Yet another case where I've worked within easy lunch distance of Chez Cafe, but it took me years to make it here. To be fair, located north of Cypress Creek and South of McNab it is a little bit out of sight for our normal lunch route drives. The outside is nothing special. It almost looks like maybe it was a gas station or something many years ago, but don't be discouraged, the inside is a cute little cafe with a great atmosphere. I was stopping in to grab something for take out. The do actually have a drive through window here, but since it was my first time I wanted to go in and see it, and look over the menu. This place definitely takes the coffee/cafe side of the business very seriously. I was a little bit early for lunch and there were a few morning customers still enjoying their breakfast beverages. The coffee menu is quite extensive. Not being a coffee drinker I don't really know what the difference between a mocha and a latte and a cappuccino, but they have them all. They also had hot chocolate so I made a mental note of that for when it dips down into the 60's this winter. Since my objective was lunch I looked over the options which included salads, soup, wraps, sandwiches, and paninis. I was happy to find a number of vegetarian friendly choices and ended up ordering the veggie wrap with a wheat wrap (there was also the option of a spinach wrap). It took them probably about five minutes to prepare and I was offered chips or pasta salad as a side. Since it was my first visit I decided to go with the house made pasta salad rather than basic chips. The wrap was delicious. All the veggies were fresh (lettuce, spinach, peppers, cucumber, tomato, carrots) and the wrap itself was soft and fresh as well. There was hummus inside that held everything together nicely, and it was well wrapped and didn't fall apart. The flavors were great, but I still felt like I was eating something healthy. Their pasta salad was quite good as well. Made with elbow noodles and maybe a little bit of mayo? I definitely tasted olive oil and herb flavors..the whole meal was just so fresh. At about $9 for the quality of ingredients I would say this is a good value lunch (and I think I ordered one of the more expensive menu items) I don't think anything was over $10. Although I grabbed my food and ran the cafe atmosphere inside with a few comfy couches and chairs as well as an area with more bistro like tables set up it would also be a great place to eat in. I'm excited to try more of the menu, and they have a rotating soup of the day, so don't forget to ask. read more

However, you order directly at the pick-up window & this place is more of a go-in-and-order unless you're just there for a coffee so it's understandable that my order would take time to prepare. Boomerangs surprised me. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but has a great space inside with room to sit at tables, a bar, and a small living room area. If it isn't too hot out, there is some seating out back, and a drive through window for when it is too much hassle to leave the air conditioned comfort of your soccer mom Escalade. There is also a fairly comprehensive deli counter for sandwiches, which I did not try. The baristas are friendly. While I was there an elderly regular customer was sitting on the couch with a cold, and the baristas all came over frequently to make sure she was ok, and to help her with cough medicine. Now that is great service. She made a fantastic "I hate this stuff" face when she took a spoonful of medicine. Ahh I love old folks. Oh, and at 11am there was a guy in the corner playing jazz guitar. Heck yess. Wireless internet is proper free (just a WEP password, no annoying login page or expiring coupon system) and fast. Best part? The bathroom (men's anyway) has a comfy recliner in it so you can sit and contemplate before or after using the facilities. Number one? Number two? I haven't seen a bathroom environment so inviting for such critical decision making. Easily the best coffee shop I've been to in south Florida so far. It is just too bad south Florida is so damn big and it takes hours to drive to any of these places. read more

I absolutely adore this little cafe. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it is definitely a gem. They offer a drive thru which I usually opt for, as my boyfriend and I like to make a pit stop here for breakfast in the mornings. When you pull in you are greeted by the smiling and upbeat cashiers at the window, which makes for a nice start to your day. Literally, everything I have tried here is good. I usually order an iced vanilla chai because they are simply sublime. I tend to switch it up for what I get for breakfast but one of my favorites is a ham egg and cheese on a croissant. Their croissants are perfectly light, flaky and delicious. They also have some very yummy lunch options. My favorite sandwich I've tried from here is the bbq chicken sandwich. It is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Disclaimer- if you order this be prepared to be in a food coma for a little while. They offer so many delicious things it's hard to tell you about them all. Another great thing that they offer is a rewards card. If you buy a certain number of coffee smoothies or iced teas they will give you one of your choice for free. Skip Dunkin donuts and Starbucks and come here because they will make you feel appreciated and much more satisfied! :-) read more

