Sometimes I just want something quick and this Chick-fil-A location never disappoints. Definitely recommend ordering ahead either by picking up in the store or through the express drive thru. Around lunch/dinner time, the lines can get really long. Their food is great! Warm and doesn't get cold quickly which is a plusss! I got through the drive thru pretty quickly and received my food in less than 10 minutes. They have a new seasonal beverage! Watermelon Mint Sunjoy. Perfect for the summer time. I came to visit my mom and am working from her house. My mom is in her 80s and I love to cook for her while I'm here so we can add a bunch of good meals to her freezer. My mobile order could not be fulfilled on a breakfast order and they tried to force a substitute on me and when I stated I prefer a refund for the items that could not be fulfilled I was told they don't do refunds and there are no other items that can be substituted except for what they were offering. So essentially it's like they stole my money because I did not get the refund for those items and I did not accept the substitution because I actually hate that particular item that they were trying to force upon me. If I could rate this particular location a ZERO I would. The fact that my order could not be fulfilled and I couldn't get a refund for those items and those items only is mind boggling. I love Chik fil A, and the newly renovated store on Saint James in Goosecreek is definitely an amazing Chik Fil A team! Today, I ordered a regular chicken sandwich and waffle fries. It was shear perfection! Like I mentioned, I love Chik Fil A anyway but today, when I opened the sandwich container, the bun was beautiful, the chicken seemed freshly cooked, as well as the fries. Nothing EXPRESS about express pickup! Ordered 30 biscuits at 6:40 am. Arrived at 7:50 am to be told "It'll be about 15 minutes." 1) There is nothing in the app that lets you select a pickup time. 2) Logic would say that if I can select a time, and the first instruction that appears once the order is processed is "Head to the store," they must be making it right now. 3) Why is the dining room still closed??? Chick-fil-A locations are always chaotic and due to the limited options for exiting/entering the parking lot here can make the ordering experience here frighteningly chaotic. But since COVID, it seems every visit shows Chick-fil-A corporate working to innovate new and better ways to keep the Chick-fil-A ordering experience fast and easy. But beyond corporate changes, the staff here always has a great attitude! And regularly goes above and beyond to be helpful. I know that's the Chick-fil-A corporate and franchise culture but I love to be able to share experiences where that has been true. Last time I went through the mobile order line, the vehicles in front of me where waiting on large orders and we're definitely not moving. But without having to ask, the staff member who delivered my food instructed me to wait a moment while she moved the cones for me to get out. Came to this location for lunch yesterday and was happy to not feel like I'd be waiting in line forever; while it was packed for lunch the staff kept the line moving rather fast and we ordered in no time. The staff was super. The cashier brought out our drinks we ordered, another crew member brought us our food, and another member refilled out drinks. This is a difficult post because we are huge Chick Fil A fans and have eaten at numerous ones across the country. While this location has polite employees, is always clean inside and manages the drive through with success, the fried chicken leaves much to be desired. The rest of the food items are delicious. However, the fried chicken (whether on a biscuit or sandwich) as well as the nuggets, is always over cooked. It's always dark brown (appearing burned) and tastes like it's been cooked in old oil. While we are within walking distance, we have consistently been driving to the Rivers Avenue location since their chicken is golden and perfectly breaded. read more

Went thru the drive thru Saturday morning, ordered 2 chicken mini meals with cokes to drink and a chicken burrito and peach milkshake. When I got to the window they handed me my food and asked me to pull up while they fixed the drinks. I pulled up, looked inside the bag and realized the burrito was stamped sausage burrito. I called an employee to the window, I told her that I ordered a chicken burrito not a sausage burrito. She said she would get me a chicken burrito when she brought my drinks, but to just keep the burrito because she could not take the bag since I already touched it. She brought my drinks and my burrito out, and I drove away. While I was stopped at the light, I looked inside the bag and the burrito said sausage burrito. I was just going to let it go, but was like No, how hard is it to get a chicken burrito?! I had to loop back around the restaurant, turning into Lowe's to pull back into the restaurant. As I pulled up an employee came out and asked me if I was Maureen, I said no I just left the drive-through and my order was messed up. She asked what the problem was, once again I explained that I ordered a chicken burrito and I had two sausage burritos. She said I will get you the correct one, you don't have to get out of the car. I waited, a few minutes later she brings me out a bag, I opened up the bag and it isn't stamped sausage burrito so I thought it was good. My mistake!!! I should've checked it before I drove away, now 20 minutes later I had three sausage burritos. I called and asked to speak to the manager, Abby took my call and said how sorry she was, she remembered my order and was sorry for the miscommunication. told her I did not understand how three separate employees did not understand the difference between a sausage burrito and a chicken burrito and as the manager I suggested she figure out the issue. I told her that the miscommunication just cost them money and wasted three burritos. She asked me if I was near and if I came back I'd get the right burrito. I had already wasted enough time and was not about to turn around again! I asked her if she could refund me for my order in which I was told no because she did not have my card, she said if I gave her my email address tied to my app she would send me a reward for a breakfast meal. Really?! That's all you offer after 3 of your employees screwed up?! AND, here it is Wednesday and I do not have any rewards on my Chick-fil-A app!!! I don't have an issue with the food. The food is good and the time it takes to get your food is improving with the drive through lines allowing you to use the app to order ahead. My issue is with the Tax rate they are using. I was charged 10% sales tax. Look at your receipts people. They are charging 2% more than the standard 8% sales tax. My order was $8.15 and the tax assessed was $0.82. 10 percent of 8.15 is 0.815 or $0.82 if you round up. I spoke with Mat one of the directors of the Chick-Fil-A of the Goose Creek, SC location who said he'd look into it. read more
