The Rosti did not disappoint. Full disclaimer: Rosti can be a bit heavy with the cooking process that can include butter along with some bacon. Yes, the Rosti had the expected greasy texture, but just enough to make it savory without overpowering the various ingredients. I would recommend this restaurant if you are interested in trying the traditional Rosti dish in several varieties.

My venison was lovely as were the accompanying sides. There was a wide variety of side dishes in small portions and I appreciated that. For only 35CHF you provided me with a delicious appetiser, main dish, and dessert. My stomach was happily full for the remainder of the day. TIP: Other people also love Esquisse at lunch, so definitely be sure to make a reservation in advance. They have a little outdoor seating area on nice days that you can enjoy.
