This place serves the most delicious meal I've had in Paris. The food is exquisite and the ingredients fresh. The price is reasonable and ambiance cozy.

They've got some legit crepes here! * * * EXPERIENCE * * * Made a reservation through AMEX for 1pm lunch, we just got off our flights and with all the transportations, check-in and everything we actually went 10 minutes late - sorry about that. For some reason the front entrance door was locked even though the restaurant was still open. We were seated promptly at a table reserved for us. Even though this restaurant is in a quiet neighborhood it was still pretty full on that Saturday. There were only two staff working - one for cooking and one as a waiter, this means the service was actually pretty slow (however later I found that slow service is everywhere in French restaurants in France so we just have to get used to that pace) the waiter was very nice and spoke good English. There are a lot of crepe options on the menu, daily special on the board, other salad options as well. * * * FOOD * * * Tuna salad: A- The tuna was very different from those I have ever had - with strong fish/ocean scent. The vege was fresh, along with the sauce it was a pleasant dish. Prosciutto crepe: A- My first time having savory crepe, I enjoyed it a lot with my favorite prosciutto topping. Egg, ham, mushroom and tomato paste crepe: A Wonderful! Poking through the sunny side up egg, it flows around the crispy crepe and with the mushroom and tomato enhancing the flavor.... very nicely done. Vanilla ice-cream crepe with caramel: A- The crepe skin was crispy, and with the ice-cream + caramel, the whole thing just melt in my mouth, very pleasant to eat on a hot summer afternoon. Tried other crepe places in France but this one was still top in my opinion. Well, it also maybe because it's the first restaurant I tried after landing in Paris, but this restaurant will be one of the highlights in my European visit memory.

After Yelping for quite awhile and it being a late night in Paris, we were relieved to find Chez Imogene still open. We made it about 15 minutes to closing and they were kind enough to still let us have a table. Initially the chef had said he could only make dessert crepes which was totally understandable given the hour but as we sat he came over and said he would make anything from the menu. We had the Chez Imogene prix fixe menu which comes with an appetizer, savory crepe, and dessert crepe for less than 20 euros. Ours came with a vegetable soup served chilled and we opted for the crepe with pumpkin puree, bacon, mushrooms. The buckwheat crepe was crips and delicious. We also ordered an egg and ham crepe which was just as good. The dessert crepe was the special of the day an orange sorbet sweet crepe flambé. Just a great way to cap the meal. Next time I want to try their emmental cheese based crepes. Their menu is extensive and the cafe is tourist friendly so if you're staying in the area you might be a regular. For patrons of the Hotel le Mareuil, this cafe is down the block.

Just WOW. This is an incredible gem of a restaurant with amazing food. This is a truly non-touristy, Authentic spot. Our waiter was extremely friendly and the ambiance was very relaxing. Exactly what I was looking for in an authentic French restaurant.

This was the only crepe meal I got to have in Paris, and I'm glad I had it here! For about 10€, they offer a three-course pre fixe for lunch. I had the salad, mushroom and leek galette, and caramel crepe. Everything was so delicious and from our table we could see them making the food, which was cool. I also tried the carrot and goat cheese galette and chocolate crepe, the latter of which featured a pool of melted chocolate. So good. I think it's run by a husband and wife, and the place was packed so I would suggest making a reservation!

I don't live in Paris, but I've been here many times and have had many crepes here. This is hands down the most amazing crepe I've ever had. It's a quaint place and well worth the trip if you have a bit of a ways to get here. I had apple crepe with calvados. (Something I usually get except without calvados). This one wins the prize.

If you're in Paris, you have to have their crepes! Chez Imogene is the place to go! With crazy amount of Yelp reviews, we had to check this restaurant out and especially, since it's less than a block away from out hotel! We came after dinner for dessert and was blown away. Here's what we ordered: Apple, caramel, and almond crepes- so savory, every single bite. The apples were baked and so soft and so good. The caramel and almond went really well with it. Yum! Hazelnut ice cream- my husband loved this, I thought it was okay. The staff are super friendly and they will explain anything to you that you don't understand in French. They also have a English menu so it's super tourist friendly! We are definitely coming back before we depart this beautiful country!

