The drive through here is a bit confusing and can bog down at times but I still stop here often. The CFA breakfast is superb. I love both an egg and cheese biscuit or four chicken minis on yeast bread. Delicious. The hash browns are awesome. For lunch I like both the spicy chicken sandwich and the southwestern salad. With the spicy chicken sandwich you have some options such as pepper jack cheese and a multigrain bun, both add a lot to the sandwich experience. I suppose most would go with the waffle fries but I've never been that excited by them, however CFA had a stroke of genius recently and added a Mac and cheese side - it's making the very best Mac and cheese offerings one can hope to buy. Delicious, creamy and chucks of caramelized topping (my way of saying a bit of deliciously overcooked topping). CFA has terrific cold brew, one of my favorite locations for it, has tasting highly sugared sweet tea, and terrific, pulpy lemonade. The ambiance? It's nice enough, comfortable chairs and tables of different heights for variety. I need to mention the friendly, warm Customer service, not to mention a consistent effort to deliver food quickly. CHICK-FIL-A on 280 This morning at Chick-fil-A was a horrible experience on 280. As much as I love Chick-fil-A I will NEVER EVER step foot in the 280 establishment. I can be hungry or thirsty this one will not get one dime. When I walked up to the counter the employee never spoke or said Welcome to Chick-fil-A EMPLOYEE: what do you want to order? ME: Gave him my order. He walks off, didn't wait for me to scan or pay for my food. So another employee finished my transaction. Another young lady gave me my bag with the food, I'm waiting for my Frosted Coffee. So the original rude employee brings the Frosted Coffee, I'm reaching for the coffee and straw, he places it on the counter along with the straw he didn't place it in my hand after seeing me reaching ‍ So I asked "are you okay and are you having a great day. He gives this blank stares at me. I asked for his manger because now I want my money back, she comes I told her what happened, she proceed to give me my money back, she says you may keep the order. I told her I didn't need any free food I came in there expecting great customer service and said I didn't get it. I politely asked "is it my color what is it with this guy" His response"I'M NOT RESPONDING TO THAT" So then this other manager comes out, I repeated to him what happened, he tells me, his exact words...."I have never had a problem or complaint about him." I ordered through the mobile app for curbside pickup and service was quick and delivered kindly as usual. I got my usual chicken nugget meal with a fruit cup and sweet tea. Everything was fresh and the sweet tea was extra sweet! I frequent this location and my order always comes out with a smile, great hospitality from employees, and has never been wrong. Though I didn't go inside this time around, I have recently and they are always on top of cleaning and Covid precautions. This morning I decided to go get Chic Fil a breakfast drive thru and they never disappoint! During this trip I did have to wait a little to get service but this was the first time this has ever happened to me at this Chic Fil a location so it was no big deal to me to wait a little. The workers are always polite and although COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted at this location this worker decided to still wear their mask which is always appreciated. I've wondered why there were two Chick-fil-A's two miles apart from each other on 280. This one near Target has always treated me with great hospitality. The food has always been good. Always a big fan of Chick-fil-A, and this location is no different. The employees are friendly, and the food is good. Rarely have any issues with mistakes on orders. About the only thing I can ding this location for is the traffic / parking situation. It is kind of an awkward area. I was really craving a chicken sandwich, so my boyfriend and I decided to go to this Chick-fil-a for dinner. We went through the driveway (probably around 8pm) and there was a very short wait. The worker that took our order was very patient and gave us time to look at the menu and finalize our order. When we got to the window, all workers in sight were wearing masks and seemed to be practicing proper health safety. We were given our order with minimal packaging, which was nice, as we can recycle the cardboard holder we were given with our drinks. Additionally, we got our food very fast and the worker at the window was very warm and polite. