This place was recommended to us by a family member! We were staying at a hotel nearby and decided to walk here to try. It just so happened to be $1 wing day, so that was a plus. We had zero complaints about the food. We had a party of 5 and waited about 15 min for our food. Everything cane out hot and fresh. These were honestly some of the most mid wings I've ever had. They were overcooked, the sauces had no flavor, and even the bleu cheese was watery instead of tangy. It's alright. Claimed the parmesan garlic wings were creamy but they ended more like a dry rub and with an oil pond sitting below the wings. The buffalo tenders tasted almost the same like Denny's, nothing crazy. The food I consider good if you look for a quick ordinary snack. The fries were slightly crispy and with good salty flavor. Chex are strategically placed all over the city. 2 things that were interesting. I called my order in and they told me it'd be ready in 10mins. I got there about 15 later and still had to wait an additional 10mins for it to be ready. So it defeated the purpose of me calling it in. Also upon arrival there was armed security at the front door. I know there's alot of activity in the area. But maybe that is a sign that I'll hold off on using this location in the future. I decided to grab a the Chex Wrap and Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap. Both wraps were good but the grilled chicken Caesar wrap was definitely better. I did like the sauce on the side of the Chex wrap but there wasn't really anything else inherently special about the wrap, it seems like there was just meat on the inside. The Chex wrap alone would've been a 3 star review so shoutout to the Caesar wrap! All in all, I'll likely go back because they have a huge menu. Need to try something different. read more

Chex Wings really hit the spot. I ordered the Greek salad and wings, and both were fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The salad had crisp veggies and a nice tangy dressing, and the wings were cooked perfectly with great lemon pepper seasoning.I vibed with it so much that I went back again before my flight, and it was just as good the second time. Although, I will say, the AI ordering was annoying. I ordered buffalo lemon pepper and they gave me the wrong flavor. We came in prior to the Panthers' game for lunch. The place was very busy. Once I made it to the register to order I was given a drink cup and had to wait on my order. The positives- the restaurant haas a 98.5 sanitation grade. I just ordered and paid for a wrap and a drink. They gave me fries that I didn't order. Restaurant itself wasn't anything special - it was your usual take out spot but it was very clean! Service was very good. We got our food quickly and while dining in the staff checked frequently to make sure we were ok. Now to the important part: the food! SO GOOD 10/10. I had the honey gold wings and onion rings. Everything was fresh. The fries were good too! I think their ranch is homemade, and it really good as well! This restaurant is in the spot where JJ's Red Hots used to be. I notice that it's busy during lunch time but I only stopped in recently when I needed a quick bite between meetings. Ordered the first sandwich that caught my eye on the menu - the jerk chicken sub. I hot validation from the person at the register that it was tasty and she was right! It had a punch of flavor and a nice kick from the spices. I literally only had time to eat 1/2 initially but could not wait to get home and finish it. I did mot expect it to be so good, but now I understand why this place stays crowded. They know what they're doing! The only thing I didn't like is that there was a roll of paper towels on the counter instead of napkins (interesting) and the French fry seasoning was in a 16 oz container, like one you would grab at a discount club, on the counter for everybody to pick up and use. We ordered pickup late Saturday night and this hit the spot. The person who answered the phone and took our order was nice and helpful. We ordered two turkey and cheese subs, which I was a little worried about since this is a wing joint. But these subs were great! LOL, now I know another spot to go to late night for some good food. This just a basic turkey and cheese sub with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions. But one difference was that they melt the cheese on the sub.
