Given the number of breakfast places in the south suburbs, it is sometimes hard to stick out …read more.. but Royalberry Waffle was a very nice stop. Situated in a strip mall and operating a very large dining room, the restaurant was very nice. Now you don't come here for the ambiance ... because it is just one large room ... but the food and staff make the trip worth the visit. Quick service from friendly waitstaff, a nice selection of items on the menu, and all-in-all your typical breakfast place. Make sure you are ready when you order, because the food comes out quickly. Interestingly, we never tried the waffles ... we'll have to make a point of trying them on our next visit. Recommended.

Our waitress Melissa was super friendly and nice. Very spacious inside and give like an older restaurant feel which I really missed. I got the vegetable omelet with cheddar cheese, pancakes and fruit and it was soooo good! I took some home for the next day. My friend got the banana, chocolate chip crepe and she also took half home for the next day. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star was the prices online via the dine in menu differs quite a bit. But since we were already there, we decided to try and we are glad that we did. I personally will be back but have to keep in mind the menu prices online is incorrect.

Came here this morning for a nice breakfast while waiting for my prescription to be filled next…read moredoor at CVS. I was seated right away without issue. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I was immediately given water, a menu and was told my server would be right over which was great . Yasmin came right over and happily took my order with a few customizations (egg whites with spinach, turkey bacon and Turkey sausage for the Orange 2 x 4 breakfast with French toast). She made it easy . Everything came out fairly quickly and looked delicious. Overall, the taste was flavorful for my whole meal as Yasmin suggested the French toast over the pancakes, so I will give her a nod for a good suggestion ! Will definitely be back. Thanks for a pleasant experience and delicious food on an unexpected drop in !

I ordered the Poblano Benedict, two poached eggs with chorizo, a little cilantro on top, all sitting on a roasted poblano pepper held together by an English muffin. From the very first bite the chipotle hollandaise sauce took the spot... wow. Creamy and smoky, just the right amount of heat. When the yolk mixed with the sauce, it took the whole thing to another level. Easily one of the best breakfast dishes I've had in a while.

There's additional parking on the street and some nearby parking lots if needed. I ordered the pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, (club 1), and then the French toast, which had strawberries and bananas (yep I was hungry ha!) Everything was delicious. The waiter was friendly, and the service was quick. The adjacent table to us had a World War 2 vet and his son. I walked over to his table, paid for his breakfast, and thanked him for his service. Evidently he's a regular. All in all, the food was great, the service was great, and everyone was friendly.

Really fabulous food. Ambiance is a bit cold, like actually and literally, with AC blasting and a…read moresilver interior, but the waitstaff is friendly and food came out quickly. Their gluten-free toast is excellent. I will definitely go back. I had trouble once again, however, with basic communication and it certainly wasn't on my end. I wanted the breakfast taco special but asked for a side of gluten-free toast instead of the corn tortillas as it was described (I don't like corn tortillas). I was told they "aren't allowed to make modifications," which actually makes no sense. First of all, you're basically telling the customer they can't have the simple and sensible modification they're asking for and that's not OK. So, knowing how people in this part of the country are with understanding things, I said fine and asked to just make it without the tortillas... because apparently asking for a side of toast was too much information to put together. Well, that was confusing too. Not surprised. So, finally I just ordered the darn dish exactly as it was described and said, "OK, I will just scrape the eggs off the tortillas." Meaning HELLO, you're making the customer work to do something easy you seem to not be able to do. Eventually, another person came over (the manager?) and suggested they turn the breakfast taco special into a sandwich with gluten-free toast. I was dumbfounded. I've been in Illinois for 11 years (married) and people out here are just very slow to put information together. I don't get it and it's actually pretty alarming. So, anyway, the manager (?) finally suggested that they "could just make it without tortillas and bring me a side of toast." I was like YEP. That is exactly how I ordered it the first time. Welcome to the Midwest. But anyway, they walked away like I was the problem. Again, I've been dealing with this out here for years. Most people have no idea what's going on and they make everything more complicated.

With that out of the way the food wasn't bad, I had the Oreo pancakes and the down home skillet. The service and the waitress were an A+, she was outstanding.
