That right there told me they don't mind being different in the style of food they serve! After checking over the menu full of wraps and burgers amongst a plethora of other bar food I ended up getting some wings to try and the house made chips. I got half my wings in the BBQ flavor and the other Buffalo. Being honest the wings weren't anything special but they did hit the spot and the BBQ sauce wasn't anything special to me on the wings but if it was used in some pulled pork or ribs I believe I would enjoy it more. The buffalo sauce was really good and had just enough heat to need the ranch here and there. The house made chips were good, not overly seasoned and not over cooked either. The place is small but has a handful of high top round tables and a few bigger square tables in the front with a decent bar strip with plenty of bottles and beers on tap. The pool table in the side room looked like a great area to hang around and play some pool while enjoying some beers with the company of friends. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, and flaky and soft on the inside. It's the type of thing that I didn't want to stop eating, because the combination of textures was just perfect. Handhelds are served with a side, and I chose the side Caesar salad. It was an OK Caesar, and it did its job to satisfy my CaeSal craving. It comes with red onions on top, which is a choice. The service here was great. The restaurant has a big bar in the middle, with TVs showing sports. The whole place is surrounded by windows, so you can see out into downtown Muncie.

Our waiter was pulled in lots of directions. He did his best to manage the three large parties he had. It was disappointing that the manager and/or another person didn't step up to help this guy.

Many tables were open, but was told there would be a 10-15 minute wait. Were not allowed to sit inside the air conditioned restaurant, but were told to wait in the non-air conditioned waiting area. Waited about 20 minutes. While the salad bar was outstanding, it needed cleaned up and many items needed replenished. Got our waters and one of the mugs was leaking. Tracked down the waitress and she replaced it. My father is a veteran and told the waitress he got a discount. She acknowledged but the receipt did not reflect the discount. Clearly short staffed, and had to get up to find the waitress to request a check and to go box. I get that there are staffing problems but the elderly have difficulty in non air conditioned areas in 80+ temps. Will go back, as this has been one of our favorites for my Dad. Hope the staffing and salad bar issues will be addressed next month.

The Tortellini al Forno had lots of flavor and was very cheesy. We did ask for it with grilled chicken and didn't get any. The waitress explained that there's a language barrier with the kitchen and mistakes like that are common. She was very understanding of the situation, as were we. After leaving, my partner did start to feel sick on the drive home. I would love to come back to try their pizzas since we went the pasta route this time.
