Received a free gift for chick-fil-a for attending a wizards game, so I could not resist. I got a chicken sandwich wrapped in lettuce. The lettuce wrap was an extra 20 cents and with tax, I paid a total of $0.22. Service was about 5 minutes from placing the order on the app to picking up. I can't really say much about the interior but I feel like it could be a little bit brighter? It seems dimly lit. I also saw that this location doesn't do delivery so you'll have to pick up your order in store. Something to consider if you don't want to go into the actual store. Food itself was a solid 4/5. I wish that they gave more lettuce for the "bun" or even an option to double up on the lettuce bun. We just landed at DCA and were yearning for CFA, but the CFA in DCA was incredibly busy (long line), so it made more sense to drive here. Service was very quick and the food was fresh and tasty as it always is! Definitely enjoyed it and would return when in the area! I haven't had Chick-fil-A since the summer of 2019, so basically four years now. I like that they sell grilled chicken nuggets here if you want something on the lighter and healthier side. It's got a good amount of protein, which was what I needed. Unfortunately, the portion size was tiny. These were the smallest pieces of nuggets I've ever seen and 12 of them were 7.99, wow. It was seasoned well and juicy, but dang this pricing, lol. Next time, I'll get one of the chicken sandwiches and some waffle fries. I miss their waffle fries with sea salt (I stole a bit from my friend who ordered some, haha). I've only done pick up, but not a fan of this location. The pickup window is chaotic and you still end up waiting despite being notified that your order is ready. Also, when you complete a mobile order it states they prepare your order when you arrive, however everytime I come the food is never hot or even slightly warm. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Today, I waited for 10 minutes after I arrived at the restaurant making me late for work. In Arlington you'll find everything busy. This will include your local Chick-Fil-A. Actually smiling thinking of what in our area, was known as being an ok mall restaurant. Thats changed considerably. To think of how humble they were compared to now, it's a night and day difference size wise. Yet the customer service is exceptional. They thrive on making you feel valued. Their food is not great but good. I'm not enamored with whatever they did with the French fries. It seems our market has been picked for this "opportunity." I did their online pick up option on the app. The thing I don't like about the app, they want you to physically show up to the store, confirm on the app you're there, before they even bother to start making your order. What's the point of the concept of "picking up"? So, to bypass that, just say you're there, even if you're not. The woman in charge of the pick-up orders is amazing. Has an excellent memory and knows how to take care of everyone. Very attentive, which is what you need as customers pour into the store constantly. Who's to say Vegans can't enjoy CFA? The team of employees were friendly while navigating the line of customers amongst the crowd control barriers. This is a busy location. A good choice for food in Crystal City. I have found that the food at Chick-fil-A is consistently fresh and delicious. This restaurant is no exception to that. Chick Fil A is known for its signature chicken sandwiches, which are made with juicy, tender chicken breast and served on a buttery, toasted bun. There are 12 stores in the DC area. The Crystal City Chick-fil-A location is located in the heart of Arlington, Virginia, just a short distance from the Pentagon and Reagan National Airport. This location is on the west side of of the road and in a storefront facing Crystal Drive. It seemed a fairly busy location. Parking is limited with a few spots out front but not many. It seems to cater to a good amount of foot traffic business. The restaurant's interior was clean and modern. There are a few tables outside and about 5 tables inside and a counter facing the street. The staff was courteous and efficient, providing fast service efficiently on our visit. Just as with other locations, you order, pay, and pickup at the counter. I was in the DC area for the Marine Corps Marathon and stopped in here a couple of times to eat a quick meal. It was a short walk from the Crystal City Metro Station. The first time, I stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night where it wasn't very crowded. The second time, I stopped in for lunch on Monday where the place was packed to the gills. Each time it was very easy to skip the line and place my order on their mobile app. Their food was the standard delicious tasting food that we've come to love and expect from Chick-fil-A. read more

I have to give this Chick-fil-A 3 stars, tempted to give it two. I went here on a Thursday, non-rush lunch hour (around 3pm) and waited in line for at least fifteen minutes, with nobody ahead of me in the line, and one customer at the cash register ordering milkshakes with three employees trying to help get the order right. It was infuriating. I ended up leaving because I couldn't take it anymore and I'd rather go hungry then wait in line any longer. However, I came back Friday and had a much better experience ordering on the mobile app, which is a good app and has perks. I ordered 30 nuggets for my team at work with some fries. Food was great and service was obviously much better but I had 0 interaction, as it was all mobile. Would go back but would only use the mobile app. read more

