From the minute I walk in until my departure I am greeted with smiles and happy employees. I often fall asleep on the chair because of the gentleness of care. I do and will continue to refer family and friends to Dr. Faist at Chicago Smiles. I heard Dr. Santucci is also great. The office is close to my work in the loop. More importantly, Dr. Faist has the best chair side manner I have ever experienced. I had a dentist while growing up that was a close family friend. I feel like I've finally found a dentist practice with which I get similar level of care. The staff is professional, curious, thoughtful, and responsive. Dr. Santucci and his staff are amazing! Both my husband and I have gone to this office for 4+ years. I've had a lot of work done and have spent many hours in their office. They are organized, friendly, and knowledgeable. I trust Dr. Santucci more than I have ever trusted any other dentist. I have gone through two pregnancies while being a patient of his. During these pregnancies, I've had to have work done (including a crown, fillings and a root canal) and cleanings. His staff always made sure I was comfortable and felt up to the appointments before they got started. Dr. Santucci gave me a wonderful referral to an oral surgeon who made me totally comfortable getting a root canal while pregnant. I became a patient of Chicago Smiles in 2011 and I will be a patient for life, as far as I'm concerned! The care I receive is unparalleled. The organization is top notch, the office is incredibly clean, staff is caring and the work is excellent. I love never having to wait once I arrive- such a plus, especially when I visit on my lunch or before work. Dr. Santucci and his assistant Nicole always put me at ease. I was an anxious patient at first, but after my first visit, the fear was gone! Rachel does my cleanings and she is great, as well. I truly cannot say enough great things about this office. I switched to Chicago Smiles after I was newly employed becasue they were covered by my insurance. I went to a family dentist my whole life and didn't have many cavities. Upon my first visit to Chicago Smiles, they claimed to have found 4 caivites! I didn't believe this so i went to another dentist ( a new one). Sure enough, she only found 1 cavity! I feel like this Dentist is more concerned about making some $$$ and less concerned about patients. I had to pay $65 just for the visit (you get charged for cancellations) and didn't even get a cleaning or anything! Horrible read more

I should have wrote this review a long time ago, but....you know that goes! Dr. Santucci and the staff at Chicago Smiles are amazing! Not only is he a great dentist, but he genuinely cares about you as a patient (along with everyone else in the office). Right after I moved to Chicago (almost a year ago now), I had some pain in my mouth. Only to find out that I most likely needed another root canal - yuck! Dr. Santucci referred to me another great dentist (see my review on Dr. Yeung). Unfortunately the procedure did not work and I have since been in the process of getting an implant - oh yes, lucky me. Dr. Santucci referred to me to another amazing Dentist (review to come, lol) - Dr. Gadia. I have basically been a common visitor to Chicago Smiles due to some normal issues with the implant, but they have accomodated me at all times. Dr. Santucci has been super attentive to everything that has been going on and most importantly has been cognitive of the costs involved as I have HORRIBLE dental insurance (read baiscally none). Amy (at the front desk) always calms me down on the phone when I panic and explains everything to me when I'm there. The hygenients are also great! I ALMOST don't mind going to the dentist now :) I really appreciate the ability of the office to get me in last minute (when needed) and making the visit to the denist as enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend the office to anyone looking for a dentist in the city! read more

Dr. Santucci and his staff are incredible! I recently finished my invisalign treatment and had the ZOOM laser whitening done. I couldn't be more happier with my smile. Dr. Santucci paid very close attention to my concerns and delivered astonishing results. He showed me a virtual presentation of my teeth shifting at every stage of the treatment so I could see the end result. I can't recall ever being this ecstatic to be in a dentist's office. I highly recommend Chicago Smiles to anyone thinking about getting invisalign or any dental work done. Chicago Smiles and Dr. Santucci make going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. The entire staff is wonderful and they even send you home with a goody bag of things to take care of your teeth until your next visit! I have been going to Dr. Santucci for a while and taking care of my teeth is right up there with getting a facial or getting my hair done, and working out! Dr. Santucci has been really great the past few times I visited. Was not pushy at all, which I feel some dentists can be. He also helped me get a new retainer, and fit my old one, after I had lots of problems with another office that refused to help without sending me a large bill. It's been a relief to find a Dr that cares about his patients, and he has helped to renew my trust in drs again. I would definitely recommend him! Another plus is that I'm barely ever lingering in the waiting room, I am always taken in right away. Staff has been friendly as well so far. I was dreading going to the dentist after not being seen for 2 years. My previous dentist retired, and I had to look for a new one. I looked on yelp and decided to try Dr. Santucci as his office was VERY close to my office, and only had a couple questionable reviews. First Impression: The receptionist who I spoke with to schedule my appointment got me in quickly, and was extremely friendly and thorough. Was very helpful with my insurance questions. Everything was going fine up until I was seated in the exam chair, and started overhearing a couple employees gossiping about each other, and the dentist being rude to his own staff. In my opinion it was very unprofessional, and that's not something I would want my clients to overhear. Since I'm always nervous to go to the dentist I would much rather be in a friendly and outgoing environment, but if you don't mind that sort of behavior/atmosphere everything else seemed great. Gave 3 stars because billing (which is normally a headache) was a breeze, and I liked my hygienist. read more