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo with an added slice of pepper jack. I always appreciate when a restaurant makes ordering special requests easy, and Chick-fil-a did not disappoint. The fries were hot and crispy, the sandwiches were tasty and you could tell they had just been cooked, and our coffees and drinks were good as well. Not too much ice, which I personally prefer. On the third of January, around 13:30 or so, I was in the drive-through line. Now, normally, I do not like going to Chick-fil-A, at all. Their food is pretty stellar, I'll admit. However I absolutely abhor their donation practices, their anti-LGBTQ corporate stances, and their overall ignorance of the most important lesson of Christianity - love thy neighbor. However, I'm also aware enough to learn to separate the piece from the whole. Most of these people are just trying to make a living. They have nothing to do with all that, not really. Which brings us to my visit. My wife, who has the same feelings I have, was hungry. We were about to take a long drive and she needed to eat. So, when your wife says she is hungry, you listen. It was pouring rain, and I mean sheets of it. And the line at this location was long, very long, per usual. There is only one real entrance to the drive-through, very intuitive - brilliant, really - and I took it. Right at the apex of the egress and ingress, at the front of the restaurant, a lady in a white car cuts in front of me, using the exit line instead of the entrance one. Easy mistake to make, especially considering the visibility, and the possibility that she hadn't been here before, no big deal. Suddenly, what I later found out was the Operator, Mark Meadows, comes out in the pouring rain, no umbrella, and asks me if this lady cut in front of me, to which I replied, "Yes, sir, she did." He then walks up and kindly directs this lady to the side, so that she may proceed to the back of the line. I pull up, roll my window down, and thank him for this huge, above-and-beyond, action, and he says to me, "You've been the nicest person I've dealt with today. May I shake your hand?" to which I happily obliged. It was so sad to hear that my baseline kindness was the best this poor man had seen all day, an absolute atrocity. He was out in the rain for me. I could make food at home, but I choose to let these people do it for me, and thus have zero right to complain, yet others had found a way. Asinine. But I had never seen this level of customer service before. It was the right thing to do, and he did it, unquestioningly. It was a stellar display of position, as well as one of just humility, and I could not let it go unnoticed. And so, I wanted to say to him, personally, thank you Mark. I will remember this forever. And I hope that you continue to find the kindness that I hope that I showed. There should be nothing special about the way I acted, but I'm glad that I could be the one, nonetheless. Kind of small parking lot, but parking goes all the way around the building. Exactly what you would expect when you go inside! Clean and spacious. Friendly employees behind the counter as well. Same menu that they have at all locations with a variety of Chicken Sandwiches as well as their version of a chicken nugget (so good). Today I went with the Grilled Chicken Club. Grilled chicken was flavored well and was still juicy and the added bacon was cooked to perfection. The meal deal comes with regular drink and waffle fries. Waffle fries taste great dipped in their signature BBQ. Price for meal deal runs between $7.00 and $9.00. My Chicken Club came in just under $9.00. A little on the high side for all of the other fast food chains, however food quality is always high and they were exceptionally fast. In and out in 15 minutes. I have been going to this Chick-fil-a since high school and they have the best service and of course lemonade. The lemonade is so good that my mom makes me bring her a couple of gallons when I come home from college. I love the convenience of the Chick-fil-a app and that you can earn points to redeem for free food. They usually always get my order right, but this time was different. I asked for 3 gallons of regular lemonade and was brought out 3 gallons of diet lemonade. I noticed the mistake and they immediately went back to fix it. When I took them home and my mom immediately noticed they we still received diet lemonade. It was upsetting because we live 7 hours away from a Chick-fil-a and had no way of getting the right lemonade for the holiday. I immediately called and left a message about the situation to see what could be done. I was given a call back and left a message to give them a call back and no rush since it was the holiday. When I called back I was offered the option of getting party trays and lemonade. When I came to pick up the order they were so kind about the mix up and apologized. They threw in a dessert tray with the order which was a wonderful surprise. I recommend this Chick-fil-a to everyone because the amazing service they do every time I go and how they make up for their mistakes. This chick fil a is usually pretty fast. The employees are always super nice and the food is always great. It does get super busy at lunch time, but the wait isn't too terrible in comparison to how many people are there. It's a convenient location right on 280. The only downside is one of the drive thru entrances is super hard to get a long vehicle into and when it's busy, you can't enter at the other spot. I have to do a 3 point turn sometimes to get my mini van in there - just kind of a poor design. However, the location is convenient for getting on and off 280 quickly for a bite to eat. read more
