The store has so many cool and interesting little things, like beaded keychains, hair accessories, candles, jewelry, greeting cards and decor. Some of it is vintage and some is locally hand made. The back of the store is the thrift clothing section. Everything looks to be in excellent shape. There's also records, shoes and purses. I saw a Dior coat, and some items by Burberry and by Alexander McQueen. They are selective about their selection of items they accept. There isn't any of that awful stuffy smell. It feels and looks like everything is brand new. It's easy to look and touch things without the fear of everything falling. This store isn't stuffed at all. I can't wait to return and see what else they have.

In addition to the wide assortment of furniture, you'll also find some small locally made goods, like candles and hair accessories. This is a very small store, the items are placed so intentionally, so there is plenty of walking room, without the fear that you'll walk into anything. I really loved Cindarella's Attic, if you're looking for a special accent chair, or a dresser in a unique color this is the place to go.

Jessica is pretty talented when it comes to refinishing furniture so we don't need to pay someone else for their time, since Jessica can do it just as well. She uses great colors, her prices are fair, and she gets some pretty quality pieces. So far we've bought a Thomasville french provincial dresser and a 1930's Art Deco vanity. She does have pretty nice costume jewelry (not really my thing I am a dude), paint for furniture, handmade soap and other assorted items (we got some pretty sweet porcelain door knobs too). We haven't attended one of her classes, but on Saturdays you can learn how to paint furniture (shabby chic style), and you leave with the piece you worked on. If you appreciate things like dovetailed drawers and actual wooden furniture check this place out.

We've visited their Simsbury store a bunch of times, and we saw pretty much the same selection of low priced goods here in Glastonbury - men's & women's clothing, shoes, household goods, artwork, books, toys, etc. We caught a 50% off sale on clothing yesterday, and I walked out with a $15 blazer for $7.50. Pretty sweet, eh? All proceeds go to charity (The Village for Families) and the store employees are all volunteers. The two women we interacted with were as nice and friendly as could be, we really enjoyed chatting with them. Bottom line? You can score some great bargains and support a worthy charity all at the same time.

In here I feel like I'm seeing my grandma's furniture pieces and other goods. This store is styled very tastefully. It's not at all overly packed, or crowded. Everything can be touched and seen. You'll find small armoires, rocking chairs, dressers, there are beautiful fine wool coats, brooches and jewelry. None of the small items are in glass, which is a bit odd. There are plenty of records and other collectibles. They have original maps of Wethersfield and other towns. All of the items are in excellent shape and I thought the prices were all very fair. This shop is lovely and very worthy of a visit, and maybe you'll find a great little gem to give a home to.

Upon walking inside the first thing I have to mention is the awful, awfully strong smell of mold. It's everywhere. The only way to escape it was to get out of the store. This store primarily sells rugs, they are beautiful rugs, they come in a variety of patterns and sizes. They are hung on walls and stacked on the floor. I couldn't help but wonder if I were to purchase a rug wouldn't I also be purchasing the odor that comes with it? The rugs are thick and made of wool, it's a process to wash them. They also sell some beautiful framed artwork. There was more downstairs, I just couldn't stay due to the smell. This store has a lot of potential, they should do something about the mold.

The store is larger than the one we customarily visit in Simsbury, so I didn't feel cramped walking around alongside a fair number of fellow shoppers. It's very neat and well organized inside and seemed to have a lot of merchandise. I saw the usual dishes, housewares, women's and men's shoes (including some gorgeous Air Jordans), shirts, blouses, outerwear, pants and jeans, plus sportscoats and men's suits ($25 or so). Some of the more unusual things I saw was an impressive collection of "I Love Lucy" memorabilia, and hiding among the audio CD's was a William Hung CD! He made quite a splash on American Idol 20 years ago, and if you're too young to know who he is, go check him out on YouTube. I bought a long sleeve white dress shirt, a red tie, and my wife bought a long sleeve top. After the 35% discount we paid an obscene $16 for everything. Yes, quite the bargain indeed. PRO TIP Parking is a bit of a toss-up, their lot is micro-sized, so you'll probably end up parking on a side street like we did.
