The store is larger than the one we customarily visit in Simsbury, so I didn't feel cramped walking around alongside a fair number of fellow shoppers. It's very neat and well organized inside and seemed to have a lot of merchandise. I saw the usual dishes, housewares, women's and men's shoes (including some gorgeous Air Jordans), shirts, blouses, outerwear, pants and jeans, plus sportscoats and men's suits ($25 or so). Some of the more unusual things I saw was an impressive collection of "I Love Lucy" memorabilia, and hiding among the audio CD's was a William Hung CD! He made quite a splash on American Idol 20 years ago, and if you're too young to know who he is, go check him out on YouTube. I bought a long sleeve white dress shirt, a red tie, and my wife bought a long sleeve top. After the 35% discount we paid an obscene $16 for everything. Yes, quite the bargain indeed. PRO TIP Parking is a bit of a toss-up, their lot is micro-sized, so you'll probably end up parking on a side street like we did.

Most of the clothes and shoes were organized by color/size. Don't forget to look at the sign when you enter, items are on sale based on the color of the week/day. Thrift shopping is like treasure hunting, sometimes you find something good, other times you don't. Overall, a decent thrift shop for a good cause.

They have such pretty jewelry. Please use caution when browsing. I attempted to open one of the drawers off a small chest of drawers, it was lined with glass bottles on top. The store has so many cool and interesting little things, like beaded keychains, hair accessories, candles, jewelry, greeting cards and decor. Some of it is vintage and some is locally hand made. The back of the store is the thrift clothing section. Everything looks to be in excellent shape. There's also records, shoes and purses. I saw a Dior coat, and some items by Burberry and by Alexander McQueen. They are selective about their selection of items they accept. There isn't any of that awful stuffy smell. It feels and looks like everything is brand new. It's easy to look and touch things without the fear of everything falling. This store isn't stuffed at all. The shop is very well organized, toys are well kept and wrapped nicely together, and there were a lot of luxury brand clothing, gently used. They coin themselves they are West Hartford's finest children's consignment shop. The pricing was fair for most items (toys, decor, etc), but clothing seemed a bit high. They do have a rewards/loyalty program which I signed up for--I got 10% off my first purchase AND $5 off. Also, if you are local or close by they have 10% off Tuesdays. The young ladies that rang us up were very nice. I'd likely visit again since the shop is very clean. A lot of second hand children shops are cluttered, disorganized, and have a strange smell. This store primarily sells rugs, they are beautiful rugs, they come in a variety of patterns and sizes. They are hung on walls and stacked on the floor. I couldn't help but wonder if I were to purchase a rug wouldn't I also be purchasing the odor that comes with it? The rugs are thick and made of wool, it's a process to wash them. They also sell some beautiful framed artwork. There was more downstairs, I just couldn't stay due to the smell. This store has a lot of potential, they should do something about the mold.
