I wasn't sure what to expect when seeing the storefront because it's in a strip mall. We sat down in the booth-type seats to the left and found that they were sticky which kind of put me off a little, but I decided to still try it after reading all these reviews. All of the tables were clean and the actual restaurant was clean too. We ordered a single patty burger (for my 4 year old), 2 original Betty sandwiches with sweet potato fries, garlic Parmesan fries, and the bacon cheeseburger. The sweet potato fries were the best. I was wishing for some maple dipping sauce other than what we got. The bread on the chicken sandwich was a bit stale and the ratio of bread to chicken was off for me, however the chicken was delicious.. I was really wishing for a different bun. Same thing with all of our sandwiches... we felt like the bread overpowered the rest of it. I asked for no sauce and ended up getting the sauce... which was fine but I really just wanted to taste the chicken. I will definitely be back to try some other items on the menu! Give it a try if you're in the area!

We even got to chat with Eddie the Pitmaster for a couple of minutes, he is the real deal. I love BBQ and to me, there is no such thing as bad BBQ. That said, this was super good. I tried their Beef Brisket Platter and part of their The Pig Mac. With Manny the humanoid pig looking on, we dove in. The brisket was flavorful, no sauce needed. There was plenty of fat and plenty of slices. For my two sides I tried their coleslaw, which was fine, and their cucumber salad. I'm a big flavor guy and love cucumber slices soaked in vinegar. After we had ordered our food another customer stopped by our table and praised their The Pig Mac so much, we added it to our order. What a great recommendation. It is a sandwich with a cheesy patty of mac n' cheese, pulled pork on the side. We even got another side and tried their potato salad made with both white and sweet potatoes. I liked the thinking outside the box potato salad. The pulled pork, like the brisket, stood very well on its own without sauce. The pork topping the cheesy patty just worked so well. We will be back.

A disappointing experience. Walked in around 7pm and the restaurant was completely empty. That…read moreshould have been our first indication. Our table ordered a couple of dishes: chicken and waffles, southern fried chicken, shrimp fried rice, and the hitman. The water tasted like it came straight from the water fountain outside the restaurant. Chicken was overly breaded and salty, and the corn cake was sour. I also don't know how they managed to dry out dark meat. The waffle was semi burnt. The shrimp "fried rice" was soggy, vinegary, almost sushi rice like texture, and shrimp was heavily salted. The hitman smashed burger... the hitman probably killed people with the insane amount of salt on the plate. See the theme? Lighten up on the salt unless you're trying to give your customers clogged arteries. Extremely disappointing considering all the great reviews we saw before going.

I foresee myself craving this in the future and being sad I live in Orlando and can't even Door Dash. I really enjoyed the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict too - though some of my crab had a little fishy taste, but most of it was perfect. The Meyer-lemon hollandaise was creamy, light and just enough citrus flavor. Love it being served on soft foccacia bread with perfectly poached eggs. Service was fantastic! Our server "Erica" was amazing. She made great recommendations and even made a fresh pot of coffee for me, Including an iced version of it to go along with my husband's iced tea. She said portion sizes are even bigger at dinner! We will definitely be back.

The sandwich was good, but I should have ordered the after burner because the base wasn't spicy at all. Tenders and wings are cooked well. I wasn't a fan of the sauce. Unfortunately, I either tried it on a really off day or my taste buds just weren't in it. I tried the hot chicken tenders, but they were like chewing through pieces of steak that had been cooked too long. Very tough and dry. The sauce surprised me, but not in a bad way. It has a really sweet base coat and then hot top coat. At first I wasn't sure if I liked it or not, but I think I did. Haha. My husband had a sandwich and thought it was good; he didn't share a bite though. I really enjoyed their french fries, Which is slightly unusual for me to comment on. There was a powder dusting on something sprinkled on them, and it was really evenly dispersed and tasty. Maybe I'll try this place again and see if the main entree disappointment was a fluke. If so, I'll update then....
