This Chick-Fil-A sits on Murfreesboro Road across from the Kroger and for the most part, is your standard CFA location. I have been here a few times, all via the drive thru and never had an issue. As with most CFA's they tend to buy the smallest piece of land and operate one of the busiest businesses in the area! With that being said, the area is small, but mighty. The drive is the updated two lane drive thru that is staffed by folks outside on occasion. Even with long lines, service times are still excellent. I have a few constants at CFA, the number 1 with a sweet tea and a cookies and cream shake. Never had issues with any of it, especially the shake, which always hits the spot! Service is solid, as you would expect. While most of my visits are drive thru, I have popped inside and the space is always clean and in good condition. Overall, solid CFA. read more

This is my first time trying this location, it is only half a mile from my house but I usually just stop on my way home from work at the Mallory Lane location. The drive thru line was very short and we promptly pulled up to order. Due to what is going on right now they had it listed that they would have a limited menu. I had only come to pick up some milkshakes for dessert, so I was worried that they would not have the ice cream machine on. Thankfully this is Chick-fil-A and not McDonald's and I was reassured I could get my chocolate milkshake. Service was very quick and the staff was pleasant the chocolate shake was delicious and was topped with a cherry and whipped cream. Sadly this is probably the worst Chick-fil-A I have ever been to. The food was not fresh. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and it tasted a little bit like chemicals, and the bun was smashed and crusty on one side. We had to ask for new fries as they were not completely cooked, and we were surprised that the person checking us out did not respond when we greeted him upon entering. I needed coffee in the worst way, so my wife and I stopped at a brand new place, Chick-fil-A, for breakfast. It may have been chilly outside, but, inside, it was WOW!! The decor was cherry & bright and the folks behind the counter were helpful and welcoming. Why, for those who brought kids, there was even a playroom. My breakfast was a cup of their hot, steaming coffee and a chicken, egg ad cheese bagel. My wife started off the day with the hash brown scramble bowl. We then took our seats and our food was quickly delivered to our table. Surprisingly, my eggs were nice and warm- just right, in fact. The eggs and cheese really played well together. My wife said that the size of her scramble bowl was perfect. Now to rate this Chick-fil-A. The store was bright and the staff was welcoming. The coffee was excellent and both of our meals were scrumptious. Still, food served in paper doesn't deserve five stars. Four stars for Chick-fil-A. read more

This location is great!! If you have an entire audio book to listen to make sure to go to the drive through!! I made I through half of the Bible this morning!! Also be sure to bring several full gas cans so you can keep your car from running out of gas. I only used 6 of the 7 I brought!! If you couldn't tell... the drive through was the slowest experience I have ever had at a Chick-fil-A... 40 minutes and I was the 6th or 7th car in line. read more

Last night we ate in the dining of this chick 7:50 pm. It took awhile to get our food but that was fine we were visiting and talking anyway. The food was hot and fresh. At 8:10 pm a middle age lady worker began putting the chairs on the tables around us as preparing for closing. We then checked to see if we had the closing time wrong but nope they didn't close til 9 pm. By 8:20 pm she had mopped all around us and we were cornered in. This wasn't a damp floor. The floor was very wet. At 8:30 we took the hint to leave and both compacted trash cans were pulled and with a trash bag on the floor. I understand wanting to go home but don't be rude. Keep in mind as we left people were still coming in the restaurant. This is second time we have experienced rude behavior at this restaurant. Update: it's growing pains, but I've reset earlier assumptions and dropped a star from the rating. Most folk know the brand: McDonald's for cows and a restaurant that values a day off. But, in the past two weeks I've now experienced peak hours for lunch. Forget my early hope that load sharing between locations might soften the blow. Newness and inexperience is apparent in the stress levels at the front end. Short of the front end not paying attention to verbal order details (e.g. a solo sweet tea for an order of unsweet tea with lemonade) my food orders have been good. I've not experienced the grossosity demonstrated in the only photo (as of this update) - a hairy salad. The Hwy 96/Murfreesboro Rd is Franklin's newest (and long overdue) Chick-fil-A franchise. It sits on the gravesites of Eckerd and Rite Aid drugstores (I wonder if we might even hear those chains rattle beneath our feet on a late night!) Limited traffic access limited successes of those past ventures, but the cows have mooooved home to roost. Completely razed, the space is brand spanking new from rocks to rooftop. The location is built in the staid image of its ancestors. Same team focus. Same quality footprint. Same menu...ok... same new kale-infused menu that dissed and pitched the founder's original side items (and will keep me buying waffle fries until the cows agree that sumpin's gotta give.) And the same buggy app for placing orders. Ongoing difficulties with the mobile app only sour the visits further. FWIW - the app is more dysfunctional than ever. I'll not use the app again until the cows teach CFA's script kiddies the difference between a properly functioning app and pretty graphics that only appear to be a functioning app (mad British cows might just call it all bollocks.) With a fil-A crush since my first whiff of the fryers in the corridors of Dallas's North Park Mall, I could happily live on three squares a day of fil-A. The decades old aroma is little changed today. But I miss the coleslaw. The kale has got to go! Until then, it's a nugget breakfast combo with hash rounds or a Chick-fil-A original combo and waffle fries any time after breakfast service ends. And a seasonal shake on occasion. NO CUSTOMER WIFI!!! And that's why I'm giving them 1 star. I get there order my food, find a great working spot and bam!! No WiFi. And the cellphone signal is bad in that area so I couldn't use my phone to tether in. I asked an employee and he gave me the deer in headlights look and I just packed up and left. read more

Chick-fil-a is about more than just good food. The food is awesome, no complaints. But Chick-Fil-A are also known for their superior employees and customer service, so when there's a bad egg, it really sticks out. I had a very unfortunate experience with the drive thru at this location. It's sad how one individual can keep you from enjoying your experience. The drive thru employee was arrogant, rude, and on top of it all, screwed up the drinks for our order. I was there opening day. I ordered a breakfast mini treat and a drink. It was 9:19 am. There was one person in the line infront of me. I was told to wait to the right of the counter and it would be brought to me. 2 others were served after me. Others who were there before me got refills. I was not served. I asked another person for the time. Learned it had been 10 minutes. I went to the counter and asked for my money back. The woman asked me for what. I said .. exactly. I didn't get anything. She got a manager. Manager got my money, kept my reciept, and didn't say anything to me. I said before I left, "do you know I didn't get anything?" He replied "It's our 1st day. Sorry." I wasn't there, but I think that other bad review was a little harsh for a grand opening very shortly after they opened their doors to customers for the first time. I had a wonderful experience! The staff was so very friendly (as always). The restaurant was clean. It was fully staffed. Employees were everywhere handing out balloons, showing where to get condiments, getting refills, and just anything to be helpful. The place was packed, but I ordered right away and got my food in about one minute. I'm so happy to have this location closer to my house!!! Congrats, CFA! Well done!! read more
