Why the bad reviews? We made our own pizza through customizations on the website and it was great, maybe because I'm a chef, I can't rate their specialty pizzas but the make your own came quick! We got garlic herb sauce, chicken, pepperoni, extra cheese, black olives, and beef. Maybe you'll get better reviews if you put it on your menu. Call it the reaper. Love this place will be ordering again though that pizza ran me about $54, make my order a speciality pizza on your menu and you get 5 stars. read more

The service is awful. The food is good but takes a very long time even if there is hardly any customers. Heard a bartender telling someone sitting at the bar that she's ignoring a couple who just came in so that they will leave and that she's about to start drinking. My friends and I got 2 pepperoni pizzas to go and it was so good! Highly recommend getting pizza here. They made the pizzas quick too.

First off props for an awesome waitress!! She was not only attentive and friendly but she went above and beyond when our marinara sauce did not taste right, we asked for the different type because ours tasted a bit vinegar. She brought us the hot and spicy version, but she also went over to the piece bar and heated up a separate container for us to try to see if that was better, which it was more than likely the first batch had been maybe sitting a little longer than normal but I love that she actually went out of her way to make sure not only that we were satisfied, but that they were not going to serve a less than perfect product to anyone else Now the food was amazing. We tried these chicken wings buffalo garlic Parmesan. They were so good. The sauce was epic. The Chesapeake pizza was OK. It was missing something and some sort of sauce or maybe another meat to bring it together. It was still pretty tasty just not my favorite lol , no matter what I'll be back this location has plenty of space to hang out with friends sit in a booth or even sit at the bar and watch the game. The other location has great pizza, but I probably wouldn't come back to this location again as the food is just not as good. Chicho's on shore drive is becoming our families favorite pizza place. We order take out from Chicho's and the pizza never disappoints! The location on shore drive is tucked into a small shopping plaza and makes for a nice dive bar feel. I normally wait at the bar for the food to finish up. They offer a nice size bar with a good assortment of draft beers and drink specials! This location also has a small outside seating area! The kids split an XL pepperoni and cheese and I order their chicken pizza. The service is quick and friendly! Definitely recommend trying this location if you're visiting Virginia Beach! read more

It pains me to make this review but I feel it needs to be done. I love love love Chicho's spicy pizza and their Buffalo Garlic Parmesan wings and had been craving it for quite a while now, so this past Saturday we ordered pizza and wings for pickup at their Shore Drive location. Ordering through their website was easy and pick up was not an issue as our order was on time as stated. The Buffalo Garlic Parmesan wings were yummy as always and are my absolute favorite. The downside was the pizza, it just wasn't the Chicho's pizza I love. The crust was just dry and weird, felt like eating cardboard, there was just nothing to it and it made eating the pizza not enjoyable at all and I could barely tell it was spicy sauce. This left me sad as it is not the pizza I remember. Maybe the kitchen was having an off day. It makes me wonder about the original Chicho's location and if its the same there as well. I will definitely go back for those wings but the pizza ehhh may not order that again for quite a while. read more

We love Chicho's pizza. Let me start off by saying that. They're well liked among locals. However, their service was horrible tonight. The app tracker said our order was ready for pick up. Went inside only to be told it'll be another 10 minutes. Refreshed the tracker 8 minutes later to see it saying our order was picked up. What? Went back in to wait another 10-12 minutes. Got the $30 order only to find out it was for two personal size pizzas!!!! Seriously over priced. Wouldn't mind the manager(s) to reach out to me on this one. read more

The food keeps me coming back every time. The service is always great. Kayla I think is what the managers name is does a good job of checking on everyone and jade the bartender is a breathe of fresh air. I wanna give this place a 10/10 but I have to give it a 9/10 only because the music commercial breaks are atrocious. I know they can afford to pay for no ads but somehow don't...if they were to fix that then the place would be more hype! Been here a few times. Sunday evening for dinner (9/12/2021) was the first time in a year or so. The reason I can't give a 5 star was because they were out of Salad. All Salads . . . Given the supply chain issues I can understand. The upside, Savannah, our server, was great. Attitude, respect, and responses. As far as we could see she was the only server for the entire establishment outside the bar area. She was great. The food: We had a giant Pretzel with cheese dip which was quite good. HUGE pretzel . . . Followed up with a large cheese pizza. We asked for thin & crisp but it wasn't as thin as expected. Spicy pizza sauce is great there! Overall, we will be back! read more

I have always enjoyed going to chichos for the good atmosphere, the above par pizza and friendly staff. That recently changed after visiting the Shore Dr location. If you scroll through the reviews you will see a number of people acknowledge the female manager/bartender who has a less than pleasant attitude. I don't mind ignoring those kinds of people, however this individual took my phone without me knowing and texted herself a video that I took earlier of the Chichos bar. Not too sure what her motive was, but I do know she was way out of line. My only advice to you if visiting this bar would be sit in a booth or don't leave your belongings sitting on the bar. Side note: the video was in no way malicious, I have sent it to the owner and was told the manager would receive discipline. I do know she is still working there however read more

