If you know me, I'm 100% Chick Fil A all the time breakfast, lunch, dinner - Monday thru Saturday, and oh yes... SUNDAY TOO!!!! Went thru the drive thru placed a big order because it was Saturday dinner and then I needed my Sunday lunch! The line was relatively short for a CFA line which was cool, the dude taking the order was great. Read back the order, no issues with him. The girl at the window was awesome. Great conversation while waiting for the food to be bagged. After a few minutes we get our stuff and get home... OH NO!!!! The Sunday sandwiches are MIA!!!! Thankfully we live only 5 minutes away, went back and went inside. Told the young guy there what happened, no issues at all. Packed up for fresh sandwiches without any problems. The inside was clean as always. I understand it was a big order filled with combo meals and then a stack of extra sandwiches so it may have looked like two separate orders. No problem. Lovely workers and service, the food is incredible and amazing decor and feeling inside. Placed mobil order at 6:46 PM. Drive to restaurant no place to park in the parking lot or the parking lot next door. Followed instructions by turning on blinkers at nearest parking area clearly visible from restaurant. Waited. . . 7:10 receive message a team member is on their way. Waited. . .7:18 finally an open mobile pick up spot, I parked. After waiting several more minutes I asked a passing team member about my order. . . much more waiting. At 7:46 PM I go inside restaurant to request a refund. When asked why I explained my wait time. No explanation or apology offered this tells me the manager Blake obviously does not care. He does however offer me my food that has been sitting in the window for who knows how long. I declined and depart this CFA for the last time ever. So They said they didn't have all mild for the family meal! so they were going to give us mixed chicken or we would have to wait. So we took the mixed chicken!!! It was over cooked & old.... they gave us mostly all old dry wings and 1 breast it was soggy not crispy!!! my bill was over $40. SO happy my group of friends decided to stop by here and eat! It looked pretty packed inside, but in all honesty it's a Saturday and we waited less than 10min. All 3 registers were open and the one filtered through pretty fast. The girl we had seemed a little new and almost forgot our drinks, but no biggie we reminded her...and at least she didnt forget our dipping sauces ;) (which included Polynesian sauce, buffalo sauce, honey mustard, and bbq sauce for my boyfriend and I). The food was delivered to us at the table which was awesome. I saw the receipt and it had my name and the description of the clothes I was wearing so I'd be easy to find. No idea the cashier was even taking note of that and I really like their system for this!!! To my surprise there's table service because this young lady asked to refill some drinks at our table (and had perfect timing). Terrible!! That's all I can say. Do not go to this location. If you are in clay county area go to the chic fil a in Fleming Island. The Fleming island store will get your order correct. I have been to the Middleburg location 5 times and every-time they have messed up my order. The lack of management was made clear when I called to complain about my order. A girl named "Kylie" stated she was the area manager when I repeated it back to her she mumbled something under her breath so I asked her to repeat herself again. Kylie then stated she was "like the manager for today". You either are a manager or your not. It sounds like she's not. Very unprofessional, inexperienced and not helpful. I am only writing this complaint due to the conversation I had with her. I understand working in a kitchen is difficult and there is a lot going on. The staff who bags the food there has NEVER given me the right order. It's pretty fascinating to see how many times they can mess it up. I hope Joe Mayo and an actual manager will see this comment. This store needs a lot of help. Hopefully someone from the franchise office will come down and retrain their staff. This has been the Chick Fil A I have been going to for the last two years (since I moved here) and the last three times I've visited, usually once a week or every ten days, there have been issues with my order (missing fries, wrong drink, etc). I understand a hiccup every now and then. Shoot, I have worked plenty of service industry jobs. But three times in a row in under a month? C'mon, guys. This place is an absolute joke. The management is a joke. They expect you to work like a dog for absolutely nothing pay wise. Oh and if you don't work 60 plus hours a week you aren't working enough. No benefits such as paid time off etc. they like to hire teenagers cause they can pay them the bare minimum. They are short staffed ALL the time because no one wants to work like a dog for $9 a hour. The teenagers also just stand around and do nothing literally all day. Love how this "religious" organization tries act as though they are so great when in fact they are just as bad as most other places. Hell whataburger is better. Starts off with way better pay and actually ALLOWS you to take your breaks in facts makes you. Unlike chick fil la where you work 12-14 hour days with no breaks. Food sucks always super slow. I Always have a pleasant experience with CFA. But this location blew