I. Do. Not. Like. Dentists... Nope, not at all. I go, I get my cleaning and I skip right out of there. Not here though, this dentist office was great and very professional. I had my reservations on going, I use to go to a dentist in the burbs who would constantly make you feel like crap if anything was wrong. It wasn't the best experience and needless to say caused the dentist to become even more aversive. I was easily able to make an appointment upon calling. The initial appointment was to be set for the first week or March, however I was assured that people re-schedule all the time and I would get a call to come in much sooner. And so it occurred, I got a call the same week for an AM appointment. The receptionist was very helpful and calm, which is exactly what I needed. Oh and yes, there is a fishtank (Do all dentist's have these?). Anyhow the hygienist was great (Rachel) and very patient with me. She asked on some history and was aware of my fear of the chair. She helped calm me down and then I was give the remote to watch whatever I wanted. (awesome feature and really helped get my mind off of what was coming next) At certain points in the exam she asked how I was doing and was aware of extra sensitive spots, she was great and very sweet. Once that was done, the dentist came in and walked me through all the X-rays they took and offered some helpful tips on care. Overall, I was very happy with this dentist and will gladly (ok, maybe not be that happy) return here again. Highly recommended! read more

If you are in market for any dental work, no matter how extensive or not, I cannot recommend Dr. Santucci enough. What sets him apart from other Chicago dentists is the fact that the man is as big a perfectionist as you are (or in my case at least). I would not trust anyone else. He is straight forward, honest, and has unparalleled attention to detail I needed 4 front veneers - 2 regular veneers and 2 crowns. I was very nervous about undergoing the whole process due to bad experiences at a dime a dozen Chicago dental shop. I knew exactly how I wanted my new teeth to look and I knew I needed to find a dentist who would be able to give me that level of personalized service. Dr. Santucci worked with me every step of the way and was not happy until I was. He calmed all my anxieties and listened to me nitpick every last detail. In the end I could not be more happy. His cosmetic work is outstanding. The entire office team is great. My only regret with Dr Santucci is that I did not find him sooner. After 7 years of living in Chicago, I have finally found my dentist. read more

Clean office, TVs in front of your seat, never waited more than 5 minutes past my appointment time. What more can you really ask for in a dentist? I thankfully haven't needed to have any cavities filled here or services outside of a routine cleaning so cannot speak to anything beyond that. I have found that the cleanings sometimes hurt, but I don't know if that's a testament to the dental assistant or just me. read more

Since my first visit to the office with a terrible toothache a couple of years ago, I have had nothing less than stellar service. He has an awesome manner when dealing with patients, and doesn't make it a grueling dental visit. I really like Dr Santucci and the staff at Chicago Smiles. Unlike other Chicago area dentists I've been to, Dr Santucci does not over diagnose cavities and make up additional procedures just to rack up your bill (ala Presidential Dental). Today he replaced an old filling and it's was the best dental work experience I've ever had! It seems like I always feel the drill even though I've always had novicane, but today I had no discomfort! read more

I put off going to the dentist for too long. I bit the bullet and made an appontment. After my visit, I'm very happy to say that I've now found my dentist. The office is great. Everybody was helpful and friendly. My dental hygienist Kelly was fantastic. She did a wonderful job. And Dr. Santucci knows his stuff. You feel like you're in good hands. I'll definitely be keeping my 6 month appointments. (Did I mention Kelly was awesome!) If you're looking for a dentist, give them a try. You'll be glad you did.
