Stopped at this gas station during a road trip, and it was incredible compared to most gas stations I see on the road. So much so that I felt compelled to write a good review. Their restrooms are FREE. You don't need to pay for something to use basic utilities. That is golden when you're traveling. Their restrooms are also CLEAN and there's multiple available. Which is priceless. The entire store is clean, stocked, and kept impeccably. Everything looks organized. Got to pay more for that techron. The convenience store portion of the Chevron was alright. Had what the snacks and drinks I needed to get to my destination. Fuck this spot! Called ahead to see if they had any showers and they said yes. Asked if you needed to be a truck driver to use it, they said no. They say they have def but you can't pump it at the pump unless your tank is on the left side. It's only available on the trucker side. We transport camper and we were looking for a truck parking place. We called the station and the guy that answered the phone was really helpful. They have free truck parking, just advise getting there before 4-5:00pm it fills up fast. Fits around 60-75 trucks. They have truck pumps, & scales. The station is very clean, restrooms very clean. This station is in a good location, easy access off and back on the highway. Plus like most stations, using your credit card you can pay at the pump. This gas station completely saved my butt when I was on "0 miles to empty" on my way down to Santa Barbara!!! Siri told us that there wasn't a gas station for many more miles but then a miracle occurred: we passed this Chevron! It's pretty hard to be a bad gas station. All you need is gas, fair prices and a couple good snacks, which were all there at this location! We were able to fuel up quickly with the help of the friendly cashier who assisted me when I need to put in just $20 of gas at my pump! I got some takis, water and gatorade and was good to go and made sure to stop here for a fill up on my way back to the Bay Area! Truck stop is small but very clean and friendly staff. There is one shower available which is large, cheap $5.00 and super clean. The restaurant next door is great also very clean and great food. Well, i give it a 3 star for even being here for us trucks to park. California is consistantly bad with parking for trucks. You want your freight, and then we should just disappear...smh. Small convenience store, a few fuel islands, might have missed it, but i saw no showers (could be wrong). A good eatery next door though, within walking distance. Down the street is a Walmart and other stores to bobtail to. Lot is somewhat paved, with partial dirt lot. Its not beautiful here, but its here. Maybe parking for 30 or less trucks. I I went in this truck stop many times and it was a great place and I never had any problems but on the 15th of this month of May or March I mean I was in there and I was getting a hot dogs and I'm a homeless person and there were no cardboards boxes to put the hot dogs in so I had I had to do it in my hands so I did not want to use the tongs to get my hot dog out because I did not want to touch the tongs and then touch my hot dogs and eat them so I grabbed a hot dog that I was going to eat when one of the workers started yelling at me I rate and telling me to use the tongs and that I was touching the hot dogs touching all the hot dogs and that she'd been watching me and I so I grabbed the hot dogs and risked my health because she made me upset the way she had yelled at me and falsely accusing me fraudulently accusing me in public by saying that she saw me touching all the hot dogs when all I did was grab the hot dog that I put on the bun and I took a bite out of it because I never had that one and I wanted to make sure that I liked it before I choose the other hot dog cuz I was buying too so I used the tongs and I proceeded to and she yelled at me about throwing me out of the store because I defended myself as I have a right to that I did not touch all the hot dogs but she insisted that I had seeing embarrassed me in front of people and at the counter I went to pay and when I was done I again tried to correct her by saying that she should not falsely accuse somebody and in public and loud when she is wrong but she then yelled at me more putting me down and then the hot dog buns were crumbling in my hands as she was yelling at me and I was trying to hold my keynote tickets that I had played as well but the hot dog buns were crumbling I did not understand that the hot dog buns were no good either until I walked she called me said I made a mess all over the counter when it was her hot dog buns she should have been paying more attention to her job by having the cardboard boxes available and fresh buns as well in the hot dog been but instead she rather falsely accused people and put homeless people down and make them feel really bad and make them go through a lot of hassle and go to jail under the assumption of being under the influence and being wrong because they didn't leave the gas station because I can't I went out of the gas station after I paid took a bite of my hot dog and it fell apart and that's not supposed to happen with the fresh hot dog bun The bun was not good so I proceeded to return to the store and she met me at the door and said I'm not allowed in there and I said okay I just want to return these hot dogs because the buns are no good she said no and that she's calling the sheriff and I thought well good to sheriff will come and I will get my money back because I deserve my money back to the hot dog buns are no good and I didn't pay for bad hot dog buns I paid for fresh food but she called the sheriff and I got harassed by the sheriff and because my I'm having a bad teeth problem maybe have tetanus and I'm losing my teeth they thought that I am under the influence of drugs so I had to go to the station and I had to sign a paper because I could not issue a sample of my pee because their toilets were very dirty and ugly and I just wanted to go home to my dog so I had to sign a paper that actually makes me guilty because read more

The hubby and I found this Chevron gas station right off the freeway on our way back from visiting Solvang for the weekend. The location is really convenient and the lighting was perfect since it was super early in the morning when we were here and I didn't feel unsafe at all waiting in the car while he went in to pay for gas and grab some goodies to snack on. Their prices are 30 cents to 50 cents a gallon more than the stations just to the west on the other side of the 101. And oh surprise, their prices always match to the penny... price fixing?The Conserv Fuel at 910 East Betteravia Road is brand new, great clean bathrooms, and gas is much cheaper. *BEWARE* I purchased gas on pump 9 and the pump was fixed. I should have known something was wrong when the pump was going slow. It finally stopped after pumping 8 gallons.
