I made an appointment for a lip wax, and unfortunately I had a very bad experience. The wax was way…read moretoo hot and it burned my upper lip. I now have visible marks from the burn. What made it worse is that after the wax, nothing soothing was applied. Normally, aloe vera is used after a lip wax to calm the skin, but instead she only put what seemed like an oil or Vaseline. Because of the burn, I now have to apply medicated ointment to help my skin heal. A lip wax should never result in burns, and proper aftercare is very important. I'm very disappointed with this experience and would not recommend getting waxing services here.

The space is comfortable, clean and welcoming. I love that they always remember me, even after a long time. LYNN: She is the ONLY person I let touch my feet. Period. She is so kind and thoughtful and does my toes just how I like. She gets my shape right and my feet always feel and look brand new after her. I get the Luxe Pedi. KELLY: When I was getting my hands done here (I'm a nail artist so I'm back to doing them myself), but I only would see Kelly for my hands. She is very talented with the nail art and always recreated the reference pics perfectly. Oh! They have good music and have wine too. Highly recommend to make this your new place.

It was packed when I arrived but the automated check (and reminders) were a nice perk. But the owner Sang greeted me and graciously welcomed me and assured me I'd be helped quickly. I was - and my manicurist greeted me humming a happy tune. The technician for my pedicure was also incredibly friendly and upbeat without being intrusive. They proceeded to quickly and efficiently do an excellent job, tag teaming effectively in great spirits. I was done fast, definitely impressed with my nails and not rushed while they thoroughly dried. All in all, a wonderful experience from start to finish. I absolutely recommend this salon. It exceeds the common salon by a good measure.

Carla greeted me with a big smile and immediately offered drinks--regular or sparkling water, red wine, champagne, tea, even Vietnamese coffee. Plus a cookie. How nice is that?! The vibe inside is super chill. They play actual good jazz, not the usual Top 100 playlist radio junk blasting in most salons. It made the whole place feel calm instead of chaotic. I feel like I'm trapped in a teenager's playlist in most nail salons. This place gets it. Keep it classy, please don't change. Their color selection is gorgeous--lots of pretty, glittery, iridescent shades--and they've got nail art samples out so you can see ideas before committing. They've only been open 3 months, but the setup is really polished. Pedicure area gets bonus points for sturdy disposable liners, not those sad plastic bags most places use. Clean and secure. Prices are reasonable, and Vanessa did a great pedicure: careful, detailed, and really good at what she does. Not the best morning, but walking in here definitely turned the day around.

When I arrived, they were running 20 minutes behind, so I'd recommend mentioning any time constraints when you book so that they're aware. Vanessa felt bad and was very apologetic about the delay -- even gave me a gift card for next time to apologize. They have parking in the back of the building you just have to get the code from her when you make your appointment. But if not there's plenty of metered street parking around. Overall, great service and I'd definitely come back!

Longest lasting pedicure!…read more Here's the rest of the story: with summer around the corner, my toes were ready for special attention. Grace was close to home, with solid reviews, so I made an appointment. The salon is pleasant, light and airy. The people who work there seem attentive and focused on customers vs chatting with each other nonstop. The pedicure was efficient, they didn't try to get me to leave while the polish was still drying, and I was happy with the results. My nails looked great! I meant to leave a review then, and somehow it didn't happen. Meanwhile, time passed, and I just realized that it's been a month since my pedicure and my nails look almost as good as they did that day. That's a first! I'm sure that -- eventually -- the polish will chip. But now that I've found Grace, I know where to go for my next pedi adventure.

It included a paraffin wax heel treatment, callus removal, green tea scrub, green tea clay mask, and a 10 minute hot stone foot massage - she loved it! I was very rough with my natural, long nails and had two tears in the nail bed. Grace was such an expert - she recommended a few ways to ensure that the nails didn't tear and allowed for me to keep the length. I also loved their color selection - they had beautiful sheer gel colors and also organic, fast drying polish. Another plus - the have a dedicated parking lot and Grace (the owner) also offers facials! I would highly recommend them and I look forward to coming back.

I Called the number to check if there were any openings because I know sometimes cancellations occur. The lady over the phone scheduled me for an appt the same day, which I was very happy with. I parked and walked to the address, but I couldn't find the studio. I thought it may have been inside the big building and walked in and still couldn't find it. I called her back and told her I'm here and if the address is correct on Booksy app. She then tells me did you put in the zip code? I told her that I clicked on the directions link on the Booksy app. I didn't have to type anything in. I drove to the location that was provided on the app. I asked her if the address on Booksy is correct and she says yes. I'm asking why would I have to put a zip code in if the address on Booksy is correct? She's speaking to me as if I'm supposed to know the gps can possibly lead to a different address than what's on there. She then hangs up on me and never picks up the phone again or text me back. I drove far out to this spot and she doesn't even care. I have never experienced something like this after I booked an appt. Also, If you know this is something that happens often to your customers, why not give me that warning over the phone? How would I know that the address that you put in for your business could possibly be incorrect? So unprofessional, nasty and very inconsiderate. Thank God I experienced this before I gave them my money. I will be telling everyone I know to never come here if you can do something like this to a new customer, you don't deserve any business!!!!!
