The clinic itself was clean and everyone had mask on. The doctor gave me a few recommendations to cure my finger and wrote me a prescription. Hopefully, I won't have another emergency but if I do this will be my go to place.

A week into my recovery, the wrap covering my leg from knee to toes began to come loose -- something my doctor said could be carefully re-wrapped, but which would be extremely difficult for me to manage on my own due to the extent of my injuries. I came to OnPoint, expecting to receive a few minutes of basic assistance and was stunned when the clerk conferred with the medical staff and informed me that re-wrapping is "not something they get involved with." When I said that I found it hard to believe they would prefer I go home and attempt this myself rather than offer minimal help, I received only a shrug. Since I can't drive myself -- it is my right ankle that is broken -- I had to arrange to be be taken to AFC Urgent Care on Weslayan, where the staff took a few moments to assess my situation and re-wrapped the loosened area without hesitation. They even invited me to return if the wrap should come loose again before my follow-up appointment. I understand urgent care facilities have limitations, but refusing to spend five minutes assisting a patient with a serious fracture -- particularly one who cannot simply drive herself elsewhere -- reflects poorly on this practice. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend OnPoint to anyone in a vulnerable sitution.

Arrived today to find the Quest Diagnostic Clinic is nicely tucked away inside the Randall's store…read more Randall's is so pleasing to the eye, walking through the florals, candles and Christmas decor set the tone for a lovely experience. I checked into Quest via my phone, received a response back quickly they were ready for me. This location was very convenient for me in terms on getting my blood work done and getting to work at a reasonable time. Booking the appointment was painless, text reminders were just right, not too many and not to few. About an hour before my appointment received a reminder and COVID question. Easy Peasy. I hate hate hate having blood work done. My veins are very small and it's usually a painful event. Notice I said usually??? That's right, one stick in my hand and the blood was flowing. I'm a happy camper, I'm in and out in less than 15 minutes and pain free. No large bruises on my arms , no bruise on my hand.

I asked "why wasn't I notified, you have my info." She said "we can't control power issues, our staff went to another location to work." I asked "ok but I have appointment, why didn't you notify patients with appointments? And does that other location take walk-ins considering your issues." She said "i don't know." She didn't acknowledge her complete failure to notify me in advance. She showed more enthusiasm putting scotch tape to a paper on their door than dealing with patients. Poor professionalism. Solution: If the location is going to be closed in the middle of an afternoon, call your patients with appointments in advance before they drop by and have to deal with that cold and dry staff.

Even if appointments are recommended, I've been told this is a normal occurrence. I was able to be seen right away as a walk-in. The technician drawing my blood was pleasant and the person at the front desk was friendly. The service is on point. Bathroom is immaculate. I imagine it would have to be with all the disinfectant products laying all around. The office overall is very small and the waiting room can accommodate up to 10 people. Check in is pretty efficient and easy with the self-guided tablet. I 100% would come back again.

As soon as I walked in a phlebotomist asked wherher I was a "walk in". I replied no ma'am I just wanted to ask whether you accept a printed order. She replied, "No. And we are not taking any more walk ins today." I understand being overwhelmed and busy with waiting customers, but I found out later that the printed order is accepted at that Quests. I looked iny records and saw that I had had one before accepted at that location (I couldn't remember when I was there). So I ended up paying $86 for a lab, one order, that had I gone to Quest was fully covered by my insurance. I do not think the Quest employee meant to be dismissive or unwelcoming but she was.

Used the in-office kiosk, entered my info, then they pushed me to the website where I entered info again, twice. No indication of the payment, vague indications of the appointment. Horrible horrible horrible customer service experience. But I've already paid so I'm riding it out. If someone from Quest wants to contact me, I'd looooove to talk with you. Again, the onsite staff is just doing their job. It's not their fault. It's "nobody's" fault except the vague online "them". I'm sure the CEO makes a ton of money, is quite proud of himself, and tells jokes about patients at country club cocktail parties. Is it fundamentally worse than other healthcare? Hard to say but it's dehumanized, unpleasant, vague, all-about-the-money, and feels slimy and gross. It's Severance for healthcare. Would not recommend.

Out of nowhere, a staff member stormed out, raised her voice at me, and accused me of not "doing it correctly" -- without once asking if I needed help or clarification. When I explained that I was just waiting for my insurance card, she continued to speak to me harshly and dismissively before walking away to sit on her phone instead of offering assistance. This type of unprofessional, disrespectful behavior is the reason I chose to take my care elsewhere. If you want to be treated with basic courtesy and respect as a patient, I do not recommend this center.

Mine was a simple physical that needed to be done prior to nursing school. My son was to be referred to speech therapy. Now, 2 months (January 12) after the appointments, I have received over $2,000 in bills from Kelsey, saying that insurance covered absolutely nothing. Not even the flu shot. The fact that insurance was provided prior to appointments, and it took 2 months to say that absolutely nothing was covered, is a scam, and Kelsey is working with the insurance companies to scam innocent women and children. Just trying to get the SIMPLE care they need. I'm so beyond disgusted I trusted my son's care and my care with Kelsey. It is a scam, it is a con, a 3-year-old now not going to get the services he needs, and a single mom in school is now out $3500 when I could have just never bought insurance and gone to a clinic for $300 for the physical. Absolutely disgusted with Kelsey and the insurance system they support. This has resulted in me discontinuing trying to get my son the speech therapy he desperately needs, and shows that Kelsey is all about hurting and harming children, rather than providing actual health care. I am so absolutely disgusted.
