I was craving Haitian cuisine, so we decided to give this place a try after not visiting for a long time. I was pleasantly surprised--they remodeled the entire inside, and it looks really nice. The food was really good and full of flavor, and I truly enjoyed my meal. The service was good too. If you're in the Little Haiti area, make sure you stop by and check it out.

Pretty sad that I have to update my review. I think there must be new management or chefs because the food is not the same at all. First, the young girl who answered the phone when I placed my order was really nice. Even walking in I was greeted which was new here so that was great. They renovated the inside so it looks nice. The food doesn't taste the same though, the pikliz tasted like plain Cole slaw, no spice or flavor. The rice and plantain was good but the griot was a miss. Super dry and just not how it usually tastes. Not to mention the price went up again ($15 to $17) from the original $12. I had to ask for the sauce and pikliz as well, both of which was not good. Super sad case

First time coming to this restaurant and let me tell you, it's definitely good. The service it's outstanding and it seems they just remodeled the place. I'm definitely coming back.

Stopped by here on my way back to Tampa. The griot was honestly the best thing I had. The legume was not what I expected, but it was good. Service was ok and our food came out promptly. The rice and peas was ok as well. The bathroom was not the best and had no soap to wash hands. Overall I would return for the griot. It was crispy, juicy and well seasoned. Serving size was also fantastic. One plate could feed you for a few days. With some minor changes, this place would be top tier.

Sak passe! Good food. Fast service. Reasonable prices. Cash only, so be prepared. Side options are extremely limited, but I respect the realness. I would describe as a divey (cheaper) chef creole. 2 botanicas across the street so you know its real. First time so I stuck to the classics and had the grio (fried pork). Not overcooked or to dry with a good ratio of meat to skin and fat, and seasoned suprisingly well - mild, not too heavy. Personally I like it with more spice #hotboysummer. Sauce and picklez on the side (not pictured). Sauce (grio broth based) and picklez (fresh pickled spicy cole slaw mix) came in clutch since spice level wasn't as high as I prefer. 11/10 would reccomend.

Bring Ca$h! Bring patience! If you think for one minute you are going to place your order and have it come out quick, save yourself and go to a drive-thru! The food here is prepared and cooked! I loved eating an authentic Haitian meal. All the locals were eating here and that's when I knew I found a gem! After being in South Beach for a few days, I was beginning to feel like eating a home cooked meal. Besides almost going bankrupt in SB, I'm glad this place has meals under $10! To get all this food for under $10 is amazing! So why not 5 stars? ... You lost a star for brining back flashbacks of when I lived in the Caribbean. Giving back the wrong change, obviously having it work in your favor is not a good look. My friend was over charged and I was short changed. COUNT your money!

Baby Miami doesn't owe me a thing!!! The best Haitian food I have EVER had in my entire life EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING was amazing, I got on the plane crazing this food. The food is authentic flavorful and cooked with plenty of love. The staff was decent and show good customer service, the place is small but the food is worth the trip. When I get back to Miami Florida, I will be back for some delicious food.

Noam greeted us warmly and immediately helped arrange a buffet-style setup featuring all the popular Haitian dishes--everything was flavorful, authentic, and beautifully prepared. The GM, Malinda, was extremely attentive, making sure everyone knew what each dish was and felt comfortable, and Matta was very professional and efficient while setting everything up. This was a real test of Naomi's Garden's ability to handle pressure and a big group, and they passed with flying colors. Beyond the amazing food, we genuinely learned about Haitian culture through the cuisine. Incredible experience--highly recommend Naomi's Garden for both the food and the hospitality.

I asked about a menu and was directed online to search "Naomi Miami," but when I asked for the grouper fillet on the menu online I was told they didn't have it. I got the tofu with rice and the spinach stew, and my boyfriend got the chicken with yellow cornmeal. We haven't had Haitian food, but we both enjoyed our entrees. The portion sizes were large and I think most people could eat this for two meals.

The flavors were really hittin--not salty but definitely not lacking in flavor and complexity. So delicious The only criticism I would have from what I ordered is that the rice was ever so slightly undercooked which made it a bit dry. Other than that, everything was great. There's not really a server--you order and they text you when it's ready. Then you come pick it up and go to your table. But the cashier lady was very nice and helped me decide what to get.

If you're looking for something unique to try at the Citadel, Manjay is worth a shot. They serve Haitian cuisine. Portions were generous and in general, the food was kind of heavy. Many of the components I believe were made to order, so there was a short wait. Here's what my wife and I ordered: Appetizer: * Caribbean Conch Fritters ($14) - Manjay pikliz, honey mustard remoulade These were big and tasty. Six pieces, like giant hush puppies with conch inside. The plate came with pikliz in the center. Pikliz is like the Haitian version of coleslaw, made with cabbage, carrots, onions, and peppers. Manjay's version was spicy and yummy. Bowls, each with 2 sides and 1 sauce: * Honey Jerk Chicken Bowl ($18) - breaded and tossed in Manjay's homemade honey jerk sauce; with red beans rice and sweet plantains and scotch bonnet mango aioli * From Haiti with Love (Griyo) ($18) - Deep-fried Kreyol-style slow-braised pork; with banan payzay and toofay Both the chicken and pork were very good and flavorful. The pork was served bone-in. The rice and beans and sweet plantains were comforting and addictive. The scotch bonnet mango aioli was spicy. Banan payzay are Haitian pressed plantains. These were savory and starchy. The toofay ("legume") was good too. It's a hearty vegetable stew, essentially Haitian ratatouille. Our cashier was Roniqua and she was nice. During our visit, I think Manjay had the longest line (a good sign). After walking around, looking at the other food court options and seeing Manjay's high rating on Yelp, we were sold on Manjay. We dined in so we got real plates and silverware. We actually took everything up to the rooftop bar and ate up there. Our trays were bussed by the staff on the roof. Along with this location at the Citadel food court in Little River (just north of Little Haiti), Manjay has a casual strip location near the Miami airport in Doral. This Citadel location is the original; it opened in February 2019. The Doral location opened in 2024.

It is the first "mainstream" Haitian restaurant I have ever been to, and I like the use of a good, detailed menu. Also, the graphics make everything more friendly, I definitely would say that this is a copy of a Chinese takeout but with Haitian offering. I got the pork chunks with rice and fried tostones, it was all very good and generous. The sauce was tasty and the pikliz was on point, although I would have like a bit more heat on it. Overall, very fresh and tasty good, I highly recommend this place to newbies. I'm definitely coming back.

We ordered griot (fried pork) and boulette (Cajun meatballs) dinner plates. Both came with rice (today was red beans and rice), plantain, and pikliz. The flavors were perfect, the rice was very flavorful, the griot was fried perfectly, and the pikliz had a nice spice level. We also ordered their juices - fruit punch and passion fruit - both were good. This restaurant is located in a small complex near a BP gas station and barber shop. There is limited indoor seating but we arrived at 11;30 so only one table was occupied. Most customers took their orders to go. I will definitely come here again when I am in Miami.
