***BAD DONT RENT TILL YOU READ THIS**********I have a story to tell you. Monday 9/25 i go into Chicago Rideshare at 1030am wanting to rent a car from them everything seem smooth till around 12 noon saying they are waiting for insurance the jamican lady at the front desk kept comming out office saying this never happens so we will give you a free day.Then here it is 2pm still nothing and im like you know how much longer because i have to pick up my 6 year old daughter and if i cant get a car i have to walk and get her,Thinking they would offer me a rent a car just to go pick her up and come back they didn't,Then i asked the lady what time you close she said 430pm im like ill get my daughter from school at 330 ill call see if it in,I called and the white lady with glasses answer saying we will call you when ready and hangs up rudely.Then at 430pm closing time Jamaican lady calls me saying just received insurance can you come back Tuesday 9/26 at 9am im like sure.I called her around 9am saying i wont make it in till around 11am she said okay see you then.I showed up 1101am she like wow on-time mind you i walk to their location.I paid for rental then got insurance so im like cool i should be all set she gives me the keys .I walk to 2013 white toyota camry that looks like been threw hell and back i have photos to upload i get into car before i pull off lot im like let me check everything soon as i looked the in-dash screen very discolor looks like someone hit it,Then turn on for the A/C nothing i dont feel anything so i had to go back in and a mechanic so he swapped the blower motor.Then im like okay i should be set then i test drive it on cicero going about 45 50 the steering wheel shaking like crazy and no A/C blowing hott so here i am going back then the boss of the company said let me look at it so he took it for a test drive he like ur correct should of never been rented to you so he said give me like a hour im going to replace whats wrong with it.Manager put it on the lift something they had to replace front suspension and all 4 tires where bold im like thats not safe to rent out but okay ill wait.Then about 1 hour passes he said ur set to go im like okay and he also replace dash screen aka radio.I drive it down the road it need and alignment for me to drive it stright i had wheel turn half way im like what ever i needed a car then i had to put gas in it mine you 10miles to empty took it to gas station to find out someone cut the cord to open gas tank like its totally broken.Then here i go back again....Then as i sit in waiting area the white lady with glasses was talking so much crap out load about her boss im like wow they yelling swearing everything so 20mins go by im just fed up im like can you do something like discount free days ect..Then white lady cuts in ill give you one free day im complain like really i walk here 2 times ect she had the nerve to say you live close im like wow you pushed my button on that give me a refund needless to say the owner and jamican lady was very helpful but soon as lady was kind of talking shit back to me i lost it i was there total time 7 hours just to rent a car thats bad customer service on top of that their cars are shit no upkeep or holding past drivers responsible which is not good for business.BADBADBAD read more

The worst place to rent for ride sharing the car is nasty and terrible for renting cars from bad inspection

They were very up front about everything and I couldn't be happier. I had to rent a car due to me and my girl (daughter) getting into an unfortunate accident which required my daughter to have multiple facial surgeries and I could NOT afford to rebuild my saving without a vehicle to get around. Elvin, Kelly and Paulina were so helpful and polite. Tbh; It's like this: Take the car in when it need to go and pay your bill when you are supposed to then you won't have any problems out of them. Schysters the owner the manager!! Both!! So they had a special for supposedly everyone that was renting, i found out they had a special due to covid-19 of 150 a week!! I found out the 19th of march 2020 so even though everything was closed down and all ride share and GIG jobs tool a big hit!!! The manager named paulina/ was scamming me for 275$ a week even though i was a faithful loyal customer for 95days, i had explained to her that i couldn't keep car anymore and she said hey dont worry well work with you!! All she did was let me make payments on a existing week and not once did she offer me the 150 a week special they where running since the 19th of march!! So i gave her vehicle back full of trash!!!!! Like their service's!! N their bumper fell off on the express way so it was in the back seat for them!!! From thw beginning they game a a nasty black prius/ no gas and dirty AF inside smelled like gym sweat!! 4 bald tires. I brought it for maintenance and they replaced 3 out of 4, the 4th tire had a hole in it!!! i dont recommend them for anything other than to laugh at!!! Please think twise on even considering them for a vehicle!!! They aren't dependable at all and they will switch off your car on the eway while driving!! Brought my Nissan Altima into the shop for repairs after a Rideshare-relate accident and left with a loaner the same day so I could continue earning money with Rideshare. Due to my insurance company slacking my car was in the shop for 27 days. During those 27 days I grossed over $8,000 with the Prius loaner. I also set a world record in the loaner by completing 112 trips in a 24 hour period during Unofficial on the University of Illinois campus in Champaign. My Rideshare rating also increased to 4.98 after I turned in the Prius. When I had repair issues the year prior with a different car, there weren't any businesses that could accommodate someone with a loaner like this so I would have been sitting around waiting losing out on a world record and $8,000 had it not been for Elvin and Chicago Rideshare. Gave me a nasty car with no gas in it. Had to take it back to the shop every week for problems. Bad brakes, mechanic tried to blame it on my driving. They could have killed me and my passengers. The windshield wiper fluid mechanism didn't work. They're passing inspections without checking the cars. Last straw was when I had to take the car in 3x in 1 week. Made them give me another car. Which was a step up, brakes worked properly, then the very next day the check engine light came on. Ugh. Now I have to wait til Monday to get it fixed. read more

Very SHIESTY company!!!! Signed a contract for a discount then the conditions switched up before the contract ended. what was the point of a contract!!!! Took the vehicle in after having it for 5 months for the AC recharge since it was starting to warm up outside and the Drunk Mexican/ Serviceman/ cheap laborer broke something/ messed something up and the minute I got home it started to make a loud dragging noise then followed by smoke coming from underneath the hood. Which meant something was done/ damaged to the radiator and it had been working fine prior!!!!!! Once I called the mgr to have someone pick the vehicle up they instantly got upset because I stated o no longer want the vehicle or another vehicle in its place!!! And when I asked about my deposit i was told I was negligent (HOW) NO your drunk cheap labor was/is !!!! And that was all because they didn't want to return my deposit because I didn't want the car back after repairs!!!! However companies like this will see the day where all the deceitful acts/ practices will come back to haunt them!!!!!! read more
