I had the chicken sandwich with fries. This thing was huge. There is no way anyone is going to be able to bite down into the entire sandwich at once. I had to break it up into 2 pieces. It has this special sauce and grated pickles. It was so good. The bun was soft and the chicken was crispy. This was the kind of sandwich that would knock Popeyes chicken sandwich out of this atmosphere !!! The place was clean. It was quite a few people enjoying their lunch when I arrived. I got the Kang Nam chicken, the half-sized tteokbokki, and the kimchi fried rice. The chicken was crispy and tender, and the white sauce with onion was incredibly delicious. The kimchi fried rice was also very flavorful as well. The spices balance very well together. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the regular tteokbokki. It wasn't bad per se, but it also wasn't good either. I think there are better places to get tteokbokki, but no worries, their focus and strength here is obviously in their fried chicken. He was hired, issued a uniform, and given a schedule yet he was never actually placed on the schedule or contacted again. Instead, he later received a termination notice for "no show," despite never being assigned a single shift. What makes this more concerning is that I witnessed another applicant, an African American male, get processed and hired in the course of 20 minutes. The contrast in treatment raises legitimate questions about bias or favoritism. I also observed the manager loudly complaining in an empty restaurant, creating an uncomfortable environment. Her conduct appears disorganized, dismissive, and unprofessional, affecting both applicants and customers. This location has potential, but the current management is failing it. Note: Whether this situation was caused by nepotism, an unqualified résumé, or personal issues on the manager's part, the behavior displayed was neither professional nor appropriate.