Went to this Chick-fil-A for breakfast the other day. They were pretty busy but the line went fast. We decided to dine-in and they brought the food to our table quickly. The biscuit, the chicken and the hash-browns were all fresh and cooked just right. Lately I've been to some other Chick-fil-A's that have either had old tasting/looking biscuits or hash-browns. Not here! The cashier forgot to ask me if I wanted sauces but I asked the lady who brought me my food if she could bring me some and she did. The floor was kind of slippery? What more is there to say....about a Chick-fil-A!? You would have to be living underneath a rock!...No, forget that....the Grand Canyons if you don't know about it.... at least on the east coast. The food is always made fresh, prepared with quality-real ingredients and the customer service is always far above par. This location falls right in-line with all the above. As a former Chick-fil-A employee while in high school and college scholarship recipient, I can attest that everything about this company is true to its word and the food is solid! Also, being from Georgia, where Chick-fil-A all started, I consider myself spoiled by the brand and know it well. I can remember many days of stuffing my face with tons of sandwich's, nuggets, and fresh pies baked fresh by hand....by lady seniors who were retired and worked the early morning hours before the store would open. Due to being in school, I only worked part-time mainly on weekends and during some weekday evenings. But man!...I used to beg to work an early shift with those old ladies because they would always spoil you to death...with all the goodies they were making. It was like having extra paternal grandparents all in one....teaching you good values, how to cook...and most of all what good eating was!! It was a treat for sure and the food is still as I remembered it back then....."the BOMB!" There is just something about that juicy, tender...super seasoned, crispy breast fillet...on a hot toasted buttered bun....with two slices of pickles...that just sets my taste buds off!! This location continues with representing the brand's simple presentation and food in the same manner...just as I can recall it from working there. The customer service is outstanding too. The #1 Meal: Chick-fil-A Deluxe w/ Waffle Fries and the Fresh Squeezed Lemonade...is my go to and favorite! The food is always great...served hot, with no long wait times. And, most of all, the chicken sandwiches kick A@%! When it comes to finding great fast food....somewhat on the healthy tip....if you don't always include a lemonade, brownie & ice cream like I do...this is it! When I called, the manager had no remorse and was not compassionate when I told her this. It seemed as though she was rushing me off the phone. Not sure what the heck happened with the service here but the last time I came I can definitely say it has changed my perception of Chik Fil A being a super friendly customer service oriented establishment...? When I walked in, there was NO ONE and I mean no one in line. So basically I walked to the front of the register to place my order. Little do I know, one of the cashier ladies had a bit of attitude and told me "the line starts there" and there were now two people there so...confused I went to the back of the line even though I was there first? Not sure even if the line technically starts where the poles are set why she should say that. The other lady ended up taking my order but I was already kind of annoyed by this. Then later I noticed they didn't give my friend his order and left it on the table without notifying him it was ready so he ended up having to wait longer. Were they just having an off day? I never thought I would write a negative review of a Chick-fil-a as they tend to be a "port in the storm" of fast food options, but this location really falls far from the tree in terms of quality and customer service. Don't expect the customary "My pleasure..." that you come to expect at every other location, as you're lucky to hear it 10% of the time if at all...and forget anyone roaming the dining room offering refills, asking to take your trash or cleaning tables. Heck, I'd take a "You're welcome!" over the grunt I usually get. Odd since more often than not, there are staff sitting in the dining room eating and socializing themselves while there are waits and lines. The kitchen is a hot mess and you're lucky to get the order the way you want it if you customize it. Mobile ordering doesn't help either as you'll probably be missing any add-ons like sauce or sugar for your drink, so best to check the bag before you leave. The expediters wander around like deer in headlights and are highly inefficient as you will often see your order sitting in the window for extended periods or watch as they put your completed order down to go take care of something else as your food sits and gets cold. There are some exceptions to these observations, but they are few and far between. Mediocre at best, which means average for most fast food, but an absolute disappointment for a chain that is usually a pinnacle of quality and service. read more

The airport location was closed so my coworker and I drove out to this one which was close to the airport. We had a very big order and the staff was able to accommodate us. After I got back to the airport, we realized that there was one missing large lemonade. I call the location to let them know of the missing item. They offered a refund for the inconvenience. I asked if I could just come in and pick it up and they said it was okay. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I discovered I really like Chick-fil-A..... I don't agree with their CEO's thoughts on homosexuality but.... I like their chicken. With that said, it does hurt me a little when I eat there. I really am impressed with their chicken - it just taste different from other chicken places - I can't really describe it. It's super flavorful, juicy, buttery, and delicious. Comes with waffle fries so they're definitely a step up from regular fries. I think the prices are pretty reasonable. I also like their dining rooms, they make them up out to be just a bit nicer than a typical fast food place. They decorate it with glasses of lemons or balloons for the holidays and little vases of flowers on the tables, etc. I like the waitresses that come around and ask you if you want a refill or take away your trays. See, just a step up from a regular fast food place. Oh, and I love love loveeeeeeeeee their Honey Roasted BBQ sauce. I ask for handfuls of them every time I go. Too bad they don't sell them. While you wait in line, someone will help you order ahead with an Ipad so when you get to the front all you have to do is pay. I probably waited a total of 5 minutes between getting in line and then getting my food, and it was packed. The only reason for a lack of a star was they only give you 8 nuggets, which is what it should be but most other locations will throw in a few extra and the nuggets here were smaller then I've seen. read more

I came in here for lunch today because I was already in the area for some business to take care of. Chick-fil-A deluxe chicken sandwich combo meal which included their awesome fries and a drink. I got here right around 11:30 and the place was already super busy. Has there ever been a point in time in history when this place wasn't busy? The store was clean but it wasn't that welcoming simply because the restaurant was too full! There wasn't a table or chair anywhere in sight. By the time I was able to make it to the counter and place my order, there were actually four employees working at different registers. The is store was prepared for the influx of customers, so the line to place orders actually made good progress. I took my combo meal to go obviously, and found a spot across the street in the park.
