I was able to get an appointment afterschool the next day! When I walked into the salon, it was very comfortable and very cute! I was greeted kindly and they took my bag to a locker while I waited for the time of the appointment. Everyone was so kind and they took care of me nicely with respect and they were very gentle with everything and they did the exact haircut I wanted! I walked out very satisfied and I will be coming in for every future haircut! I would totally recommend to anyone that is looking for a new hair salon!!

The treatment did not come out the same, and it felt like a cheaper product or formula was used. The prices are reasonable but not cheap, which I don't mind if the quality is consistent. However, the second experience caused me to lose trust, and I won't be returning. The salon is quiet and reasonably clean, and the service was decent. It's also usually not very busy. I originally chose this salon because of the positive Yelp reviews, but after my experience, I'm not sure they reflect the quality I received.

When you know, you know. This is now my forever hair salon…read more I had such bad experiences with my past salons that I've been very hesitant to get my hair cut. I am so glad I went with my gut and got my hair cut from here. The first woman who greeted me, I think Su, was so lovely and accommodating as I was a walk in. She was also the one that washed my hair. I voiced my concern about sensitivity and she was like no problem and even informed my hair dresser. She was gentle with washing my hair. Then my hair dresser Winnie, felt like I was talking to my aunt. So sweet and gentle with me. She heard my concerns and gave recommendations. I usually never talk a lot during other hair cutting sessions at other places, but with her, we were chatting away. I showed her a picture as well and she nailed it. For anyone who is giving this place a try, or any hair cut in general, always bring an inspo pic. I suggest to make an appointment, or walk in and make an appointment. They were very busy, which is a good sign. They do speak English pretty well, but also speak other languages like Canto.

Terrible experience. I had seen Oren and Velma both recommended, and Oren was not there. My hair…read morewas bra-strap length all around. I told Velma 'long layers' and 'cut off only an inch' over and over, and she repeated it over and over. I explained that if it was too short, it would be puffy. She repeated that too. And then, suddenly, before I knew it -- while keeping the far back fairly long -- she had chopped the sides and front shockingly short. She then stuck gel in it until it was crispy and dry. I had to go home and wash and deep-condition it immediately. Velma is very nice -- hence the two stars -- but that is it. She spoke about retiring -- she's older -- and perhaps that is an issue: that once she was good but should not be cutting hair anymore if she cannot follow directions -- even those she has repeated herself.

If I were a man in search of a barber shop, this would be 5 stars. The men who were getting their…read morehair cut there looked great. If I spoke their language ( I think Chinese) it probably would have been ok too. Unfortunately , I am an English speaking woman who has been growing her hair out for 10 months and was so close to my goal length. Part of this is my fault. I should have made an excuse and kindly walked out when I realized that my stylist didn't speak much English and the salon was not up to my cleanliness standards, but I needed a trim and thought that I could explain with a few simple words and mime since what I wanted was minimal. When I saw how much he was taking off on the left side, I stopped him and told him to barely trim the right, thinking, "well OK, asymmetrical cut for a while", but it was not to be. Short hair and very widely stacked layers are now my frenemy to grow out for the next year. My stylist was very nice and extremely meticulous, but the cut is kind of workmanlike and not what I asked for. I would give 3 1/2 stars if I could. The woman at the front desk was lovely and gave me a good discount because she heard I was unhappy with the length.
