. IF you LIKE Chick-fil-A food -- and they do seem to have lots of fans -- then I would certainly recommend this location! Personally I would go well out of my way to avoid it. read more

Service and staff here were quick and pleasant. Once we got back we opened our food and realized both of our sandwiches were over cooked. The flavor was definitely missing that signature CFA taste. Fries were the only thing keeping this afloat. Their chicken sandwich is overhyped. On it's own it doesn't taste that great. You definitely need one of the sauce packets - either the chick fil a sauce or the polynesian sauce to go with the sandwich. You can also let the cashier know if you don't want pickles in your sandwich. FYI - you only get one free sauce packet per sandwich so if you want another sauce be prepared to pay extra. Pretty big location at Flatiron. There is outdoor seating available. read more

Chick-fil-A has some of my favorite fast food chicken, and I'm glad they start serving lunch at 10:30 am. I'm clearly not the only one, because the last time I was at this location, a lot of the tables were already full before 11 am. They get really busy here, but the line moves quickly, plus there's always the mobile order option. The service has been very friendly and more attentive than other locations, and the employees are always around cleaning and helping out. Every time we come here to eat, there is no where to sit while tables remain occupied by people who have long finished their meals or people who are not even eating here at all. It was a pleasure to see Chick Fil A after a day of walking and shopping in NYC. I was craving the mac and cheese as I had it a few days before in Atl airport. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food arrived in a timely fashion. I was not impressed by the mac and cheese. It did not have the creaminess that i am used to. It was dry and did not have the baked cheese crust inside or on top I am used to. I have had it in Birmingham,Nashville,Atl metro and this was the worse. The sandwich was good. My fries were ok. I normally request double fried at other locations. They seemed confused how to do. The location was clean and so were the restrooms I doubt if i would go back as 17usd for a deluxe meal and side of mac is bit pricy. Expecially since the same meal normally cost me 13usd at airports and cheaper in stand alone stores in the southern area. read more

I was so happy to see this location open up. It's right near a credit union I bank with and I needed to get lunch one day as I was passing by. One note is that seating is at a premium; space is limited here. The upside is staff is right on top of keeping the dining area clean. It wasn't difficult or too long a wait to get my order and the food was the same quality as any other Chick-Fil-A. I'm not wild about the NYC pricing and lack of space but maybe it's more sedate a different time of day? I'll have to find out sometime. read more
