-poor service -chairs smell like a wet dog -half the cream in the princess cake is tasteless; the other half tastes like cigarette smoke and dust (though the green bottom part was perfect) -they don't accept cash - WHAT?!?!!! -they're already mopping, putting up all the chairs, the candles are blown out, curtains over the windows, lights half out, at 6:45, though they don't close till 7. Geez, try not to be so obvious about not wanting us to come in anymore...

Love this bakery! Seek it out-- it is worth it. It's not in the main tourist area and a little walk from Galma stan... but if you're going to eat pastries, you might need the walk. Quaint and very cozy on the inside. It makes you want to sit and just take it all in... or read... or play on your phone. The selection of pasties is very good. They also have a variety of fresh fruit juices and sandwiches. The juices are all pulpy and it feels like you're being healthy! The sandwiches are also good. With a good variety of ingredients inside. Just the right portion to have a pastry too! The cardamom bun was fantastic. Just the right amount of spice so its not over powering and the bun was so moist and soft... almost melting in your mouth....

Tasty, fresh, large selection. However, if you are allergic to nuts your selection will be ... limited. :/ It's very convenient to the Mariatorget park. Times visited: 1

Delicious fluffy Semla with a great subtle cardamom taste, heavy sweet cream and Marzipan filling for 40SEK.

Semla 40SEK, tea 30SEK, coffee with free refill 28SEK. Friendly staff, comfy atmosphere! Definitely a good choice for a 'fika' if you appreciate a good pasty!

This is an excellent cafe, with unbelievably good cake. The tables outside have a nice view of a park and a calm street, with not many cars.

Definitely enjoyed a shrimp sandwich with a nicely spiced Chai tea here. Highly recommended.

Our second visit to this neighborhood cafe to have coffee. Sadly no decaf for me but my husband…read moresays the latte is "ok. Good enough to have but not to especially seek out." The breakfast was also "ok" I had porridge with berries (frozen?presweetened?) and peanut butter. My husband had the "breakfast special" which is a typically Nordic multigrain roll, cut in half, with butter, cheese, and a sprig of lettuce. it was accompanied by a small serve of yogurt and berries, and an egg which had to be returned twice because he wanted it hard boiled versus poached, which is the norm. Service is just ok - seems to be a theme, right? It should be noted that this is a computer, free café, meaning they don't want people coming here and sitting at the tables all day working. In a way I find that refreshing because it means people are actually interacting with each other and coming here specifically too visit and catch up. Isn't that how it should be? TIP: there is wifi but you must ask for it (code Mozart19)

While I will not claim to be an avocado toast aficionado this was definitely one of the better ones I've had. Nicely toasted bun. Just enough avocado. Some salt and a dash of red pepper together with fresh greens was a hit. Nice tea selection as well. Highly recommend.

They did not have large chunks of nuts or cardamom in the filling, which I'm personally not a huge fan of. And the gluten free option was also very good, dare I say better than the regular one.

5 out of 5 for amazing traditional Swedish pastries and customer service. Found this place by…read morechance while browsing around the area (first time in Stockholm and wanted a traditional bakery item) and this bakery had amazing baked goods, from cakes to pastries. Thelins Konditori did not disappoint! There is spacious seating indoors and outdoors and this bakery had a classy, quiet atmosphere, which I very much love. I had tried the traditional Kanelbulle pastry bread which is kind of like an American cinnamon roll, except that this one had some kind of cardamom spice, cinnamon, and some sugar sprinkled on top. I had imagined this bread to be extremely sweet, but it was not too sweet at all and was perfect for an afternoon "Fika" break. This would have paired well with the coffee and espresso items that this bakery also offers. My husband ordered a mixed nut tartlet and it was extremely flavorful and had a buttery texture. The customer service here was phenomenal and the person taking care of my order was extremely kind and sweet. She spent time explaining to me which pastries were recommended. I highly recommend this place for both tourists and locals alike!