our MINDS on Saturday. Traveling to St. Augustine From Georgia we were starved and in a big hurry. Grabbing some lunch.. right at lunch hour.. (poor planning on our part) Double lines wrapped around the building.. (drive thru). we were in and out, with our delicious meal in minutes. The remainder of the drive to reach our hotel, we raved about the staff, the food, and the service that we so rarely get to experience. I love Chick-fil-a & have spent an exorbitant amount of money at this specific restaurant over the years; because the food is awesome & usually it is a pleasant experience. I order online & ensure that everyone in my family has their Order submitted just the way they like it, Chick-Fil-A gets the payment & we get the food we wanted, EASY DAY! Today was not that kind of day. Discovered there was a missing sandwich when we got home & went to distribute the food. Immediately looked in the app to find the option to report a missing item to be credited the $ back for what was missing, that is not an option & the FAQs instructed me to call the specific store to resolve the issue. Called, was told to come back to get missing item. Went back & waited over 30 minutes in line, had a staff member ask if I was still waiting after 26 minutes. Told her I was still waiting & when that member relayed that info to the girl that 'took my Order', she replied that they were REEEEALLY busy & my food wasn't ready yet. Needing to get home I waited in line again & walked back to the girl that was initially replacing the missed item & told her that I couldn't wait any longer & I would just take a refund. Within 20 seconds she hands me a bag & insists that it had been waiting on the pickup shelf, that my name had been called multiple times, but I just didn't come up to get my food. *I was never more than 7 feet away & didn't miss the call for my replacement sandwich.* Whatever, took the bag & left. Wouldn't have been so aggravated if there was an actual adult supervising (the entire staff appeared 20 y/o or younger) & if there weren't 3-4 employees in uniform hanging out at near the counter, grabbing at each other, screwing off & distracting the ones that were working. If they were so 'REEEEALLY busy', then employees in uniform (I'm assuming they were on break?) probably shouldn't be in loitering in an area where there is a lot of work to be done if they are not actually working. This place is usually phenomenal, but the employees on shift tonight need someone knowledgeable & professional running the show. So I normally hate to leave poor reviews, but this was a surprising visit and needs to be addressed. The day, Wednesday. The time, apparently 10:31 AM (some of you may see where I am going with this.) Anyway, we drive in on the way to a doctor visit thinking, let's grab a quick biscuit or some minis on our way since we'd had nothing for breakfast. Ha. Enter Drive-thru guy. We roll up at, what was according to Drive-thru guy, 10:31 and were told, "yeah, we stop serving breakfast at 10:30 and you're a minute late. Oh, but you can order breakfast if you come back tomorrow." Granted, this kid was way too young to have seen the movie 'Falling Down', but even had I not seen it, I would have trepidation galore about telling someone they are one minute too late to order something from the breakfast menu. Now I know we could have gone inside, had we had time, but we didn't at that time, so mea culpa. Bottom line is not really the whole whoops we were late, but more the lack of options presented in that situation. Past 2 visits have not been great. Not sure if there are new managers or what, but there has been a difference in service. The logic that is going into the way the orders are being handed out and then having to wait on either the food or drinks is crazy. Today it was 5 minutes after I received our food that I received our drinks. Also, when you pull up to the pickup window, people that are behind you are receiving their orders. So they have to wait for cars to pull up and leave before they can leave with cold food. The amount of "deliverers" in the drive thru are a lot. They are more interested in talking to each other or to their friends in the drive thru line. Just saying, it use to be a better location to visit. read more

Starting to become disappointed in this location. Second time in a row of giving very detail instructions and getting the totally opposite of what was requested. How hard is it to put extra pickles and NO butter on a sandwich or to make chicken gor biscuit extra crispy and on the side NOT on the biscuit? Evidently very difficult here these days. Aggravated that I try to use the app for "quicker service" without having to worry about my picky eaters' food coming out with stuff on it that they won't eat..but consistently EVERY time I have used the app to place an order it still takes over 20 minutes to get the food...and something is always missing from the order. THIS morning, it was literally 41 minutes from when I paid until I got the food. Of course I always have to go park near the drive through & they walk it out because they can't have me blocking the drive-through that long...but the "convenience" isn't there when I have to heave-up & bounce my butt out of the car anyway to get the rest of my order from inside after they have already 'delivered' the meals. #hangry #aintnobodygottimefordat! read more