I have driven past this place many times and never had any desire to step inside based on the look of the outside. Only once you walk inside it is like you have entered another world! The staff is super friendly and helped me make a decision in the large menu of choices. I had an iced coffee that was a great start to my breakfast and thought it was an exceptional! To eat I enjoyed the traditional eggs Benedict that had a very flavorful hollandaise sauce and the eggs were perfect shape. Ham was good, but sliced a little thinner than I would have liked, but they put enough pieces to make up for it. At the request of the server I went with breakfast potatoes and they were perfect. Cut to the perfect consistent size to be sure they were cooked all the way through with a nice seasoning. They have a drive-through and a pretty big menu board with lots of items worth exploring! Outside of the negative look of the outside... Extremely small and awkward parking lot, but beyond that everything else about this place is golden! read more

Ordered a Breakfast egg and avocado sandwich on a croissant at the drive through. On the chalkboard outside the price was $6 and change (can't remember exactly). After ordering at the window was told it was $8.56. I explained the board showed $6 and change. The cashier called the manager who explained the new price was due to Covid. I advised her of the price on the board and she said they didn't have time yet to change it. I didn't want to argue but price on board should be honored. If your going to jack the price up $2 which is a ridiculous price for an egg sandwich the least you can do is change the prices on the board, (which is actually a legal binding contract which should have been honored). read more

I've left 5 stars before for this place because we previously liked their food, but... Update August 2022 Today, I ordered the chicken noodle soup. I thought I had ordered it from here before and liked it, but either I had not or they have changed the way they make it. Hate to write this but it was by far the worst chicken noodle soup I've ever had. The broth was greasy and tasteless, don't think there was any kind of seasoning in it other than some kind of tiny chopped dark green stuff, parsley maybe. No salt or pepper by the taste. The chicken was dry, stringy and tasteless. The vegetables looked like they were scraps leftover from other things. No uniformity in cuts whatsoever. Got tiny little pieces up to 1.5 x 1 inch pieces. In fact, some of the onion pieces looked like the outside peel pieces that most discard. And, they used elbow macaroni for the noodles. First time I've ever seen that. I know they can be considered noodles, but just seem odd in chicken noodle soup. I got the large thinking I would have half for lunch tomorrow but nope couldn't even get through a third of it, headed for the bin. read more

After looking at the menu and the reviews I had high hopes for this place. Sadly I was greatly disappointed. The main reason I went was to get a café drink blended with oatmilk. We get there and they had NO oatmilk. So the lady there blended Chai with water... gross. The attitude of the manager was argumentative when I asked about ingredients. First of all...My daughter has food allergies so it's important!!! Next we ordered a bagel and panini to go. My bagel was not toasted and it wasn't offered as an option and the panini had no flavor. This is a place that the locals know about, has a drive up for the one on the go people, (this is not a speed in and out drive through) or you can walk in and have a seat in the friendly atmosphere. Lots of people reading and doing computer stuff, hell one guy was writing a book on his computer, with a nice cup of Java. LOVE this place! Super-friendly staff and outstanding eats! This my go-to spot with girlfriends because it's the only place we haven't been kicked out of for gabbing too long. And that is a testament to how warm and welcoming the staff is. My favorite things to order are the garden wrap with peanut sauce and side of coleslaw, the Choco-Loco smoothie with a shot, tuna salad sandwich on croissant, and the toasted everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. Their coleslaw is maybe the best I've ever had. The smoothies can be made with soy, almond or rice milk. Don't want the extra calories of a croissant? Get the tuna on a salad. The staff has always been happy to tailor any item to our liking. I thought that "other coffee shop" had amazing Chai Tea. Not as good as this! I think I've driven past this place no less than 15 thousand times. I always thought it was a joke. A repurposed Quick-E-Mart (sorry, Apu) along Cyprus in an area that without Calypso might go unnoticed. It's essentially the Anti-Starbucks. Real food and delicious coffee served in a space with soul and owned by actual people. These people live in the community and by owning a small business contribute to the greater good of that community. Unlike the Evil Empire who eat up small independent shops and sells their bones, coffee houses like these are good for the social environment. Two beautiful girls with happy and helpful dispositions helped me with breakfast this morning and I wish I had known about this place sooner. You should have said something. read more