We stayed at a hotel a block away from Chez Imogene, and we went there twice during our stay in Paris. This is a wonderful little Paris creperie. We tried 3 different creperies, and this was our favorite. We almost gave up on the idea of liking savory crepes, but Chez Imogene changed our mind! The chef is a pleasant older man who always has a smile on his face (and would nod in acknowledgment every time we passed by the restaurant), and you can tell he loves to make his food. Definitely trust him! Order the dish of the day and dessert of the day! Both times, we had crepes with ratatouille in them and it was absolutely delicious. The dessert crepes are also sweet and delicious!! This place made us feel like locals, and we will definitely miss going there!

Great experience! As someone who doesn't speak French, it was a positive experience with the patience of our waitress. Two person shop, so be patient, especially if they get busy. This was our last meal in Paris, and easily our favorite thus far. Ordered andouille, which is different in France than in America. The waitress took time after I ordered to confirm if it was what I thought it was. I'm grateful, because it was not what I would have been interested in. The quality of service is surpassed by the quality of food. Exactly what I hoped for! Do yourself a favor, and eat here.

Amazing great quality crepes! This place is quite popular, we came at around 10pm and still had to wait about half an hour. The waiter was very nice and gave us a free drink while we waited. I don't remember the name of the crepe I ordered but it came with mushrooms, bacon, carrot puree, and a tomato sauce. I was a bit confused on how to eat it though because they put the ingredients on top of the crepe instead of in it for mine. These crepes are much better than any crepe you buy off the street by the touristy places of Paris. After eating here, I bought a crepe off the street by the Eiffel Tower and it was nothing compared to this. The crepes here are thin and crispy while the one I bought off the street was thick and chewy.

English-speaking friendly! We went here for dinner at 9pm on a Monday. After trying crepes here, I can't eat the street crepes anymore! I tried to La Rustique (savory crepe) and the day special, dessert crepe with strawberries and choice of ice cream. The savory crepe was thin and nicely browned. La Rustique is a safe choice to try if you're craving something that screams classic American breakfast (eggs, bacon, cheese). For the dessert crepe we chose to pair with hazelnut ice cream. Very different flavor, but yummy! Only problem was the waiter told us we would have a 20 minute wait, and that we could take a walk meanwhile. When we came back someone else took our table, but they were nice enough to give us complimentary drinks as we waited. Good move Definitely would come back to eat again because of the ambience and how they don't rush you even after closing time!

Special of the day - beef, potato, cheese, gravy (onion, etc)

Most unforgettable crepes in Paris. Do NOT miss this! Definitely more of a "local" spot than a tourist restaurant. Enjoy!

This is a hard review because, on one hand the crepés were quite delicious--I ordered a chestnut…read morecream which I liked but was done with midway through and a butter and sugar which was fantastic and I could have ate many more--but it was the only place on my Paris trip that clearly ripped me off and didn't correct it when I questioned the server. I had ordered those two crepés, black tea, and a little milk for the tea. This should have only set me back about 20ish€ in total (the crepes were about 6-7€ and tea 5€). I was charged 37€. As I paid at the register I asked the server (in my halting French) "is it really 37€? That doesn't seem right." She shrugged and said, "Oui, 37€." While I didn't want to make a big deal out of it--nothing like being the raging American in a country not your own--I unhappily paid and chalked it up to an inevitability: every overseas trip it has had this happen once, where the language barrier seemed like an excuse to cheat. This was my one in Paris.

Our crepe creator was very friendly and cool, I like how they kind of put on a show when they make them, our crepe was purposely light on fire. :D If you don't don't like the taste of alcohol, I don't recommend the Brazilian, the rum was strong!
