Issues rose in my old complex building and sometimes they'd be handed quickly but most of the time it would be swept under the rug. Swept so far that it would require multiple attempts from other owners for it to be brought back into light. Although it would often be forgotten again. We looked for directions or advice on what should be done, especially if new board members were elected and they don't understand their role, unfortunately there would be none. "We work under your direction". Although if no proper direction is given from the "professionals who are in charge of multiple properties" we are meant to fail. Fail and become an easy steady stream of income to an organization that could take advantage of us. We would express our loss of trust from examples and lose our temper in the process, as the humans we are. In kind they would decide to drop us saying due to our outburst there was nothing but malice (on our side) in this relationship. Despite them "trying" to improve. They would make time to attend our quarterly meetings (which we had to start). They would try to get back to us via email (within a few days vs a week without reminders). Maybe you'll be luckier than my home. Maybe you'll be one of the ones that have a good experience with them or their employees treat you appropriately. Unfortunately this comes from one of the ones that wasn't.

Avoid at all costs...I co-signed on a west Chicago apartment for my daughter last April. They were…read morecalled GMD Systems at the time but also go by IMD2 Systems. Amanda Dancea is the contact, though the lease says the property belongs to Marius Dancea. It all looked good on paper, and Amanda was responsive at the beginning. There was no internet available in the apartment as agreed in the lease, so Amanda provided an extender, which only brought wifi to a single device. Amanda kindly offered a jetpack as a solution, which gave my daughter wifi through the apartment. Two months into the jetpack working fine, Amanda suddenly demanded it back, said my daughter's wifi wasn't an issue and that the problem was actually all of my daughter's devices not working, and refused to give us the access needed to get an AT & T tech into the apartment even when I offered to pay for it. When my daughter wouldn't give the jetpack back without an updated lease guaranteeing that her rent would be reduced the $25 she was paying for Internet, Amanda said she was kicking her out because her boyfriend lives with her (he doesn't). She also initially refused to state her position with the company and continued to refuse to give my daughter or me contact info for Marius Dancea, the property owner as stated on the lease, so we had to track him down and email him directly to ask for help. He never responded to this emails or the multiple emails he was cc'd on in regards to this matter. After much stress and anxiety about being kicked out without cause, my daughter was able to get Lawyer's Committee for Better Housing to help. They wrote Amanda and Marius a letter saying she couldn't be kicked out without due cause, as they were attempting to do. They were able to get Marius on the phone; he said this was the first he'd heard of any of this, despite being emailed directly by my daughter and by me, being cc'd on all emails between my daughter and Amanda, and eventually blocking my daughter's email address from his account. ***If you are a tenant of theirs and having similar problems, I encourage you to contact LCBH.
