Always some kind of message on my order, love it!

Stop. Just stop what you're doing. This is what you're getting for dinner, so stop looking. Mike... You, sir, have changed my life with this sandwich. I've been a big fan of Chicago Deli Express for months: fresh made sandwiches, chicken parm and pasta and they always go the extra mile making sure your order is right. They've been in my weekly rotation for a while and I always look forward to dinner from Chicago Deli Express. Tonight, I decided to deviate from my usual Medium Lakeshore Place, BLT sandwich, which is classic and amazing from here. Note: no matter what you get, get the bread toasted with garlic butter. It's epic! I decided to try the Medium Chicago White Sox, a sliced roast pork sandwich with mozzarella, bacon fried peppers and onions, chipotle mayo (I requested easy on the mayo, which was perfect), maple/bacon seasoning, with sliced apple chutney on the side (delivery and they packed it on the side so the sandwich wouldn't get soggy, score!). Read that again: Sliced roast pork on toasted garlic bread with mozzarella, bacon fried peppers and onions, chipotle mayo, maple/bacon seasoning, with sliced apple chutney. This is a sandwich that has changed the sandwich game. Never did I expect such a beautifully composed sandwich to arrive on my doorstep. The food at Chicago is fabulous but this was a cut above. The apple chutney plays off the salty bacon and savory peppers. The pork was moist and plentiful, the sandwich runneth over! That chutney is not to be missed, it is a Must. The apple balances the whole sandwich with beautiful, carefully measured sweetness. I can't love on this sandwich enough, eating it was an experience I can't wait to repeat. I don't know that I've been this excited about a sandwich in years. Do yourself a favor and add Chicago Deli Express to your rotation. You won't be disappointed! *this review is based on a SkipTheDishes order*

The best sub in town!!! Love the Chicagoland Jumbo!

This is one of my favorite places to go when I get to town! By far the best quality sub in town. Mike (the owner) really cares about the food and customers. Five Stars! I love the Chicagoland and Chicago Bull subs.

    Is that fresh dill?

They've got all kinds of choices, something for every craving, including soups of the day, salads, and more. This time around, I had their Chicken Club sandwich and it was delicious and filling. It was served with potato chips and a pickle on the side. Great meal! Check them out at 90 Old Kingston Rd in Ajax!

Ryan is the founder of the business, which he runs with family and friends. We got to meet Riott, his son, who had a love for skulls and all Halloween decorations at this eatery. This place specializes in sandwiches. Many of their meats are slow-cooked for ten hours. Sauces, soups, and slaw are homemade. We ordered many items off the menu and had what we liked: - Jalapeno and house slaws - Chickpea and ham soup - Roasted garlic and tomato soup - The Brooklyn (Italian) - Hot corned beef - Montreal smoked meat - Slicey's chopped chicken - Chicken club wrap I started with the hot corned beef sandwich. The corned beef was generous and so flavourful. The rye bread held all that tender corned beef together, along with the best grainy mustard aioli. I am a soup girl. I enjoyed the roasted garlic and tomato soup. It had the perfect amount of garlic with tomatoes, along with onions and spices. It was a comforting, smooth soup. The chickpea and ham soup was excellent. It had nice cubes of ham with chickpeas. It was so hearty and delicious. I also love slaw. The jalapeno and house slaws were crunchy. The former was creamy with a touch of heat. The latter was vinegar-based. You get the best of both slaw dressing worlds! I then had the Montreal smoked meat. It was full of the most tender smoked meat on rye bread with mustard. So good! I'm not sure how I managed to down Slicey's chopped chicken sandwich. It was so good that I did! It had slow-cooked chicken that was chopped with tomato, and red onion. It included the jalapeno slaw, along with white cheddar. It was messy to eat, but so worth it. The flavours were outstanding. This business supports other local businesses. The bread comes from a local bakery. It also features Purple Tongue hot sauces. Staff are super friendly and kind. They can craft a sandwich to your liking if you go with The Riott. There were two separate washroom stalls. I used one of them before I left this eatery. It was clean. No complaints. It's a comfortable place to hang out with friends over good food and drinks. I ended up having a Diet Coke and Crush cream soda during the two hours that we were here. They were cold and refreshing. It's street parking for three hours. It's free, which is nice. Alternatively, there is a parking lot across from this eatery. I look forward to returning for more good eats and soup. It's a gem of a sandwich place that happens to have awesome soups and slaw. (391)

My son enjoyed his Connecticut roll. I had the California lobster roll with avocado and wasabi crema. So good. They come with house made chips seasoned with Old Bay. Very good. Not greasy. Next time I want to try the lobster tots. They have a cooler with soda, beer, and wine minis, as well as a slushy machine. Service is fast and friendly. Lots of outdoor seating. The location at Olcott Beach is great. It's right by a small ferris wheel, and in walking distance to the shops, beach, carousel park, and Krull Park. A great addition to the town.

Well I'm happy to say that I was not deceived, these were fresh and of good size ( we got the sampler). I was most impressed by Connecticut roll and the Fire roll, the New England wasnt bad just didnt hit as hard as that buttery or spicy taste. The kids tenders and tots, the little yelper crushed those and left super happy. The only meh thing for me was the clam chowder, I love a thick chowder and the misses loved this one because it wasn't. We agreed to disagree on this. But absolutely great experience overall and we are looking forward to visiting the new Lewiston spot next.