First time customer here and definitely not the last. I was in town for a Christmas 5 mile race and was staying at the La Quinta next door. I was too tired to go anywhere fancy so I was gonna do Taco Bell which was next door. When I walked by here I decided to check them out instead. Wow!!!! Awesome nachos. They actually came in a pizza box and everything was in its own containers so nothing gets soggy(great idea!!) and then you put it together when you get home(back to the hotel). It was great!! The chili, the cheese sauce everything was fresh and plentiful, and this was a 1/2 order. For a small place they do a heck of a business. I wanted a good pizza while I watched some college football. What I got was a terrible pizza and the music turned up so loud I hurried to leave. Bad rap music with terrible language. Not a place for families or adults with money. This was funny because a band was setting up who were all older men, Freebird was definitely in their playlist. We love our local Chichos! It's fairly tucked away in a shopping mall, and hard to see from the street. Get the cheesy bread or garlic knots with spicy sauce as an app, and of course some delicious pizza! Wings are also great here too. My husband and I have been consistent clients at Chicho's. That changed on Saturday, Jan 16th. We rolled into an empty restaurant to watch the Green Bay game. Had a drink, watched a group of 5-6 roll in. They received complete attention from the bartender. Even being served rounds of shots they didn't order. My husband and I patiently waited with empty glasses as the bartender passed our table multiple times, without a glance. As I mentioned, we frequent this place weekly and my husband has been tipping these folks very generously since covid. After 40 minutes he finally went to the bar and asked for the bill. Not sure why we were treated so poorly, but they won't be seeing us again. On the way out I asked this bartender why it was so hard to get a drink and she laughed it off. read more

I've been here twice, the first time the service was sub par at best. We were hoping it was just an off day for the server, but the pizza was great so we decided to give it a second shot! I came in here at 6:25pm on a Saturday night. We were told immediately to sit wherever we like. All of the booths were taken and there were a good amount of people at the bar so my party of 4 decided to sit outside on the patio. We hadn't seen anyone come outside to help us, so by 6:30 one of us went in to make sure the patio was available. The server responded that she'll be in out to help us in 3 minutes. By 6:35pm, we still hadn't been helped and we were frustrated and hungry so we left. I am giving this "restaurant" 3 stars, but i am giving there pizza 2 1/2 stars. i mean good thing there catchphrase is "more than pizza" because their pizza was subpar at best. this weekend my sister went to pick up their pizza of the month (don't get me started on the delivery lol). this month, the pizza is chick-fil-a pizza. in theory this would be a great and delicious pizza, sadly my expectations were not met. now i will list the errors made on this particular pizza: no.1, there was far far too much cheese. no room extra parmesan when your looking at a stack of cheese that high. no.2, too many pickles. now don't get me wrong, i LOVE pickles especially chick-fil-a pickles, but all i taste was pickle after pickle. this was extremely noticeable due to the pickle to chicken ratio. speaking of...no.3, the chicken shortage. there was a total of 3 pieces of chicken on my slice(view photo for verification). relative to the chicken there was also a lack of chick-fil-a sauce. which brings me to my next point...no.4, not enough sauce. there was a drizzle of chick-fil-a sauce on this pizza. now speaking for all the chick-fil-a lovers out there, I KNOW we all dunk our nugs and sammy's in that sauce. so the lack of this sauce was disappointing and unrealistic. finally, no.5, we asked for thin crust and i can tell you for certain that crust was not thin. overall this pizza was disrespectful to chick-fil-a and pizza. i will not be eating again. read more

In from out of town and wife and I were pointed to this pizza joint by a local on the street. Great pizza! Just top notch. Wife loves pizza more than anything and commented she thought it was the best she ever had. That's saying something for my wife. Had the "all out" pie. And they put the tomatoes under the cheese. This is not something you often see in Portland OR and we were curious if this was a regional thing or a Chicho's thing. Asked the server who was super nice and attentive who wasnt sure and we thought little more of it. But 5 min later she brought over the owner who spoke to us for a bit about his pizza methods. You knew it was National Pizza Day. Prepare for the big day. This is the second time I have gotten the excuse they are short handed. Beware when you get your bill. You take a photo of a code to get their menu which is normal these days. BUT....when we got our bill, the prices were higher that what the menu shows. We were charged extra for sauce on the side of our boneless chicken that the menu clearly say it comes with. Fries were undercooked. Pizza was the smallest large I have ever seen and not very good. Side salads were fine. Fiesta Chicken Salad had many pieces of lettuce that were starting to turn brown---unacceptable. But, like I stated, the prices all were higher that what their scanned menu said. read more
