I just so happened to be in the area and I was hungry and noticed chick fil a so I had to stop. I had went through the drive thru due to not wanting to get out of my car. I know lazy of me lol. But service was definitely quick and went very smoothly. I always enjoy how the chick fil an employees are there. They are the reason why I continue to come back. I was able to order my food but as I was trying to pay with a coupon the lady told me it didn't work. So she told me I would have to go to the pickup order to pay since it wasn't working. When I got to the pick up window the employee had brought the food out to me which I asked about if I needed to pay and told them about the employee saying it didn't go through. He said that it did go through and I in fact did pay. My food was fresh and the fries were hot. I did not have any complaints about the food I had received. They gave me the correct amount of sauces that I needed for my food. The drive thru signs were easy to read and decor around the building was nice. read more

Funny story. They are remodeling the gym and the waterfountain is down temporarily. I forgot to bring eater with me. Since I was going to the gym didn't have any cash or CC with me. I stopped by McDonald's drive thru and asked for a cup of water. They wanted to charge me 0.35 I said I have nothing on me and they would not give me a cup of H2O... Went 2 does down to Chick-fil-A, asked for a cup of water,the young lady gave me a cup of ice water, I said thankyou, she said "my pleasure" with a smile. No charge, no crazy looks. So instead of eating at home which was my plan, as soon as I got off work I headed straight for Chick-fil-A! Thanks for simply being kind. For several months now that I have to be at work early early in the morning, this location has been my saving grace. The staff is always so friendly and prompt. My fave is the egg white grill. I appreciate being able to have access to the app and it makes my mornings so much easier and helpful rather than in a drive through line I always have the curbside pickup. read more

I have always had great experiences at this location but today I was treated very mean I had an issue about not receiving my drink timely that escalated. I also said customer is always right Jaya the manager told me Well not at this store. I had every right to be upset. I spent $16.55 for my order that I didn't get to enjoy. After being upset how I was treated, I asked for a refund for my food and my drink that I didn't get that's when she said well we can refund you for the drink. I said I would like all of my money back and I still have the food in the bag right here if I need to upload that photo as well I didn't appreciate it. All this was about the principal maybe not to her but The customer is not always right but in a business aspect there would have been a different way of de-escalating the making me more upset or feel of because you wanted me to calm down in front of your other guest. By now, it's no secret that I am a fan of the Chick-fil-A chain. I wasn't aware of this eastside Indianapolis location until I was driving by this evening on an errand and happened to spot it while I was searching for a place for dinner. There's a general consistency to most Chick-fil-A spots. The menu is, to my knowledge, the same nationwide. Generally speaking, the approach to the drive-thru is the same in that there's typically two rows that merge into one with employees stationed outside to take orders and help expedite things. Directly off East Washington Street, this location has the two lanes. They wrap around the building. Once you've ordered, you drive around the building and merge toward the drive-thru window. This one was a bit unique in that employees stood inside a small shelter-type building to take orders. I believe there was only one employee for each lane - as someone who typically goes to Keystone, this is a bit different but it worked pretty well. I ordered a 3-piece chicken strip meal upsized with an unsweetened iced tea. The drive-thru moved quickly and my order was accurate. It wasn't the best meal I've had at a Chick-fil-A, it seemed a little less than fresh, but overall it was consistent with what I've come to expect. I did not dine in on this occasion, though likely would on a future visit. The exterior seemed a bit different from other Chick-fil-A locations, however, all the familiar signage was present. The two employees I met were friendly and helpful. I suppose the enthusiasm was a notch below expectations, though I'd still take it over the vast majority of fast food experiences. Overall, this was solid if not necessarily remarkable. If the food would have been a bit more fresh, I'd have likely gone an extra star. However, this is a very solid 3-star experience and I won't hesitate to return when I'm in the area again. read more

I would like to contact the franchise owner about their employees. I contacted corporate office and they couldn't do anything to assist me. I have been to this location on east Washington street five times and all 5 times I was given the wrong order, shorted something and treated with disrespect or was literally told by a management staff, "so, what do you want me to do about it".... When I made a complaint about not getting my order. This place is a giant joke!! Don't bother trying to get what you paid for. Don't bother trying to get replacements. Don't bother trying to get an apology. Washington street businesses are bad in general but most don't charge what Chick-fil-A does and most try to make your orders right with exception to this restaurant. Corporate said this was privately owned and they would attempt to make contact with the owner and I should hear back something 3 to 5 days later. I not only did not hear back from the owner, but I called corporate a second time and was told that the owner just did not care, Or he would've reached out to me. I guess that tells you exactly how this particular Chick-fil-A feels about our hard earned money. The food is good and service is great. Milkshake was good and fresh fries were good too. Maybe some other people don't like it but it is good. My only complaint is that the bathroom was not very clean. But it is still a great place to eat at. Even though it can cost more money than you think. I think it is worth the extra money. I am in and out of their drive thru in under six minutes! (Yep I timed it just for kicks and giggles). The fries were hot and perfectly salted. The lemonade was tart. Short review: Slow and disorganized. We did the drive through, and it took over 30 minutes to get our order. I would have just driven off and let them keep the money, except once you're in the drive through you cannot get back out. You. Are. Trapped. Orders also came out in weird patterns with cars halfway through the line getting their orders ... when you can't pull out to leave, that is terrible way to do things. Food at this Chik-Fil-A was fine last night.. HOWEVER, for starters the girl that took my order (couldn't be more than 18) put my name as "Jaylen" when my name is Jon. WTF? She then told me my total was 10.49 MINUS tax. Taxes are only "minused" from your paycheck. I thought that was strange and asked if I'm getting a discount and she said she always says "minus tax." Bless her heart. Anyways, I decided ok whatever. But I end up holding up everyone in line cause the next lady keeps calling out Jaylen when I have no idea why they're saying that. My family loves chickfila but this is the worst location! It is worth the 20 minute drive to go to Greenfield or Southport. Your food will be done around the same time. The only thing they got right in my order was the Polynesian sauce. I redeemed a grilled chicken sandwich through the app. What a waste of so many points. I ordered 2 grilled sandwiches, a large fry, and a 12 count grilled nugget with Polynesian and sweet and spicy Sriracha. The kid seemed flustered the entire time. When I said 'Can I please get about 4 of the Srirachas.' He responded 'I already got that' But clearly he did not. Since I live on the east side, I figured I'd give this location a shot. In short: drive to the Southport Road location. It's worth it. I consistently use curbside as an option and this apparently isn't offered at the East Washington location, despite it being available in the app and signs are posted in the parking lot. The inside of the store reminded more of a derelict McDonalds than the friendly/clean customer service so frequently experienced at other Chick-fil-a locations. Upon receiving my food, my drink had been forgotten, and the food was lukewarm as I'd been waiting in my car for about 10 minutes after the app said my order was being brought out.
